Atticus the Fallen vs EVERYBODY Rules: All players are at current level, as of Wednesday May 19th, 2010. Each player is permitted ONE full-heal item and ONE return to life at half health item. They can be shared or traded, but it must be RP'd out that they change hands. If you flee from the area, you lose. If you DIE, you lose. If you are converted to a Heartless, you are classified as having switched sides and you only lose if Atticus loses. Atticus will continue until completely defeated and will not stop until all hearts are converted, killed, or escaped. He has access to all five of his Endboss Forms, thus why everyone is permitted to attack. Location: The World that Never Was, Memory's Skyscraper. For motivation's sake... let's just say this is what could happen if NO ONE discovered how to make a keyblade... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The dark night sky opened up in a torrential downfall. Darkness was illuminated only momentarily by a flash of bright lightning, and the ever-looming presence of the partially destroyed Heart Moon in the distance. High above the city's neon streets, a dark figure stood at the tip-top of the skyscraper's lightning rod, his wings spread dangerously and his arms crossed. Yellow eyes peering from under a tattered mage's cap. He saw all in the darkness... this was his element... and they would not survive the night with their hearts intact... "Come then..." his voice echoed throughout the world on the edge of the inky black oblivion. "Let us end this..."

The small white mage from Midgar stood nearby, gripping her staff tightly as she looked up at the monster on high. She gulped lightly and got ready for a fight to end all fights. "Are we ready for this??" she squeaked, fearing at her limited magic wouldn't be enough to really help much if this thing could inflict massive damage.
"I mean... running is an option, right?"

"Only two?" Atticus asked as he jumped from the spire, slowly flitting downward as the rain around him cascaded. His wings caught the air and made his descent as graceful and terrifying as any well-known Final Fantasy villain. His feet touched the ground, and he looked up at the two of them, stretching a hand out as he spoke.
"Such a shame... your friends are not here to witness your final fall..." With that, a massive wave of dark energy emitted from his palm, producing a tunnel of swirling black that covered the street and was as high as it was wide. The intent was to force-feed the darkness into their hearts, convert them, or at the very least slow them down...

Lilith cringed as the darkness stuck her heart, she fell to her knees.
"if there's one thing I've discovered from this escapade"
she slowly stood up
"its that I'm stronger in the darkness!"
Lilith ran towards the Fallen hailing him with fully automatic fire until she was close enough to punch her hand through his chest

Atticus waved a hand when he saw her take aim, creating a corridor of darkness right in front of him. The bullets would never reach him, instead being transported who-knows-where into the universe. As she charged and attempted to slam her hand into his chest, he simply turned his form slightly to the side, allowing it to pass harmlessly in front of him. He grabbed her arm and her neck in a skilled martial arts grip that prevented the use of her guns and gave him control of her momentum.
He wouldn't waste it... He SLAMMED her forward into the corridor, HOLDING her by the neck like one attempting to drown another in a pool of water. Except, instead of liquid... it was darkness itself...
"Prove it..." he muttered as if this was the most normal thing in the world to be doing. It was just business as usual to him... "Show me the strength of your heart..."

"ok then" Lilith twisted her body around, a move that would be impossible for a human and kicked Atticus several times in the head. then to break his grasp she bent her legs around and pushed against the arm holding her neck, it broke the fallen's grip but also broke her neck in the process. she flipped back to her original spot and put her head back in place. "so why bother trying to 'drown me in darkness' why don't you actually fight me? huh? or are you just that weak? so weak that you have to use corridors to fight for you? that you cant do your own dirty work?"

The Fallen released his grip as the woman began to twist herself so violently. After all, what good was damaged goods? He took a step back, waving a hand to dissipate the corridor as she got herself free. A little tilt of his neck emitted a loud crack, the extent of the damage her little antic had caused. With that, he held a hand out to her, as if in FRIENDSHIP! However, the air around Lilith would begin to feel... staticy.
"Why kill what can join our family?" he said simply, explaining his actions. "A heart is a terrible thing to waste... but if I have no option but to break it..." he clenched his fist tightly here, causing a massive eruption of downfalling lightning mingled with darkness, the perfect blend of blinding light and searing darkness. The blast was approximately ten feet in diameter, suggesting a GIANT lighting strike. The sound was deafening, a cacaphony of atoms ripping themselves apart in the wake of this atmospheric discharge. It had the power to strip the flesh from the bone and cook whatever was left...
If she survived, Atticus would be SOMEWHAT impressed. He lowered his hand, watching as the smoke cleared to see what effect his attack had... and yet he would not be caught off guard. The darkness all around provided him with the senses he needed to see all the battlefield at all times. Simply put... if she somehow managed to survive... she would NOT catch him by suprise...

