Cloud sat on his bike for a moment in silence, considering what was asked of him. Somehow, it sounded like a good idea. Teaming up, travelling with a party... just like the good old days. Still, even then he wasn't the type to go along with a crowd, so he merely lifted a hand to his hair, and with a casual flip of his bangs, made his answer.
"... not interested."
With that, Cloud pressed a button on Fenrir, activating a Transformation Gummi he had installed when he discovered the effects the Corridors were having on him. Parts of the bike would begin to fold out and twist on their own until it became a fully-functioning one-man Gummi Ship, his own special modifications. Revving up the engine, he closed down the hatch and sealed the cockpit before rocketing forward. The bike tore over the dusty terrain before making a sharp, 90 degree turn upward and taking off into the sky. Within moments, he disappeared in a twinkling blink of light somewhere on the skyline...

The whole time she was in the woman's hold, she felt as if she was in some kind of daze. She shook her head suddenly, when Agrias let her go to stand on her own. She felt better! Had she been healed? She didn't notice, not with as lost as she was. She looked around, then sighed as she looked to the church. "Ohhh..." she whimpered, shaking her head. "What will I do noww??"
She looked to the two women, then to the man who rocketed off on some kind of... space bike. She blinked, then looked to Agrias again who had just questioned her. "Well..." she pointed at the smoking ruin of the church just as it collapsed still further, leaving just a pile of rubble in its wake. "That WAS my safe haven... Now I'm all alone..." she looked down, a wave of sadness hitting her. She had no family to speak of, and the church was her life. Emptiness felt like it was settling in as she stared at the ground.
But then she suddenly looked up and slammed her fist down into her open palm. "Oh! I know!" she turned to Agrias, smiling brightly with her hands behind her back. "Why don't I come along with you? That man there didn't take your offer, so I know you have a position available! I see you have access to white magic, but I've trained in it my whole life! Perhaps I can act as a field medic so you can apply your energies elsewhere??" She smiled hopefully up at Agrias, completely ignoring Beatrix (not to be RUDE, mind you, but because this WAS the woman who had scooped her out of death's grip).
"May I? Please say I can!"

"That WAS my safe haven... Now I'm all alone..."
...all alone... echoed through the knights head, and she could only imagine the loneliness Princess Ovelia was feeling at this moment. She shook her head, wondering if she should ask without Beatrix permission, until the girl spoke once more, "Oh! I know!" Agrias would blink, her amber eyes starring into the girl's in curiosity, "Know?" she would ask.
"Why don't I come along with you? That man there didn't take your offer, so I know you have a position available! I see you have access to white magic, but I've trained in it my whole life! Perhaps I can act as a field medic so you can apply your energies elsewhere??"
The knight smiled at her brave gesture, pondering at it a moment or two, "A white mage...?" she asked herself, looking to Beatrix, "We are in need of a Healer, Lady Beatrix." she had given her answer, wanting the girl to join. Now, it was up to the General to make the final decision.

Beatrix leaned up against another scattered rafter, her arms folded. After Cloud had left, she covered her good eye from the dust cloud left behind. She turned to the younger woman, a bit apprehensive.
"A White Mage..." Now it was her turn to reminisce. Her Majesty, Queen Garnet til Alexandros...the greatest White Mage she had ever known. How was she? And Steiner? What had become of her homeworld since she left?
"A healer...Agrias, if we begin inviting every single person who comes passing by, we'll have an army of civillians..." She then looked the younger woman up and down once more. "You seem capable. Do you think that you can stand not to get lost beneath rubble again in the future? It would be appreciated. I have skills that far outweigh my white magic, and a full-time healer would save me from wasting my reserves in tight binds. Very well! You may come along, until you have deemed it necessary to begin your own path. I am General Beatrix Lilian Flint, General of the Hea--of Alexandria." I am no longer Maleficent's...No! "This is Agrias Oaks, my partner. She and I have traversed the worlds, in search of the Heartless, to vanquish them. You will see much danger in your future. Are you ready?"

The woman nodded fiercely after both women gave their consent. She was all smiles, eyes wide and bright with eager excitement. She held up a hand and gave a thumbs up sign to show her appreciation. "All right, you got a deal!" she called out in response to being asked NOT to get trapped under rubble. Sure, she had no way of knowing, but it felt right to agree.
She courtsied lightly to the two of them before standing up straight. "And my name is Abigail. Abigail Crescentlight, though you can call me Abby for simplicity's sake!" She looked to Agrias, and winked. "I hope we get to be very good friends!"
With that, she turned and looked around, blinking. "Huh...?" she then looked to them once more. "Where is your transportation?" she asked. She was totally unaware that these two were from another world... and that she had just agreed to go on an adventure far outranging the scope of her imagination. Still... she was ready and eager.

Friends? "Very well, Abigail Crescentlight. We shall set forth immediately. Now, as for our transportation..."
She raised a hand to the sky and fired a white ball of energy. It flew high into the sky, far beyond the clouds. After several quiet, tense moments, a gold and red-schemed airship, decked out with propellers and certain gummi enhancements descended, stopping several miles above the wreckage.
"Depart," she called, and grabbed the hands of both women. A moment later they each began to glow, and then transformed into misty orbs that hovered at lightning speed and up into the ship. Once aboard, she led them up to the bridge.
"Ellis," she said to her temporary pilot, "set course for Radiant Garden. Bring us close to Villain's Vale. I need to check in on someone, just to see if she's there. We'll head into town on-foot. Just wait for us, and then when we get the information we need, we'll be back."
Her pilot saluted, and then they were off.
"To Radiant Garden!" she repeated.

"Woooo...." Abigail gasped as she saw the spacecraft. Her eyes went wide at the majesty and scale of it before suddenly, she was being lifted upward, becoming the very light she worshipped before being reformed on the bridge of the ship. She looked all around in wonder as Beatrix gave orders to the autopilot.
"Astounding!" she whispered, then suddenly was jerked backward by the momentum of a moving ship. She quickly found a seat and crawled in, strapping herself down to prevent further damage. "To where??" she asked, unknowing that she'd get her answer only AFTER their arrival...
*going!*
