Running, and lashing… blocking, and defending, and slicing through the war grounds again; countless numbers of enemies before them, and then were the Zodiac Beasts!
“Charge” would cry a familiar voice, and once again it was forward to battle. Apanda, Byblos, Velius, Zalera, Elidibs and the other demons known as the Lucavi stood in the way of her, Ultima, the archangel, and in the way of the objective, The Princess. With eyes heavy, and strong will, The Holy Knight would march on forward with her comrades… …
…
… but for what?
Covered in sweat, blood of herself, and of others, the ground caved bellow them, and they were plunged into the darkness of time. Did they die? Were they reborn, or lost? History does not have explanation of their disappearance, and in the end, it never really matters. They were now a fairytale.
Agrias stood there, by the Church remains, starring and wondering where Ovelia was… she looked at a nearby newsletter, and the date specified it was the Queen’s Birthday. Wait a minute, the Queen? She was never able to witness the coronation. She shouldn’t be here, but she continued to walk forward, hearing voices a few feet away from the worn down coble stone.
“You used everybody like that!” She heard a sweet voice, grieving- It was the prin- Queen! The knight felt her body lunge forward, but it was almost as if running in place, and she heard the voice again, “Now you’ll kill me… just like Agr-… like Ramza!” When she was able to catch a glimpse of Ovelia, she stumbled upon a gruesome sight. Delita stood over her dying body… the knight was too late. She couldn’t feel her legs, she stood there like an idiot, watching the “King” limp away. When he was gone, was when she could move again, and she dashed over to the Queen, crying, shivering…
“LADY OVELIA—“ She yelled, picking up the woman’s body in her arms, “LADY O--…”
…she gasped, shaking her head in disbelief…
… this was not Ovelia…
…this was…
Agrias’ eyes widened, as she found herself holding a bloody Beatrix, her blue eye dimming with every passing moment. She looked up to the knight, with a tear rolling down her working eye. “A-…Agrias…” The chestnut haired woman would cry, “Why did you do this to me…?? This is… all… your fault…!”
The knight would wake in a cold sweat at this, startled by her nightmare, she would hold at herself, shooting up in a sitting position. She screamed quietly, her eyes wide, and hiding behind her hands. She would take a moment to calm herself and her heart…
“G-God..” she would whisper, resting a hand now over her lips, breathing heavily and feeling nauseous, “ … God.” The blond woman stayed there on the bed, holding at her chest, and trying to make sense of things. Guilt rushing through her restless mind, and feeling horrible with every passing second. It was her fault after all… she was too determined, but too incompetent. It was her idea to go off and die in battle, and leave the princess to be killed by the very man she left her in charge with!
‘ Tis my fault that Beatrix is… suffering!’ There was a pause. ‘I cause her suffering with my incompetence…’ Agrias gripped tightly at her chest, the leather of her gloves stretching, “ … I shame the title of Legendary Knight… I am not worthy to be known with such praise!”
Agrias moved her body to come to a sitting position on the bed, her legs hanging out to touch the floor. The knight finally looked around to see she was alone, and connected to machines that kept beeping at her. She would lean close to look at them curiously, and then looking down at her arms that had a needle going in… She blinked and took it out, and suddenly, the machines started to beep. She reached over and poked at a blinking button, which turned the machine off… thankfully.
The knight got up, somewhat wobbly, and held at her head… it was so dark in here. What time was it…? She only remembered…
Another pause…
… Ovelia.
Agrias walked over to the nearest window, looked out, and clasped her hands together, gripping them tightly, she would pray… for the Queen’s spirit to find peace, and for some guidance. When that was said and done, she tightened the strangely loose clothing she had, and noticed her armor was missing- she felt light, and she didn’t care to look for it… she didn’t want to wear it.
Her brown eyes looked down at the damaged floor, blinking once and remembering: “The ship is damaged…” she sighed, reaching down to get some pieces of broken wood off the floor, “ … surely I am to blame as well…” she sighed again, and began to clean the very room- holding out large pieces of debris to one side as waste, and another pile for usable parts. When she was done there, she went outside, noticing the damage of the hallways… and set off to work on them as well. A distant look in her eyes…