Lilith was forced to the floor, the light searing her skin and the darkness piercing her heart. her limp lifeless body sprawled on the floor, a faint giggle could be heard as darkness crackled over her body, she was slowly consumed in her week state, her giggle changing into a full on maniacal laugh, her body still not moving. "honey..." she looked up at Atticus "... I'm home!"

Atticus slowly walked over to the broken body of Lilith, listening to her laughter. By her words, she had accepted the darkness, and was willing to convert. So, as he looked down upon her, he held up a clawed hand, covered in a dark substance that could only be described as THE darkness...
"Shadow be praised..." he muttered, then THRUST his hand downward into the chest of Lilith, gripping her heart easily and engulfing it in so much darkness it was beginning to become totally enveloped. As he slowly removed it from the broken vessel beneath him, he spoke again. "Rejoice... for you are one of us now..."
Provided she didn't stop this on her own... Atticus had brought into the world another strong heartless, one of free will and thought. He looked up and down her appraisingly as the body (again, assumptions) dissolved to be reformed near the twilight as a Nobody. "Welcome home... Lilith.."

The initial attack on the white mage had left her crippled. She was weak against the dark, so things like that blast that was intended to FORCE its way into her heart were deadly to her. She fell to her knees, gripping at her chest and panting as she tried to focus... tried to employ the white magics she had learned.
"Light help me... Please..." she whispered, allowing the soft glow of her own heart to slowly extinguish the choking black that attempted to swallow her up entirely. By the time she was finally free of the dark grip... and her eyes had come back into focus... she looked up to see that Lilith had already fallen to the evil Atticus.
"NO!" she cried out, jumping up and grabbing her staff. She fan forward, spinning the length of metal in her hands to give it momentum. "HOW DARE YOU POLLUTE A PURE HEART?!" she cried out, then whipped the business end of her weapon directly at the Fallen's head!

A person who appeared to look a lot like Lilith appeared and blocked the attack on her master, the figure looked dark, twisted as a crimson black haze surrounded her lower half, the vampire/heartless' skin was a dark grey and her eyes a bright red, she wore a similar corset to her past figure but it was smaller and tighter, a heartless symbol appeared to be stitched into her chest disappearing beneath her clothes, her lower torso was visible as well as the very top of a long cape like thing attached to a torn skirt. her hair was short and spiky and her face had a maniacal smile strewn across it. "stupid girl, you aren't very aware of your surroundings are you?" her voice was of a higher pitch and her words were slow to produce and obviously deliberated over. she pulled a pistol out of the mist surrounding her legs and put it up against the girls chest. "shall I pull the trigger my master, I'm sure she will be easy to convert with internal bleeding and a collapsed lung..." the hybrid tilted her head and stared into her victims eyes.

Abigail gasped, being lifted off her feet was a bit of a shock, especially from Lilith! "What... did he do to you?" she whispered, but when she realized this thing was NOT the woman that started the battle, she had almost no options left! She shivered a moment, scared, but she had to think fast!
"HEAL!" she screamed, smacking the woman's face with her rod. It wouldn't HURT her, not by any means, but the bright flash of a white magic move should be enough to disorient the dark one, allowing her to fall free of her grasp and run off. She ran as fast as possible, running into a nearby building and catching her breath there.
"Lilith... I'm so sorry..." she whispered, trying to think what to do next...

[glow=green,2,800].... there was a light tap against Lilith's back... a shadow had appeared there behind her, but had said nothing. Glowing green eyes would pierce the darkness. Whatever it was leaned forward enough to reveal Maleficent's apprentice, starring into Lilith's eyes.
" Hey...." Shego chuckled, her pupils dilating, a psychotic smile inching it's way on her face, "Peek a' boo."
With that, the woman went airborne, and in mid air, slammed her heel into the vampires face, hopefully knocking her unconscious, but DEFINITELY sending her airborne and through a window! The thief would cross her arms, looking toward the white mage with a raised eyebrow, "Huh... oh wait, you're not Kimmy." Shego pouted, reaching up to scratch a little at her cheek, " Never mind." she muttered, waving a hand dismissively and leaving the room to go outside, wondering what the hub bub was about. She seemed a little lost on what was happening.[/glow]
