[glow=green,2,800] “So….. We’ll find her here?” asked a bubbly voice, looking about the ruins of a fallen temple. It was dark here, so it was a welcomed feeling, “Why do we need sunglasses?”
“Yes. I’m sure, and don’t ask again... we need to be quiet…” Shego sighed, her emerald eyes glowing under her own pair of glasses, “It is only a precaution. It says in legend, one gaze can cause any man to turn into stone. It doesn’t say what happens when a woman looks in her eyes. Back then, they didn’t have protective eyewear, such as sunglasses, and if you think of it, it isn’t looking at her directly, only through something- as if an image through these visors.”
“I see… so her powers might not affect us?” Ms. Go asked curiously, hovering next to the girl, and looking down… bellow them was a stream of lava.
“ I don’t see why they would, but don’t worry.” The thief looked around, certain she heard a rattle, “…. I have plans, if the sunglasses don’t work.”
The two of them crept around, and they would hear a slither… they would stop. They stood before a cave, which seemed out of the ordinary… snakes were seeping and making their way out towards the two girls, but they did not attack. Poisonous snakes wrapped around their legs and crawled up along their bodies. Shego was specific when she told Ms. Go to calm down, but even then the girl seemed happy to be there. The snakes seemed to find no threat.
A massive snake tail made it’s ways out of the shadow, followed by the Snake Queen. Her face was oval, a beautiful form of the Greek ages. Her hair replaced by many snakes, which hissed this way and that, their tongues flicking in the wind. Her upper body a greenish complexion, though remained human, her breasts covered by a simple, black-cotton cloth.
“There you are…” Started Shego, starring into the woman’s eyes, and she was correct. The snake woman moved forward, towering over the two girls, and remained baffled- They didn’t turn to stone! “Hello Medusa.” [/glow]

The Snake-Woman slithered forward slowly, an eyebrow lifted as she looked at the two strangers in HER home. She tilted her head somewhat, the snakes falling in strange ways around her features... almost beautifully... Each one stuck their tounges out in varying orders... sampling the air for any clue was to why they weren't immediately falling to stone.
"Visitorss..." she whispered, her voice so soft... almost sultry. She drew so close to the Nobody woman that she was mere inches from her face now, her snakes undulating around experimentally...
"It'ss been ssooo long ssince I've had visitorss..." she purred, those slitted yellow eyes looking over the woman as she slowly slithered around her, now looking at the other, the one steeped in darkness. "Do you know... how lonely it getss here? All alone... no one to talk to...?" she leaned in, obviously not the type to honor personal space. Her quivering lips were so close to the Heartless'... non-existant ones.
She looked away a moment, noting the various statues that had over time become part of the walls of her home, the stalagtites and stalgmites growing over top of them to create this frightening image of bodies reaching out through rock, their faces contorted with terror. "No one ever wantss to sstay... That'ss why I make my sstatuess, you know... to keep me company..."
She placed a hand on the Nobody's shoulder now, walking around to face her front. She held the woman close... leaning in. "Won't you sstay?" she asked sweetly... and then one of her snakes wrapped around the rim of those sunglasses... and ripped it away.
"FOREVER?"

