Knocking on Death's Door

[Gabranth]

"That man is neither light nor dark. Neither good, nor evil. That man is a Nobody!"

Baffled as to what Ximar had said, he quickly thought neither good, nor evil. Confused yes, however he thought to himself, "Am I so different"

Gabranth, somewhat relieved that this "Nobody" Sai was not there to entise a fight. Stood at ease at Ximar's right hand, as a protector should. He stood and listened for information as to what Sai was after, and what these "Nobody" creatures were.

[Lilith]

Lilith skidded in next to the crying girl, her pistols spinning around her fingers.

"sorry I'm late, who are these clowns? its too bright I cant see the big one"

she wasn't breathing at all and her eyes were squinted, trying to make out the two opponents, she noticed Lexia was crying.

"want me to get her out of here?"

[Sai]

Sai lifted an eyebrow at Ximar's... introduction. "17?" he asked, seeming a tad confused. "Interesting... considering it was called Organization XIII because it never exceeded 13 members..." He tilted his head somewhat, then shrugged. "In any case, It is... a relief to hear not all were so stubborn as to meet their end..."

Just then, Lilith came charging in. Sai glanced to Gabranth, seeing if the man would take this... sudden action as a sign of hostility. Sai would wave his hand behind him in an attempt to cool the vampire down. "They're not enemies..." he said, mostly to Lilith, but it could easily be used for Gabranth and Ximar as well. "No need to be on edge..."

With that, he looked to Gabranth and Ximar once more, reaching into his coat to produce Keyblade Notes #13 once more. "I'm looking for information on the Keyblade. Have you seen any papers baring this handwriting?"

[Lilith]

Lilith nodded and holstered her guns

"fine..."

[Gabranth]

Gabranth having faith in Ximar's choice of friends stood content and at ease. After all, his brother had similar friends of unique feats as well.

Gabranth watching as this young girl came, had little to no concern over what this girl was. There were more pressing matters at hand. One for example, who this Organization XIII was and still, what was a Nobody. As to further entice the former leader of the Archadian 9th Bureau, Sai had pulled a paper from beneath his coat. This paper read "Keyblade Notes #13".

Newly reborn, and most certainly not on Archadian grounds any longer, Gabranth would glance to Sai. "My apologies Sai, after my dealings with a mad man, I'm a bit on edge as to what his deception might be. I refuse to be made a hound yet again. This world isn't my own. However I must find my place in it."

Gabranth glance around to his left looking to Ximar. "Ximar that green ... blur, who or what was that which came running past on me on the stairs? You must have seen it, yes?"

As Gabranth waited for answers, feeling a bit more relaxed, unlatched the lower part of his helm. A nice breeze would sooth the Judges face.

[ximar]

Ximar examined the Keyblade Note. "Yeah, I saw one. It said Number 4."

Ximar that green ... blur, who or what was that which came running past on me on the stairs? You must have seen it, yes?

He turned to Gabranth to respond to his question. "That green blur was a woman of great strength. She has caused me many injuries today."

[Leckseeuh]

[guess i'm a little late guys.]

Lexia stood up and wiped her eyes, staring at them both. Suddenly, in her hand within green light was her Goku - the same weapon she ripped a dead thorn off of to kill a fish. She looked at it and buffed off the scratch it had there, looking at Lilith. "I'll be fine. I'd help you guys anyday." She chuckled a little, then focusing her eyes on these seemingly harmless people, Ximar and Gabranth. She carefully looked at them both with her now yellowed eyes, some of the tears blocking her vision. She wiped her eyes again and continued to look at them, gripping onto Goku tighter and tighter.

[Gabranth]

Gabranth still holding his attention to Ximar. And in a calm more human voice, from releasing a strap on his helmet earlier. "This Green Girl, Does she have a name? She may be of some use to me in ridding myself of a recent nuisance I aquired."

Gabranth glances for just a moment, over at the girl holding some strange green thing (hmm looks like a moogle?) before stoping at Sai. "Sai, what of these "Keyblades", what sort of power to these hold, and whom can wield them?" As he says in a calm, yet very curious manner. At the sametime, he was thinking of his "deal" that was made earlier, and about his "nuisance." He was in the process of gathering his own information.

[Sai]

Sai glanced over to Gabranth, lifting an eyebrow at his curious method of speach. "Sir... you've made reference to one canine or another several times. Have I missed something vital?"

[it was notes #4, Ximar. Ya gotta start reading the posts more thoroughly]

Sai looked to Ximar, nodding. "I see... do you have it?" he asked before Gabranth spoke up again. Sai was inclined to share information, as he had just asked for some. Quid Pro Quo, so to say.

"The Keyblade is the only weapon capable of destroying the Heartless properly, rather than simply banish them back to darkness where they can reform. It possesses the ability also to undo any lock, and even unlock a heart from its dark prison... and reunite it with its true owner..." his hand lifted to his chest as he spoke, gently touching where a heart should be.

