[glow=purple,2,300]Maleficent left her place at the opening gates where Shego entered battle, and soon found herself on her way up to the executive box where inside Hades relaxed. She came up behind him, a bony, green hand resting on its back.
"Your arrogance and blissful ignorance intrigues me, Hades. I do hope that when the time comes for you to return to my side, I can at least hope for a little competence."
She stepped forward, well out of the god of death's vision of the arena, and stared down herself. She watched Shego fly through each battle, and she was proud to say that that girl was her apprentice. She thought back to how she had lost Riku, and how she never really even had Pete. Too incompetent.
Was she destined for only incompetent allies? Not anymore.
"Oh, and Hades...I do hope that you will honor the agreement you made with the girl, or else I will call upon the Right. And I'm sure you would like to shy out of any dealings with your dear brother, correct?"[/glow]

'This is Hercules?' thought the villainess, eying the half-god and his glow, 'kinda cute- smiles too much.' was her second thought.
The woman smirked, cracking her knuckles before starting a different fighting stance than before. She stretched her fingers, until she seemed to acquire claws. She was ready and eager to wipe that smile off his face. She inhaled deeply...slowly... thinking her actions through, and back up plans before launching forward.
"You are going down..." threatened Shego, nearly vanishing from sight at her speed. There was no reason to pull back now. Knock him down as fast as possible. That was her goal.
She appeared behind him, and rammed her fist into his back to render him stunned.... but the plan backfired, as soon as her fist, at that speed, made contact with his body- she felt something POP- but it wasn't his back, it was her WRIST. She yelped loudly, backing away to hold at her hand, and yelling profanities a moment until the tiny wrist bones popped back into place.
"CRUD--AH! GEEZ! What are ya' MADE of LEAD?!" she growled, flicking her wrist a little, waking it from its numb state. [/glow]

"Competence? Babe, you want competence, you oughtta stop using those Heartless things before you get a second helping of knife-in-the-back. They're nothing but trouble, I tell ya..." Hades grumbled. If it weren't for the fact that everything was going his way right now, he wouldn't have invited her up here. But, he DID want her to see what a well-worked scheme in the works looked like... and it started with Shego and Jerkules down below.
He was about to say more when Maleficent brought up the Right. He growled a bit at that. Stupid God law. You give your word, you're bound to it, no way out. It works both ways, really, because if you break your word with a god, you're in major league trouble. Still a lightning bolt in the butt wasn't exactly Hades' idea of a good time. "Hey, have I ever let you down? Never! She does her job, she'll get the goods, I promise you that!" Not that it didn't mean he couldn't cheat a little.
He looked to the fight again, then chuckled. "But from the looks of things... I doubt the wild green wonder down there'll even make it past the first three minutes with the Golden Boy. You sure know how to pick 'em, huh?"

Hercules turned around, seeing the girl had damaged her hand. "Oops. Sorry about that!" he said, trying to be a gentleman even though he was in a fight. "I don't want to hurt you, but Hero Rule #453 says that if a girl enters a battle I gotta treat her like everyone else!"
With that, Herc knealt down somewhat into a battle stance, then CHARGED forward with his head stretched out forward like a battering ram. Rule number 97, use your head.

[glow=purple,2,300]Maleficent nodded her head, staring down at her failing Shego.
"Yes, but if you recall my last apprentice, she nearly killed the boy. But due to some unforseen circumstances...you were left without victory." She grinned, and wondered why she started thinking about her now, of all times. She had noticed that the threads Beatrix was bound to were starting to tug again, but never did she think her former student would be so close.
"Hades..." she said, and simply vanished into a black pool.[/glow]

[glow=green,2,700]"Like everyone else, huh?" The green girl chuckled, stepping slightly to the side, like a Matador would do to a Bull to avoid the horns. Shego now knew that normal hits wouldn't work against him, but now that she was 'facing his back-side' and he was heading forward towards some barrels, it was the time for a little plasma ball up the butt, "That's fine by me, Muscles!"
The thief charged up a hand with green fire, and spectators thought the woman was spontaneously combusting, until she hurled a plasma ball against Muscle boy's back, hoping to add to his forward power, to launch him against the barrels at 'break-neck' speed.[/glow]