[glow=green,2,800]Shego gasped, holding at her throat after the sunglasses were taken out, and she was exposed to Medusa's eyes. She made chocking noises, and hacking noises, falling to her knees as she looked up to Medusa... only to calm down, and get back up. Un-stoned. Shego's eyes would blink once before she would shake her head, crossing her arms disappointingly. Her back up plan? Contact lenses.
" That was mean of you, Medusa." she spoke normally, her actions before being an act. A good one if anything, though expressionless, her eyes carried a soft caring look, " Here I was offering something, and you immediately try to turning me to sto--"
"--HAHAH!" Ms. Go would clap heartedly, "WOW, you fooled me! I thought you were going to DIE or some-- " she paused, hovering over to Medusa, and wrapping an arm around her shoulders, pointing at Shego, "Can you BELIEVE her?? I mean, HAH! I didn't even see that coming, oh that was GREAT!" she turned to look at Medusa, hovering back to stand next to the thief, "I mean-- your face was like RAWR, and Shego here was--"
"Shut up, Miss Go." The thief spoke bluntly, whacking the girl's shoulder to keep her quiet, and she did. The heartless would giggle every now and then excitedly.
It was the Nobody's turn to step closer to the snake woman, reaching up for a hand, to curl her fingers upon it. She held it up, and rested it upon her own face, " Though you did that to me... I won't hold it against you, Medusa, for I too... know what it is to feel alone...to be alone. " she looked up with that seemingly caring stare toward the snake's alluring eyes, " To be betrayed, and to be left with nothing but the skin on your back... to be seen as a monster, when truly you are beautiful inside and even out, ignoring your circumstances? To be loved, and to stand power over something other than statues? To be seen, not with fear, but praise and adoration?"
The nobody nuzzled her cheek against the back of the woman's hand, smirking she closed her eyes before looking up to the woman, a daring smile for a heartless shell, "So, what say... we help each other... let us leave this stone-piled place, and leave this lonely feeling behind, and be forever at my side? I'll be sure to take good care of you, and promise you many friends for you to meet and be with... what is your answer, my dear Medusa? Will you grant us your presence?" [/glow]

The gorgon gasped! What was this reaction? The others had never- and then she stood up... She took a step back, shocked that she seemed to have some kind of... immunity to it! She shook her head in confusion, even as the other, the one that looked like a shadow, began laughing and making light of this... very odd turn of events.
And then, there was a closeness... not hers, but another intruding in her space. Oohhh, had it been so long since another came to her... She whimpered lightly... All of her snakes' eyes held fixated on the face of this woman, transfixed. An end to the crushing loneliness? Someone who understood that she was no monster, but a victim of circumstance? Oh, how she yearned for it to be true. Her reptillian heart beat a little faster.
"But..." she whispered, so close to the woman, the warmth of her form drawing her closer... until their lips were lightly brushing against one another's as the snakelike woman spoke, her fingers holding Shego's softly. "I can't leave... the ruins are cursed... I can't pass the river..." she whispered desperately... those snakes curling through Shego's hair... exploring her... knowing her...

[glow=green,2,800]The clever woman would allow Medusa to do as she pleased, being that she felt nothing, not flattered, nor disgusted. She supposedly didn't swing this way, but it was as she didn't care... still... something was longing to feel something. She would reach up with a single finger and lightly run the fingertip against the underside of one of the many snake heads that formed the Gorgon's hair. Shego closed her eyes, before opening them again, looking deep into those reptilian hues.
" The same curse that said: Everyone you glanced at would turn into stone?" She spoke softly. There was a emptiness within her voice, but it meant to carry meaning within her words, " I will find a loop hole, Medusa, don't you worry... every curse and contract...has a loop hole."
She reached out for the glasses that one of the snakes still carried, and slowly placed it over Medusa's eyes, giving her a rather attractive look to her-- an even mysterious persona. Shego smirked at this, and reached for a compact mirror opening, and showing Medusa's reflexion. The snake woman would notice, that she too, was protected from the stone curse with them, "Athena... never counted on me coming about. Gods make... plenty of bad mistakes. " she handed Medusa the small mirror, and reached up to hold at her own chin in thought, her other hand, "Now... about this curse you speak of...."
Ms. Go would be hovering about, playing with the snakes, and checking their surroundings for any cursed seals. She pretty much let Shego handled everything, since she was doing so well... [/glow]

The Gorgon's eyes widened slightly when the glasses slipped over her eyes. She reached up to feel them, before seeing herself in the mirror. "Iss thiss what I look like?" she asked, unable to see herself prior. A soft sniffle escaped her... was she... crying? She looked away, holding her arms as Shego put the compact away.
"Yesss...." she said softly, now looking to her. "I'll go with you... Take me away from thiss place..." she walked up to her and held her close, pressing her cheek against the woman's. "You're clever... You're the firsst clever being who wanted to help me... Pleasse... take me away..." she whispered, then kissed her cheek softly.
"The runess are on the arch... celesstial in origin... they cannot be desstroyed..."

