What in the ?!?!

The clouds above Traverse town were thick as the smoke from the flames filled the air, but as the bells truck noon this day the clouds themselves made a funneling shape aiming toward the middle of town. With a loud "Crack" an object come out of the end of the funnel spiraling toward the ground at a tremendous speed and with the sound of "SLOOWWW DOWN" and a large thud the object slammed into the ground. Sending groups of heartless running in different directions.

When the dust settled there stood a young man cough and waving at the air "Cough cough cough, dang it Airinose where did you learn to land.........cough" he mentioned to a large clump sitting be hind him. As the dust settled the form started to show unto that of a young dragon, silver with a hint of gold, glaring at the young man "Grrrrrrr" it made a low growl at him then liked her front claw.

After looking at the dragon licking her wound the man started walking back to her, "sigh, best to keep you at full strength till we figure out where we are." he said as he put both of his hands on her claw "Healing water come to me" he said as a faint blue glow around his hands, then moved slowly onto her claw, "hey hold on Airinose, just exactly where are we?." as the man started looking at their surroundings.

*SHING* the sound of his sword pulled from it's scabbard echoed into the night."Flames grasp my blade" as a spark lead to his sword being engulfed in flame, A smile crossed his lips "Looks like we're in the right place Airinose, they're here as well" as his sword ripped threw three heartless back to back. "Fly Airinose lets not get you hurt" the dragon huffs a cloud of smoke as she took to the sky, he grinned, as he ran into the nearest group of heartless laughing into the night

As the streak barreled a crossed the sky, down below a man was fighting and laughing at the same time, seemingly enjoying himself. "Come on ,come on , more and more, I'll take you all down, WIND WRAP MY BLADE, ICE MY ARM IS YOURS!!" as he yelled the air around his sword swirled and ice began growing on his arm until a pair of claws stuck out from the end of his hand. He notice earlier that any time he tried to strike at any of these things without an element of some sort he barley did any damage.

He hacked and slashed threw heartless left and right as he went from one part of this town to the next. coming upon a clock tower he found himself on top of a cleared area for the moment. "sigh", laughing softly "there's just no ends to these things" seeing that this world was filled with these things and yet not destroyed had him a little annoyed..... "so many, yet this place still lives......why?, whats this?" he said as he picked up a slightly burnt parchment. reading the paper - Legend of the Keyblade-. ""........keyblade masters?...so it's all their fault" (obviously misreading it, not completely on the ball here)

An angry look passed a crossed his face as he started to become surrounded again by the heartless. "Keyblade masters..... i will find you, and make you pay for the things you have done, revenge WILL BE MINE!!!" he yelled as he made a large arc with his sword knocking the heartless off the top of the tower with a great burst of air.(regular heartless) "I'm not done yet" he said as he leaped from the tower into a group a heartless below landing with his sword skewering one. He looked up with a different look on his face now, one of anger, one of hatred, he had found who was behind the destruction of his world, "The Keyblade Masters".

[The Heartless Army]

A loud rattling clanging rattle would erupt around the man as suddenly several large pieces of armor would fall from seemingly nowhere. They bounced against the ground, making a horrible racket before falling still. Only moments later, they would shake and rush toward one another, forming a suit of armor which floated in front of him in a dangerous pose before the helm would fall from out of sight into the chest piece. When it arose, the visor flipped up to reveal glowing eyes inside, one of the stronger Heartless!

It immediately began its assault by swiping at the man, its entire torso spinning 380* rapidly in order to smash its oversized claws at him. It then began to stomp its way toward him, creating small shockwaves where ever its feet landed. This Heartless was not going to take the destruction of its bretherin lightly!

The man turned at the the racket made behind him, upon seeing this "thing" assemble itself in front of him only to become a spinning top running at him, the only thing he could do is laugh. "hopefully you will be at least a challenge!" he said to the thing, he slashed at a all to close heartless before returning his attention to the metal thing.

He breathed in deeply "Earth come to me this body is yours, give me strength, give me toughness, bless me with your grace." sword still wrapped in air he waited for the heartless. when the heartless was within an arms length he raised his hand out and with a great *thud* the claws were stopped mid spin. the earth, not that flashy of an element but when it comes to strength, there is no better element. "And here i thought you would be worth something" he said as he brought his blade of air in an overhead arc about to cut the "thing" in half

And for as basic as Earth is... it has problems with defending an attack from above. The second the man stopped the Heartless' hand spinning at him, the other came crashing down from above him, in a vertical punch meant to crush him while he was stationary from stopping the other claw.