"Hey, I don't care WHO takes wonderboy down, but the prize goes to whoever pulls it off... As for minty-freshness down there... all she needs to do is come out on top of this tournement..." Hades smirked to Maleficent and looked to the arena again. When she disappeared, he merely flipped his hand uncaringly.
"Yeah, yeah, busy busy busy..." he muttered, then leaned forward. Looked like Shego had just figured out how to handle Herc the Jerk! Strong as a bull, yes... and about half as graceful. "YEAAH! THAT'S how it's done!"

Hercules' eyes widened as he saw the result of his charge. The Barrels came fast, and he crashed into them like a class A sucker. He flipped over, wood splintering everywhere. The head-rush caused him to drop his godly glow, becoming for all terms and purposes NORMAL.
And then the plasma blasts hit and sent him flying. Luckily, he was down before they hit, and they didn't make direct contact to him, but rather blew out the ground around him. Did this change that he took some nasty damage from it? Not a bit!
Getting up slowly, Hercules shook his head clear and got back to battle stance. "Hey! You're not half bad!" he said, then fired up his glow again, running forward with a heavy, aimed punch that could easily put a crater in the marble where Shego now was...

[glow=green,2,700]Shego, unlike Hercules, was fully human, but this didn't mean she was weak! She used strategy, and had found a weakness. Apparently, Hercules couldn't hold his weight in barrels. The moment he rushed with a fist was when a basic Martial Arts technique would come into play: use the enemies momentum against him!
The thief stood lightly on her side, grabbing the upcoming fist with one hand (suffering the breaking of the wrist bones yet again,) resting the other hand against his waist , hoisting him up above her head, thanks to his speed, and THROWING him into another set of barrels.
"CRUD!!" She grunted, the bones at her wrists painfully popping back into place, "DARN IT!" Shego growled, with her uninjured hand, throwing a plasma ball at his direction again, taking better aim this time, she would wait for the glow to vanish before striking-- trying to get him SOMEWHERE to finish this blasted fight.[/glow]

Lo and behold, Herc was dizzy again. The world had a funny way of spinning out of control whenever he was knocked for a loop. Apparently, for all his muscle, his head was as soft as anyone else's. Just as the barrels knocked him AGAIN, he tried to stand up.
"Woooaah, what hap-" and then the plasma nailed him in the face, knocking him backward onto the ground. The count was going...
1... 2... Hercules got back to his feet, shaking his head. Okay, apparently she was a bit TOO good. He couldn't hold back any more or the crowd would be really disappointed in him. So, he growled, charging up his godglow before LEAPING into the air.
"GET READY!" he called out, slamming into the center of the stage like a meteor and creating a golden shockwave in all directions around him. This attack did NASTY amounts of damage, and he didn't really like using it unless he knew someone could take it. Shego proved she was as tough as they came, so he went for it. After that, he grabbed his sword and started to spin like a top around the arena, attempting to take advantage of the disorientation of that super-attack the way Shego took advantage of his disorientation from getting knocked in the noggin' with barrels.

The little heartless called "Cuddles" was still watching from his hiding spot. He was beginning to get antsy, seeing Shego get hurt not once, but at least twice now. It would sneak a bit closer, unseen and unheard as it now stood behind one of the pillars at the four corners of the battle ground. It peeked around, out of sight of the crowd, in an attempt to keep a better eye on Shego.
It was odd the fondness this particular heartless had for her. How that came about was anybody's guess, but the simple fact of the matter was that it would protect her if it had to. The next time Shego was about to take a hit from Hercules (after the shockwave, of course), she'd feel the ground shift under her. Cuddles had snuck onto the field as a puddle of darkness and grabbed her foot to trip her, thus saving her a close haircut at the hands of Hercules' blade...
And who says these guys have no emotion?