[glow=green,2,800]Shego looked over to the exit/entrance of the caves, and noticed the outside seemed a structure made of far different material than the cave... it was placed in as a warning to the outsiders of what was within, along with keeping her in, what a ghastly prison. The thief walked over, resting a hand on the stone and on the Arc which separated the cave from the outside,
" So.. the runes keep you in..?" She would ask, looking to the symbols etched upon the stone, pondering, ".... Hmm... someones tried to destroy it from the inside..." she whispered, noticing the tip of surface inside the cave was scratched and broken nearest the clean rune. " So that won't do."
Finally, the Nobody glanced at her Heartless, "Summon the biggest Heartless that you can, Miss Go."
"Buuut..." The heartless' eyes formed downward crescents, "I thought you said it couldn't be destroyed? Why do you want Darksides?"
"If we cannot destroy it, Ms Go." herself snapping her fingers, and appearing her faithful killer Dusk nobodies, "...We move it out of the way." she pointed to her little group, "You, begin to make a grip, carve out the cave edges surrounding it for the Darksides when they get here." she pointed at a single dusk, "You, check if the rune arc travels down farther into the earth, if it does, disconnect it from the rock that has probably blended in on it."
Ms. Go closed her eyes, her little antennae revealing themselves as they twitched here and there, calling for the massive bodies that were the Darksides.
-KA CLICK- KA CLANK - KA KINK- KA CLANK-
The Dusks were hard at work, literally using their sharp points at the end of their arms to chisel away at the decrepit rock. Shego continued to supervise as the one she sent to the lower layers of the cave came back with great news... it was only surface wise- not so deep in as to be removed... the thief grinned.
Two large darksides finally came to the aid, one grabbing the start of the arch, and the other the end. The dusks pulled out of the way to give the heartless their place to work. Ms. Go, the eager heartless held up her hands, "PULL~" she would call out, and the darksides would begin to pull their mightiest. Roaring as the Rune began to budge, slowly being pulled from the surface.
"Yes." Shego stated, crossing her arms and watching the Heartless at work. The dusks were taking a break at the corner after being placed on hard labor, though they didn't mind.
-rumble ruuummble ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumble- The ground seemed to shake underneath as the curse was being lifted from the grounds. The Darksides had removed it from the very land it sealed, and they tossed it aside against a cave wall..... the door for Medusa, was finally open.
"YAY!" Ms. Go would clap, "Way to GO, guys! Great team work~" she called out to the heartless, who blushed a little before retreating into the darkness, "Thank youuuUu~"
The Nobody turned to the Dusks, and nodded her head in approval, and they left without a word. She turned to watch the snake woman, wondering her expression...what she felt... She was guessing happiness, but as of late, emotions seemed far from her comprehension. "Well... Medusa." she spoke softly, turning to face her completely, " The door is open...whenever you are ready. You should keep on those sunglasses at first, since the sun rays might be harsh on them. Don't worry, I'm sure your vision shall grow used to those rays again. " [/glow]

Medusa watched in awe as these creatures were summoned, and in the matter of minutes, thousands of years of oppression were simply tossed aside like they were nothing! She gasped, then as the woman beside her spoke of being free... she slowly made her way to the entrance of her hellish cave. Like a child seeing the outside for the first time, she shyly crept out and into the sunlight...
Immediately she looked up, feeling the warmth on her face. Her arms lifted and her snakes all spread out as though to take in every last golden ray of sunlight. Slowly, she'd begin to laugh, a haunting, beautiful laugh of overwhelming joy. She spun in place, soaking it all in, free at last! She stopped, looking to the Nobody who had helped her, and the Heartless floating over her shoulder. There were tears in her snakelike eyes.
"Thank you..." she whispered, her voice not that harsh, reptilian thing it was in the caves, but a soft, feminine sound... "I am yours... now and forever... for what you've done for me..." she walked over to Shego, wrapping her arms around her lightly... and kissed the woman on the lips, her snakes trailing through Shego's hair and across her shoulders, each one thankful to her as much as the woman who's lips now pressed against hers...
When she parted, she looked the woman in the eyes, seeming so happy. "Ssealed with a kisss..." she noted. She was now forever bound to Shego... in one way or another.