Once the attack was complete (whether it hit or not), the Heartless would jump back, avoiding the slice as best it could, though taking a nasty slice through one of its feet. It would begin to lift into the air, transforming its basic shape by re-arranging its individual parts. Soon, it appeared like a cannon, the darkness within the former torso glowing with a dangerous beam of light.

It opened fire on the man's current location, the power enough to blast apart the ground and split the air with ear-splitting thunder...

A bit dazed from being slammed to the ground from the enormous claw but otherwise unharmed "OK didn't see that coming" shaking his head his head the man saw the Heartless start to form something and draw in power. "Cute ..... but dragons do that too where i come from" after getting to his feet "Wind to my legs, Ice to my blade" he calls then leaps into the air toward the enemy, while throwing his sword at the part where the blast is coming from .

It was too late for the sword, as the blast erupted from the "muzzle" of the "cannon". The light wrapped around the sword, not only engulfing it completely and going around it, but altering the trajectory so that it too was part of the Heartless' attack, flying backward at its owner as part of the seering light this particular configuration could muster.

As soon as it had attacked, it clattered to the ground. Apparently, this particular move came at a cost. The Guard Armor needed a few seconds to recover, and lay in a heap of parts where it was most vulnerable. The question now is... was Nexus in the same boat?

The man's eyebrows raised in surprise, but still he smiled and spoke"well OK ... lets see if this works" as he reached out his hand "Sword Freeze!!" he yelled and as to serve it's master the sword shined a blue light and began freezing the column (I'm guessing) of like. With a smile the man thought he had bested this but his overconfidence would be his downfall, for even tho his sword froze the blast (no logic here sorry) it didn't stop the momentum of it, which in turn slammed into him sending him , his sword and pieces of ice flying over the buildings.

Up above the ground a Silver dragon was flying around watching the bit of chaos that was going on below her. After seeing the young man get slammed by his own mistake she wondered to herself how he ever became a dragon hunter in the first place, but still she watched as now he was flying over building tops. She sighed by letting out a small stream of smoke. and began her decent to follow wherever his body decided to land, or crash really, she chuckled to herself letting more smoke out in puffs.

*Crash* *Crack* *Thud* (and other noises) Down came the man and his sword through a rooftop and into an attic, after the dust settled the man looked out the hole in the roof to see a dragon head starring at him "Gimme a bit Airinose, that hurt" he said as he flopped backwards unconscious . Airinose just shook her head as she curled up on the roof top and waited

[The Heartless Army]

Little did the man know... he landed in the worst of situations. The darkness all around him was still for now, yes. The dust settling around him from his crash could be seen in the dusky, perpetual moonlight which poured in from the hole he created. But that would abruptly change...

In the darkness, hundreds, THOUSANDS of tiny pricks of yellow would open, blinking in odd intervals creating a horrifying illusion of the night sky... which clicked at the man agitatedly. From the blackness, Spyders would begin to crawl, each one bearing 8 of those eyes and two horribly dripping fangs.

Nexus had landed in a Spyder nest...

Airinose lifted her head, she heard little tapping of a lot of little feet. She dipped her head into the hole to look and see if Nexus was ok. She saw that spiders have started to crawl out from multiple areas in the attic, and she was to her feet and pushed her way into the attic.

Fire started spouting out of her mouth burning around the area, keeping the spiders at bay as she made her way to Nexus. She pushed at him with her claw and with no movement by Nexus she grabbed him with her claw and leaped back out the hole in the roof and into the air.

Nexus awoke in mid air being carried by Airinose. "What happened, why are in mid air?" he asked her

Airinose puffed a bit of smoke and motioned to the ground below them.

Nexus looked down to see that they were flying over the town, and below them was what looked like ants scurrying all over the place "By the Gods " he sighed , he turned and grabbed her leg, pulling himself up and on to her back. "Airinose I'm not strong enough for this" he said leaning to her back

Airinose began climbing higher in the air, letting her wings spread wide to glide. She arced her neck to nudge Nexus a bit to get his attention, when he looked up at her she pointed her head toward the sky and then looked back at him.

"Your right Airinose, this place looks just like home before we escaped. This place is done for, lets see what else is out there, and lets see if we can find this damn Keyblade Master." he said as he leaned closer and wrapped his arms around the silver dragon "Light bless us both, and guide us on the path that is before us. Protect us from the Nothing (space) that we must enter"

When the words left Nexus's mouth, Airinose and he began to become covered by a sheet of light "Alright Airinose to the heavens once more" nexus said, as Airinose's wings began to shimmer, there speed rose swiftly, and a loud "crack" and burst of light, as they left this world.


*left Traverse town-----went to hyperspace*