It was a quiet night, and it was a peaceful one as well... in Hyperspace. Maara sighed, having the dull job of checking the halls, even though it was OBVIOUS nothing strange would happen. She reached up to cover her mouth, yawning against her palm and turning a corner, only to squeak and hide behind it once more...watching.
"Miss Agrias?" she asked herself, a raised eyebrow under her helm and visor, "What is she doing up??"
She was watching the recovering knight work on the ship, and pulling and tugging on heavy objects that would usually take 4 of the soldiers to pick at once. She slowly reached for a nearby Soldier, and pointed at the working woman. She was clueless as what to do...
"Ok..." she whispered, "Should we get Abigail, since she's her doctor... or Beatrix... which one would give her the least nagging?"
The other soldier would gulp a little, "Comparing Healer and General? I don't' know... I mean, General Beatrix would show her no mercy, is Miss Abigail the same way?"
"I don't know! I'm stumped!" they sighed, watching the girl move things still. Maara moved forward, and started helping the Holy one move things... strange how she wasn't talking to her... She seemed rather distant-- was she even noticing the Soldier assisting?
...The other soldier joined up too, and the three of them started to clean up the deck.

Lilith clutched her stomach, the blood loss from the crash and the fighting had suddenly taken its toll and she had lost control... again. "okay... need blood... I should find Sai... like now" she stood up slowly, her knees were shaking and her eyes had lost their crimson hue. she supported herself on crates as she lumbered towards the door. "hungrryy..." her words trailed on as she moved from step to step. she reached the door and smelled out for Sai... "dammit... I can barely smell him through all of this..." she continued on in the vain hope of no one coming across her.

"Even if I cannot... I will have gathered the notes, and can pass the information into the hands of one who can. In return, I would ask that they champion my cause..."
[glow=red,2,300]"Mmm-hm, that is a bright consideration, indeed. Though there has been no Keyblade Wielder in some time..." but then she remembered that slight tug the Blackheart inside felt one day. A Bearer had emerged, but then, recently, faded. She shrugged again.
"and yes, searching out Daphne would be wise. Like I said, she is the most knowledgeable of us here on the ship."
She watched him collect both Notes and book and nodded her head to his statement. "You're absolutely right, Sai: one of these notes is a fake. I received it a while back and looked it over. You'll just have to try determining which of them is the fraud."
And when he was ready to leave, she stood up and leaned over the desk, her arm outstretched to shake his hand.
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Sai. I do hope that accomodations onboard will continue to be exemplary." She smiled, and looked over the next name on her list. "Could you please find a...miss Lilith, and send her here?"[/glow]

Abigail pushed open the door leading to the room where Lilith had hidden herself. She had been guided here by several soldiers who had seen the vampire, and was looking to talk to the woman. Little did she know, she was now in the presence of a hungry, hungry vampire.
She was on the opposite side as Lilith, and she couldn't see the woman at the other door because of the large crates blocking her view. The room was terribly dark, but that wasn't at all suprising...She didn't want to make the woman uncomfortable by turning the lights up, so instead she picked up a nearby rock.
"Light guide me as I go, with rock of heavenly... GLOW" she whispered, casting Light on the small object. It instantly began to illuminate brightly, giving Abigail a small circle of light in which she could see. Beyond it, she only saw blocky shapes and total black. She looked around, trying to find out where the other woman was...
"Lilith? Are you in here, sweetheart?" she asked, her voice echoing in the large room...
She didn't know that she was in a great amount of danger...

=thump thump THUMP THUMP THUMP!!= There came massive footsteps etching closer to the white mage, until suddenly, "WARK!"
A birds head would appear within the circle of light, it was the ever-so-curious Boco. His head would tilt odd ways, his beady blue eyes gleeming with joy at the presence of... someone else! A new face!
He reached down, bending its neck to peck and play happily at the girls black hair, "Kewww ke kwee!" it would cheer, flapping his flightless wings once before calming down.

The Soldiers, most of them asleep or on patrol, worked for General Beatrix, so they were obviously always alert. Those who patrolled, though they wore armor, made very little sound as they walked on, usually three to a patrol.
A particular group of women were down in the lower cargo hold, torches in hand, searching around like usual. They spotted Abby in the distance, over in the western corner of the hold, and went to the east side. they split up, each taking their own rows through a labyrinth of crates, supplies and other stowed away luggage.

Up on the bridge Ellis leaned on the helm, her eyelids growing heavy. she yawned, covering her mouth with the armored back of her gloved hand. She stared out over the front end of the ship, and then looked to speak to the navigators.
"How much farther until we reach Prince Adam's Castle, do you know?" she asked, and yawned once more. She turned the large wheel slightly, the ship rocking out of the way of a large gummi block just floating in space.
The navigator Sylvia pounded in some numbers and scrolled over bars on a screen before her before answering.
"We should reach the world by dawn--on at the castle, of course--and we'll look for a place to land."
"Yes, yes. That is all well and good," said Ellis, still watching the vastness of Hyperspace. "But I think that General Beatrix wishes to disembark with herself and the two Sisters before we land; it would be rude to just land, as if in an invasion. We haven't been properly invited yet."
"Very true. We're several miles away, but maybe we should seek out the general? You look tired."
"Nonsense...I can keep this up. I'm--" she yawned for a third time, and accidentally turned the helm too much. It rocked violently once until she restabilized. "I, um...that is to say, yes. Maybe someone should find her..."
"Very well," said Sylvia. She stood from her computer and walked by Ellis, giving her the Alexandrian salute before proceeding off the bridge.