[glow=green,2,800]The heartless and counter Nobody watched Medusa travel out of the cave, shyly at first, unaware of what would happened next. There was a happy feeling within Ms.Go's heart the moment the snake woman laughed, raising her hands up and praising the sun god. She shrugged a little, not really caring for the light which brought her somewhat of annoying pain.
Shego stood there, giving a smile, an awkward one- trying to feel something by doing it, but failed. She simply sighed, getting tired of guessing what emotion to feel. She crossed her arms and shook her head, suddenly feeling a hold on her, she looked up to meet with the Queen of Snakes, "Thank you...I am yours... now and forever... for what you've done for me..."
The next thing Shego unexpectedly felt was Medusa's lips pressed tightly, against hers. The thief's eyes would widen in... surprise? or- - It was something, it was at the tip of her tongue... what was it? ... Should she kiss back? ... No, she was sure she didn't swing that way-- or was it Ms. Go?
To kiss or not, it was too late- Medusa had broken away from the kiss, and Shego looked up at her, nodding, " Very well, I'll be sure to take good care of you. "
Ms. Go watched it all happened, and she couldn't help but fan herself a little, "Whoo... awkward, but...uhm...so-- what now?"
"Ahem." Shego started, trying to brush the "feeling" out, " We go and free the Titans next." she stated bluntly, "This one might be a little trickier..." she began to walk, and a corridor would form for them- she paused a moment, looking to Medusa who had no protection from the darkness. She turned in place, and snapped her fingers, causing a warm, black cloak to drape around the snake woman's shoulders, " Wear this while going through corridors to keep you warm, and heart safe. It might be a little chilly where we are going, and I wouldn't want you to get sick."
The thief held out her hand to the snake woman while her heartless zoomed into the corridor with an audible 'wheee~' Shego wanted Medusa to feel safe and protected... after all, that was what she had to do... right? She needed to protect?
~ She escorted Medusa to the entrance of the Titan's hold...their prison. How spiteful the gods were...[/glow]

The cloak slipped over Medusa's form famously. She pulled the hood up to conceal her snakes from the cold, as their discomfort was hers, after all. She smiled to the woman, then followed her through the dark corridor. She could almost feel the darkness here, like it were something tangible pressing against that coat. Something told her that this black robe was more than a means to keep warm, but also a means to shield her from what this portal could do to her... She was instantly very thankful.
When they stepped forward, she looked down into the massive hole, barred with lightning bolts, and beyond them, ancient giants of the elements. She held a hand up to her lips, looking to Shego with concern. "The Titansss?" she asked, coming up beside her, though her eyes never left the chasm known as Tardarus.
"Whatever do you want them for?" she inquired further, knowing that these ancient ones possessed amazing power... power enough to even send proxies of themselves into the world, which Hades often enjoyed using in the olympic games... She shivered what the real things were like... "Are you sssure thiss iss ssuch a good idea?"

[glow=green,2,800]Shego looked down upon the prison, this one seeming trickier, but manageable. She looked into the small slits caused by the lightning in thought... reaching over and lightly slapping at the curious Heartless' hand. Her and wanting to touch things, she swore.
"Are you sssure thiss iss ssuch a good idea?"
"No." She spoke bluntly, before her gaze fell upon Medusa's visors, " I can only sway them so much, in the end, it is your choice if you want to help me." the woman implied that the Snake Woman was also involved.
The thief walked forward and she crouched down, looking into the dark window, "Hello?" She would call out, "I seek to speak with the titans. Something which will be beneficial to all of us in the long run... It pertains power... and freedom." [/glow]