"As for who can wield them, why and how... I don't know fully. I don't know how they are created, nor how they can be used, but I am collecting these documents in order to discover the secrets... so we can create our own... and I can put an end to the sins I've committed through my own ignorance..." Sai tucked #13 into his coat once more and shook his head. "It is... a highly personal matter..."

With that, he looked behind him to the two girls. "My apologies... I've been terribly rude. My companions are Lexia and Lilith, both seeking the keyblade for reasons of their own..." He then stepped aside, looking to Ximar as he waited for information on Keyblade Notes #4...

[ximar]

(I fixed it.)
"Nice to meet you all." He wondered about why they sought the Keyblade, but decided not to ask. He noticed Sai looking at him and realized what he wanted. Ximar put rubbed his chin in thought, trying to recall the details of the note. "I think the note went something like this: 'Before any other information can be covered, it is important to list the qualifications that determine the difference between a Keyblade wielder and a Keyblade master. First of all, a wielder is here defined as anyone who can hold, use, and summon a Keyblade. A Keyblade wielder can use any kind of Keyblade, real or false. However, a Keyblade wielder cannot utilize a Keyblade’s higher functions. A Master on the other hand, can not only use a Keyblade as a weapon, but also use it to enhance their natural abilities, and delve into the functions of a Keyblade that a wielder cannot access. In short, all Keyblade Masters are Wielders, but not all Keyblade Wielders are Masters." He sighed. "That sounds about right.

[Gabranth]

As Gabranth listened about the Keyblades, he began to wonder of what use these weapons could possably hold for himself. Further more what were these heartless and nobody creatures?

Gabranth stood glanceing at Ximar and Sai, curious and baffled that these 2 standing here where void of a heart. Since his untimely end, this to Gabranth was unheard of. Further more, he has yet to see what a heartless was. Gabranth would utter something from beneath his helm. Then, looking at Sai, "If a nobody is void of emotion, such as yourself, does this not make you a heartless creature? Further more what do these heartless creatures look like?"

This would all be vital information for Gabranth's next objective, to search out this "Green Girl"

[Lilith]

Lilith was a bit uneasy, she wasn't used to company and to add to that diplomacy, she stood there watching everything in her peripheral vision stay completely stagnant, hoping for a bit of action, a heartless or an unsuspecting victim. her hands hovered over her holsters ready at any moment to draw and shoot at what ever she needed to.
she she was a bit shaky, beginning to get hungry again. she licked her lips in contemplation I have to find someone to drink from soon, I don't think I can control myself this time. ill should be okay for a while.

she flexed her body beyond what was possible at least for a human she was obviously uncomfortable, she felt like checking around the bellowing halls, or at least moving into the shadows where she belonged, but no she was in the open stuck listening to the ramblings of the dimwitted Executioner that didn't even know what a heartless was, she scoffed at the thought.

[Sai]

Sai nodded, memorizing the words to Keyblade Notes #4. "Little information to be had, yet still very enlightening..." With that, he glanced back to Lilith. He recognized the twitchiness she had from when she was hungry... and decided to take action. Last thing they needed was some mad action here and now. Walking over to her, Sai pulled up his sleeve and pulled off his glove.

He held his arm out to her, bare, with the vein facing her. You see, vampirism spreads as saliva hits the heart and circulates through the body. What does that mean when the heart is not present, hm? He might be a little light headed, but even if she took all 10 pints of his blood (not likely considering her height, weight, and demeanor), he'd very likely survive it. He turned his head to Gabranth as he spoke.

"Your observation is accurate. A Nobody in fact possesses no heart. Irony would have it that the Heartless, creatures born of the darkness in the heart of mankind, are the result of a heart engulfed in darkness. The husk it leaves behind, provided the will is strong, becomes a Nobody. My apologies if this is confusing."

He thought a moment, then looked to the doors leading up and out to the colosseum. He could hear commotion beyond. "It would seem a tournement has begun."

[ximar]

"Some Nobodies, such as Sai and myself are people who had strong enough wills to keep our original forms. Although this is very rare, as most people who lose their hearts in the first place are weak. Higher Nobodies have the power to summon and control the Lesser Nobodies and make them do whatever we want." He snapped his fingers and summoned a Dusk. "I was part of an Organization that sought to gain their hearts back. Sai apparently had some sort of connection to them. Our mission was to gather enough hearts to form Kingdom Hearts, the heart of all worlds. By using the power of Kingdom Hearts, we could regain our hearts and become whole again, instead of being less than nothing. We could feel all the wondrous emotions that have been lost to us. We would gain power unlike anything the world has seen, thanks to Kingdom Hearts."

[The Nobody Forces]

Out of nowhere, the Dusk appeared, swaying in it's normal motions. It awaited orders from the one who summoned it. Without orders, all it would do is stand there, swaying, and waiting. That was all it could do.