Daphne had tried sleeping, but all her thoughts were on the Notes, the legends, and the Nobody Sai. Not too long ago she herself was compared to a Nobody, mostly because she was very plain. Well, that was until she was presented with some new, interesting bits of information.
She sat up slightly in her top bunk and looked below to see the sleeping Maria. She climbed down slowly and quietly, so as not to wake her up. She left the soldiers' quarters and headed to the lab, to get started again on the work she had been doing much earlier. She sat at her computer and opened the saved file, and looked it all over.
"I must have something new to present Sai when he comes to see me next...will he come to see me again? I hope so..."

A few hours passed and Maara, and a few other soldiers that decided to help Agrias clean the place were exhausted.
"Damn!" The wheezing soldiers would remark, watching Agrias still pull heavy crates here and there without looking tired or mentioning a word, "She won't stop-- We should... really tell some one. Like... this can't be good for her health.."
"This isn't good for MY health" A different soldier would reply, "WHEW!"
"Yes, I think we should try and get Miss Abigail..." panted the next one, getting up and dusting herself off before marching away. Maara and the others would continue to watch Agrias, trying to speak to her, but she was off in her own world, it seemed. Agrias was hammering away and sawing away, making new pieces to fit int he holes and cracks of the Red Rose... she was sweaty, and dirty from the rubble and the burnt wood, and still, she continued, first moping and letting the place dry before repainting.
The girls would look at each other worriedly, "She isn't thinking of fixing the entire ship like this is she??" asked one, the others would attempt to stop her again, but she was unresponsive to them. A fearful question growing in mind: Should they tell the General?

Abigail gasped audibly when the giant bird appeared. She jumped a little and even dropped the glowing rock in her hand. She held a hand over her heart and breathed a few times, allowing the large thing to pick at her hair a little before she reached up and stroked the Chocobo's beak lightly.
"Oohh... you frightened me!" she said to the thing, smiling lightly. She stroked the Chocobo's beak once more before knealing down to pick up the stone and hold it up so she could look around once more. "Do you know where Lil-"
A noise! Two noises, in fact. Footsteps in the dark, belonging to who knows whom! She could see some illumination over the crates, but that didn't change the fact that she was somewhat frightened. She backed a little into Boco, holding her rock in front of her. "Wh-who's there??" she called out, hoping her small, squeak of a voice carried in this large room and got their attention enough for them to respond...

Melanie, Sharon and Linda heard the call from the white mage and stopped in their tracks. They regrouped at the exit of the maze, having traversed this many, many times.
"Lady Abigail?" called out the leader of their group Linda, and proceeded cautiously over to where they last saw the girl, the two others following behind. "This is Linda Marrow, one of the General's subordinates...? Is everything all right?"

lilith stumbled into boco and supported herself on his saddle. "hungry..." she sniffed the air and smelt the three woman near her. "hungry?" she looked at Abigail. "hungry!" she slowly shuffled towards the mage, tears rolling out of her eyes. "hungrrrryyyy..."

Boco, who had never seen this side of Lilith before, bend his neck downward to brush his head to the side of her face, "K-kwhee.." he would sound worriedly, brushing her tears away with his feathers. He would flap his wings a little, somewhat confused by the scenario of a shufflig vampire, etching her way closer to the mage...
"kew kew kwee?" he would ask, trying to support Lilith a little with his head, resting it at her tummy to help her stay up, "Kwhee?" His beady blue eyes starred a little at the mage, wondering if she had the girl's food with her, but saw none...