The Nobody climbed the steps up into the colosseum courtyard. He could hear the booming crowd just beyond, in the main arena. He tilted his head somewhat as he overheard their cheers. Hercules. A man of legend and myth. Apparently, he was fighting someone of great skill, as they kept gasping and cheering. That wasn't really his main concern right now.
Looking around, Sai attempted to spot Gabranth, thinking he might know where the locker rooms were or something, someplace where he could wait for Hercules to leave the battle, so he could ask him some questions. Walking forward, his best bet was to get into the lobby area to begin with, start an investigation there...

[glow=green,2,700]1... 2... DARN IT, he got up!
The thief sighed a little, acquiring a fighting stance once more, and the thing she least expected happened, "Erh - what is he..." she wondered, seeing him go airborne, but she didn't appear to be the target, the ground was, and soon it would dawn upon her, it would be too late, and she would fall back from the blow of the strike. She even grew momentarily deaf, there would be a ringing of the ears as she staggered to her feet, regenerating.
The next thing she saw was what seemed a giant spinning, gold top heading her direction with a blade sticking out of it. She gasped, in disbelief-- She was frozen in place, the blade on neck level-- it could of chopped her head off!!
She suddenly felt a tug at her ankle, and it caused her to fall down, evading the blade completely. She snapped out of it, and continued to dodge the spinning Top of Death. Cuddles had come to her rescue, she felt it was him. She knew it. The thief looked upon her shadow in a moment of 'thank you' before snapping back into the game, more determined than EVER to finish it!
She grabbed a barrel, and waited until the bulk of muscles was close enough to use it. She allowed darkness to take over her feet, allowing her to jump higher than before. She also used the shadows to empower her throw as she hurled the barrel down upon the Demi-god's head! She finally used her enhanced speed, to appear bellow Hercules, charging up a black-plasma powered fist while he was in his daze!
"Like games?! I'll show you games!" with that, she jumped upward, nailing him in the JAW with her enhanced plasma-powered uppercut, shouting a loud familiar, though unfamiliar battle cry to this world, "SHORYUKEN!!!"
Hah... Shoryuken... I'm such a closet nerd... ughk...
Ouch! There was a heavy feeling at her heart again, tugging at it's strings. She cleared her throat a little, feeling an adrenaline rush... but that pain would slowly... leave. She showed no sign of outer weakness. [/glow]

Ximar followed close behind Sai, keeping a look out for danger, and familiar faces. He had been here a few times before, but not enough to know everything about it. The clashes of battles going on were intense. "There must be a fierce battle going on, huh Sai?" He noticed all the trophies on the wall. There sure were a lot. He wondered if they held anything, but decided against taking any.

As Gabranth was opening the doors of the Colosseum, he could see a violent battle waging. As the doors opened he witnessed Hercules and Shego going at it quiet fierce.
Gabranth, wasn't one to stand around and wait for the fight to be over, being a Judge Magister he was more straight to the point than most people. Chaos and Highway Star held out to his sides, steps through the door and out into the arena.
As he approached a few steps in, still in the doorway, he could see bits of devastation around, and what appeared to be a small crater in the center of the ring. Look abouts in the crowd he could see Hades conversing with a very menacing looking lady. Unsure of her part in these heartless and nobody creatures, his main goal was to deal with Hades and rid himself of ties to him.
Gabranth would take a few steps forward. He could obviously tell who is target was. His swords began to glow again with an orange energy glow that looked like flame. Considering what he's noticed so far, muttering to himself, "Looks as though I have choice but to fight." Knowing he needed Hercules to help him with Hades, he didn't want to chance Hercules would lose. Announcing himself in that antagonizing manner of his ... "Girl! A Judge Magister stands before you!" He ready-ed himself for an Executioners stance. He's feet would grind into the arenas shifted sands ready to charge. "NOW COME AT ME!"