Medusa looked to the woman with a confused expression. How would she be able to help her? She'd love to, naturally, for all Shego had done for her, but it still was baffling. She looked to the Heartless, wondering if she knew any more, but that was highly unlikely. She turned her attention down to the depths afterwards, watching with baited interest...
The Titans stirred within, but it was the tallest among them that would answer, tilting its eyes upward of its massive, swirling form. Its voice sounded like a hurricane, a great rushing chaos of a voice...
"I am Hyperion... Titan of Winds..." it spoke, trying to reach through the bars of lightning only to have them blast his windy appendage away. He glared upward, frowning (or what one might consider a frown). "Speak, green one... What freedom can you possibly offer us??" it demanded, clearly the 'show me' type of Titan...

[glow=green,2,800]Ms. Go stood on the other side of the massive hole, hovering into a sitting position and swinging her feet back and forward, staying quiet for the conversation.
The thief would look down upon the beady eyes that looked up at her, before looking at the unique prison bars, glaring, "Oh... don't you get tired of being locked in these kinds of places? Even when made by Gods, or taken over by the Almighty. Clearly, you have done nothing wrong, only what is in your nature, but why can they get away with cruel and unusual punishment? When all we do is go by what we know... how unfair, that even the innocent have to suffer for their sick amusement. "
To the last part, Shego looked momentarily to the Snake Queen before looking down at the pit again, "It seems to me, some justice is in order, right? Would you be interested... in giving them a drink of their own poison, and help me protect our kind? "[/glow]

"Words..." Hyperion pointed out, his breezy voice loud and torrent like a tornado. "Words we ourselves have uttered thousands of times over thousands of years. But words without action are meaningless dribble..."
Another voice joined Hyperion's, a cold... freezing voice that would chill even one without a heart. "You spoke of freedom... what can you possibly do that we have not tried??"
Another, a stalwart voice as deep as the Earth boomed forward. "We've existed for eons... we've tested our bounds. If you can do better, then let us see..."
A bubbling voice sounded now, accompanied by a frightening glow. "Let us see if you can burn brighter than lightning..."
Hyperion once more added, "Get us out, and we'll talk further about your plans for the Olympians..."

[glow=green,2,800]"......... get back Medusa."
The titans wanted to see her determination in getting them out, and she would agree. She set her hands a plasma, glowing a bright green, hotter than lightning itself. Her fingers would clench up, driving all her strength into her arms and hands, and her glow would only get brighter.
Ms. Go saw this, and looked-- she could tell this was going to hurt. She even hesitated...
The thief reached down, and wrapped her hands around the lightning bolts which prevented the Titan's freedom. It would begin to zap at her, her hair standing on end, as visible light would cause her to twitch in place. "Urk!" she would sound, and she would scream a little, trying to stretch at the bands. She had felt this pain before.. the pain of thousands and hundreds of volts coursing through her. A redhead was involved, but who was she? Why was she even thinking of this?
"GRRAAHH!!" she would shout out, the bars which she held were bending, but only a little-- VERY impressive for a mere Nobody.
The heartless would step in now, trying to grab at the bars, and flinching in place, her hands aflame with a darker sort of green plasma, "A-AHH!" - between the two, they were able to bend the bars momentarily, but not enough to squeeze them through. In fact, the bolts retaliated and threw them back with a sonic-like boom, sending each flying on opposite ways. Ms. Go was able to recover, only needing to hover out of harms way.
Shego, not so much. She hit the ground and rolled on it, several times, cringing a little at the pain. Her green hair had singed ends, and she would shiver uncontrollably from the nervous exposure, "Gh-ghrh... d-damn...a-...almos-...almost.* she mumbled, crawling back to the bars, " I'll...I'll..t-..try again..!"
The Heartless hovered over, frowning a little at this, "Whoah, whoah, sweetie. Back up! Look at you...you look like..... a mess."
" I n-need...to do this..!" Her body was beginning to recover as she made her way closer.
"But Sweetie..." [/glow]