Alene, one of the many Alexandrian Knights, would dash around, stumbling into the white mages room to find it empty, "Ah! Not here!" she whined, reaching up to rub a little at her head, wondering where she could be, "No good!" She turned and left off to search the halls and other rooms.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maara would try and reach for Agrias, trying to have her stopped, but to no avail... a moment or so later, the knight had cleaned, patched up, and repainted a good portion of the main deck before going off t the next hallway to inspect the damage.
"Great Alexander! May you PLEASE stop, Miss Agrias??" she would plead, "You are going to injure yourself, and you already look like you are in bad shape! Please, just rest??"
The knight would stop a moment, and turn to look at her, eyes distant still, "... Rest when so much needs to be done...?" she finally spoke in that soft British accent of hers.
Maara blushed a little, reaching up to rub a little at her helm, "Ah, Y-yeah! What good are we if we don't rest every once in a while??" she reached up for the woman's arm, who dropped the large piece of debris. "C-come... why don't you relax for a little bit? Take a five minute break down by the pool??" she tugged on her a little, and the knight began to follow, like a doll, " M-Miss Agrias... come with us."
Some of the soldiers began to wonder if she suffered some sort of mental damage with the incident. The one who had her, along with two other soldiers Lenn and Ria followed, trying to help, "S-so..." Lenn would begin, " W-wow, you can really pick up all those large pieces by yourself, Miss Agrias, we couldn't even do it with a group, your muscles must be aching!"
"No... they've dealt with worse...'tis no trouble." The knight spoke quietly, her gaze lowered.
"W-well, I would like to hear of your training!" Ria would add, "Of course, after we all have had a break! We could work on the--uuh, Starboard side afterward, what do you say?"
"...Of course." she spoke softly again, "as you wish."
The Alexandrian soldiers grew quiet-- They didn't mean it as a command... but, didn't say anything about it. Maara would frown a little and was convinced it was time to get the General. She motioned for Ria to go get her, and then meet her at the bottom of the ship-- the pool section.
The three began to descend to the lower decks, passing the cargo hold to hear some commotion inside. Maara stopped and looked toward the door...
'hungry.... hungry...? ..... huuuuunngrryyyyy' they heard.
"What the hell?" spoke Alana, meeting up with them, "Did you guys hear that?"
Agrias looked to the side toward the door now, sighing and walking over to open the door, to look in. It was dark in there... Maara and Alana looked in. They saw a glowing stone a bit away, along with Boco holding up a starving Lilith, and then... Abigail.
"What's going on in here?" Maara would ask out loud, "Everything alright?"
Agrias continued to watch... slowly adding what was happening, before walking forward. The other soldiers swallowed a little before going in.
------------------------------------------------------------
Now it was Ria's turn to look about and knock on the General's door, giving a nervous gulp, "General Beatrix!" she tried to speak strongly, awaiting for the command to enter, or for the Alexandrian leader to come out of her room...

Abigail sighed softly when she heard the voices of the soldiers. She smiled to Boco before calling out. "I'm over here!" She picked up her glowing rock and held it up, signalling them over. When they arrived, she smiled and greeted them. "I was in here looking for Lilth. Have either of you-"
And just then, as though answering what she had to ask, the woman appeared, complaining of hunger. Abigail had guessed earlier based on the way Agrias' armor had injured her what she was, and her hungry was a dangerous thing! She gasped, seeing Boco help her, but held a hand out to the soldiers before they could rush to her side.
"Stay back!" she said, trying to protect them. "This needs to be handled delicately. She's a vampire, and her being hungry means she's seeking blood!" She pointed to one of the two, giving her a serious look. "You. Run ahead and get Dr. Leis. Tell her I need some of the spare blood from the cabinet. Fast. And have her shut the lights out in the Medical Wing! You!" she pointed to the other, then closed her eyes.
"The light of protection, the gift of St. Maria, I bestow upon you... DIA!" she chanted, causing an aura of protection over the soldier. "She shouldnt' be able to bite you now. Help me here!" she then went to Lilith's side, throwing the vampire's arm over her shoulder to help her up. "Let's get you to the hospital wing..."

Once again, Lady Abigail proved to be a strong leader, giving logical orders, and sending soldiers off here and there to aid Lilith. She gave a small smile, and she slowly backed away towards the hallways... everything was in control here, and she was clearly not needed.
Maara saw the knight leave, and she followed while the others stayed behind to help the Vampire. She couldn't let the woman out of her side, in case she did anything wreckless!
'tap tap tap tap' sounded the knight's boots quietly onto the floors she was able to fix, heading down to the showers after seeing what a mess she appeared to be. Her hair messy and her clothes painted upon and charred from the debris. She, with her clothes still on, hopped into the showers and ran the water cold to stand there under the water's presense. Letting the icy liquid hit against her form, getting soaked. She starred again into the nothingness, held her hands together, and closed her eyes as if praying.
Maara watched her from the door, uncertain of what she could do... the girl reached up to rest a hand on her own cheek in wonder, 'Is she... punishing herself?'
