The Skies Above Nowhere

[ximar]

Ximar tried to increase the gravity around the other ships, trying to crash them, or cause their hulls to break open. He began to sweat. The strain this was causing him was enormous. "Come on. Come on. Work!" Finally, one of the ship's hulls began to strain, tearing open from the increased gravity. Ximar dropped to his knees. He panted, trying to regain his breath. "One down...too many left."

[General Beatrix]

[glow=red,2,300]She took to the many halls of Castle Naught, scaling high sets of spiraling grand staircases, leaping across balconies, and climbing up walls.

They were somewhere around here, that's for sure. The orbs in which they use to telepod came into the castle, and they were on the hunt to find their leader.

To make things easier she called out: "Lady Agrias! Miss Abigail! I am here!"

She stopped at intervals to repeat her call, and then continued on, hoping to find them quickly.[/glow]

[Lilith]

"OK Boco, head for Agrias "
Lilith clicked the safety off and shot into the hordes of heartless and nobodies, the bullets would fly though the air striking the targets with pinpoint accuracy the bullets would shatter within their targets sending shrapnel coursing through the body of the unfortunate victim.

[ximar]

After a few minutes of regaining his strength, Ximar stood up. "Sai, I'm heading down there. I'll be more helpful there. I know this castle very well." He summoned a Corridor of Darkness and ran to where the others where, appearing next to Lillith. "Hey there." He blasted away a few Heartless and Nobodies. "Need some help?"

[Agrias Oaks]

The knight walked a few paces forward until she felt an odd, hot sensation crackling the air around them. She gasped and turned, pointing her sword at the soldiers, " BRACE!!" She would call out, looking about quickly for some sort of solution... until she found one. A water pipe! Adrenaline rushed through her veins, and everything seemed to move slow-like for a moment.

She sliced at the pipe ONCE, and the water would pour out in waves-- she would take the opportunity to chant her call quickly!

"Life is short…Bury!" Her voice echoed, her sword glowing a bright light as she 'pierced the water with it, " Steady Sword!" As soon as she called the command, the sword gave a valiant cry, and froze the water in front of them, creating an Ice shield! Time seemed to return to normal, and even with the Ice Shield just made, it would shatter from the electric force. Thankfully none would be harmed!

When the threat of lightning was over, she picked up her sword from the broken ice pieces, and pointed it at the "Black Waltz," her eyes strong with determination, glowing a soft amber, "Thou shalt naught meddle with my troupe, Dark Mage! For doing so, and thoust meddles with me. Step aside." - The sword would give out a bright light, seeming to warn the being in front of him, " We are here to retrieve Beatrix from your dark clutches, and we shall do such!"

[Agrias Oaks]

Boco the chocobo would flail this way and that, stomping on the Heartless that came across his path.

"OK Boco, head for Agrias "

He would hear, but wouldn't comply, being too high to fly there, and too big to fit in one of those Telepods with the soldiers that needed it open for emergencies. The bird would run around wild, trying to take care of the ones on the ship. He felt to trust Agrias' power. "Wark Kwee!!" the yellow creature would flail a little, a large body about to ram them.

[Lilith]

Lilith jumped in-front of the large body and flipped a pistol around so she was holding the slide, she braced a leg behind her and put all her strength into this one pistol whip.
the handle of the gun struck the large body with tremendous force throwing it off to the side, it bowled through the hordes attacking the ship.
she turned to the chocobo.
"defend the ship I'm going after Agrias"
Lilith rolled her shoulder and ran to the side off the ship that she proceeded to jump off.
"wha hoo!"

[Agrias Oaks]

Boco would stare down where Lilith jumped, leaving off a soft and sad 'kwhee...' before it turned around to stomp on more heartless. "WARK!" it would shout, a an Alexandrian soldier mounting him, so he knew where to go.

"Let's get them Boco!" shouted the knight, apparently one of his many caretakers!

"KWHEE!!"

[Shego]

[glow=green,2,800]Shego would remain on the castle roof, giving order to Dusks here and there, seeming to connect with them the most. She would tell them to defend the backs of the heartless, and tell them when to strike. The thief was playing a tactical chess game with the soldiers, and the large bird.

She watched a certain part of the ship, her eyes narrowing to see the boy she had fought earlier in the day, tired and exhausted. She grinned, and sent about oh... 20 Dusks his way.

