[glow=yellow,2,300]Kefka's face was shrouded in the darkness of the shadows created by the storm brewing directly overhead. For a couple moments he clutched onto his robes where the heart lay beneath and squeezed it a couple of times. When he saw that Atticus had returned, he backed up, surprised, as if he were deep in thought.
"Hm? Done?" He punted his newest Cloud Sand statue, causing it to crumble at his feet. "Excellent! I've got just the mark we're looking for. You want darkness? Kwee-hee-hee! How about one of the deepest pools of cataclysmic power you've ever seen...next to mine, of course?" His eyes glazed over with the thirst of power, and he was almost drooling over it.
"There's a good ol' friend of mine what needs a little...motivation, herself! I WANT HER! She will be mine! We're off to my world this time. Her name is Terra Branford. We'll find her in a squat little hamlet called Mobliz. Assemble your Heartless, mage, 'cuz those Returners'll provide quite an annoying bit of resistance should we attempt to take their precious gem!"
Kefka opened a Corridor with the flick of the wrist, and bowed. "After you..."[/glow]

Atticus nodded, sensing the darkness in Kefka's heart growing, not out of fear or sorrow, but out of sheer greed and hatred. That was just as good by him, and he'd gladly cultivate this darkness to his own ends, eventually. For now, it was best to allow Kefka his opportunity to get revenge, and perhaps persuade a few wayward "heroes" to join his happy family... Who knows? Maybe Kefka himself will accept that invitation in time...
"Very well..." Atticus whispered, nodding lightly as he began walking towards the corridor, unafraid of those swirling black masses. "You've been more than exemplary in your patience... I think it's time for a little venture on your behalf..."
The heartless stepped through the portal, leaving behind an enraged sea, and a breeding ground for his kind...
The world of Port Royal was, to put it mildly, in deep waters.