"Oh, what's this?" She would ask, a glitter catching her eye, "guns?" It was the vampire girl. Shego stood there, her arms crossed as she watched her fall, grinning... maybe she was going to get her hands dirty. [/glow]

[Lilith]

Lilith spread her arms and lent forward, she rode the air towards the castle she looked it over noticing a girl on the roof she stared at her, she couldn't be a friendly and she looked human which meant she was powerful.
"oh something interesting"
she aimed her self at this new figure trying to gain as much speed as possible.

[Shego]

[glow=green,2,800]The thief moved out of the way, certain the Vampire was going to land at a certain spot and she simply stood there, not showing what she could do still. She knew from the altitude that the girl had to be some superhuman being if she survived, so she awaited to see what it was.

Her emerald eyes watched the girl, a soft smile etching on her lips, looking... happy? But she was going for the evil look, "You should be careful there. Jumps like that are bound to wear off your knee caps." [/glow]

[Lilith]

Lilith landed into a roll and leaped to her feet.
"hello there... ah knees don't worry..."
she cocked her head at a weird angle and a grin grew across one side of her face.
"...they'll grow back"

[Atticus the Fallen]

As the smoke cleared from the explosion of electricity and ice, Agrias would find herself toe-to-toe with the spellcaster, his chest mere inches from the point of her blade. It seemed that he wasn't at all frightened by her, much less her threats to move. Leaning in, his eyes narrowed at her, the darkness pressing in on the group as though it were a living thing, ready to take them at any given moment.

"Interfere, Agrias Oakes? Now why would I do that?" Just then, all the soldiers behind Agrias would begin to sink into the floor. He had opened corridors just under their feet, pulling them into the darkness. The momentary distraction would be all he needed to lift a hand and SLAM his arm into the woman's head, knocking her sideways into the wall. His strength was amazing, his gesture barely more than a flick by looking at him.

He looked down at her, then glanced to the soldiers struggling against the portals. "They have two minutes. You should make it count..." he warned, his head cocking very slightly in her direction before tilting back somewhat as though indicating where she should direct her attention...

A call in the dark. Beatrix's voice.

"But I wonder... if you've really thought this through..." he added cryptically...

[Shego]

[glow=green,2,800]"Funny," Shego guessed, her arms remaining crossed as she saw her, " You don't look like a Good guy. Your dress style seems too... plain."

The nobody tilted her head to the side, examing the girl over, "Oh, I like your guns, by the way, but don't think they'll help any with me, if you plan on using them. You'll just waste bullets." [/glow]

[Abigail Crescentlight]

Abigail had done her part well for the most part. She had stayed in the center, healing as needed just as Agrias had ordered. When they moved into the hallway, she kept up just as well, making sure to heal the soldier who's shoulder had been injured just in time for them to turn a corner and meet... HIM.

She held at her heart a little. Yes, it wasn't as bad as usual, but she still felt that terrible crushing loneliness inside, like the darkness was effecting just her. She coughed and fell to one knee, using her staff to keep her balance while all was going on. Even when Agrias created that shield of ice and it was blown away, Abigail was on her knees, covering her face to avoid shrapnel hitting her delicate features. And then... they were sinking.

She gasped and stood up quickly, trying to keep her hands from going in. She looked around to see that everyone else was also struggling, except for Agrias. She squealed when Agrias was struck, and tried to reach her, but no good. She was already knee-deep. So... she had to make a decision right now... the only one that Agrias would approve of.

"Agrias!" she called, putting her staff aside for a moment. "I'll get the soldiers to safety! You go get Bea!" With that, she closed her eyes and held her hands together. "Okay... what were the words...?" she whipsered to herself...

"Ancient Magic free of vice, aid us with your blinding... ICE!!!" she screamed, her hands glowing a cerulean blue before she thrust them downward and cast an amazingly brilliant wave of light into the floor between corridors...

***ABIGAIL HAS LEARNED FREEZING RAY***

The floor began to freeze, the light cast from the spell itself forcing the darkness back so that all within the circle of frost were free of the corridors. This made the floor very brittle, but that too was part of Abigail's plan. She grabbed her staff back and lifted it high over her head.

"KYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" She screamed, slamming the weighted end hard into the ground, shattering the ice below them. They began to topple downward, but being trained soldiers did so in a way that they would land on their feet. Abigail herself was even controlling her descent perfectly. "NOW GO!" she called to Agrias above as she, and the other soldiers descended...

...into the Audience Chamber. They all landed perfectly, Abigail at center on the North end of the large room. Apparently, they had gone upstairs at one point during their search of the hallways prior to meeting Atticus. She looked up, seeing the swirling machinery before noticing a strange woman floating nearby. She held her staff in a defensive stance, ready to fight if she had to...
