"-bear!" Abigail called out when the spell was suddenly gone. She blinked a few moments, then lifted a hand to her head and shook it lightly. "What just happened...?" she whispered, feeling somewhat lightheaded due to the effects of the spell. Looking to the others, she wondered if they had caught the exchange at all. She remembered Lilith yelling, but that was about it beyond the strange, disembodied voice.
"I'm... not going crazy, am I?" she asked, hoping they heard it too. She glanced between Agrias and Beatrix a moment before sighing. "You... heard it... right?" she asked, then gasped audibly when she realized something important. "Girls! It's past 9:30! We need to be moving!!" she said, flailing cutely. "We don't want to be late!"

Nexus ran foward, still effected by the wind, as the small teddy left trying to catch her before she jumped thru the rift, but to no avail. Having missed the small assailent he noticed that the young vampire began to fall, so instead of stopping he kept going, with the grace of the air, in time to catch her as she fell, letting her metal weapons hit the floor with a "clank".
Nexus looked up at the three women coming undone from the spells one by one. "I don't know about what you have that is important, lady Abigail, but anyone know who that little teddy bear was?" he asked for a moment, if anyone noticed, Nexus's eyes where slightly slit vertically and returned to normal a couple moments after the purple light dissipated . (later explained)

[glow=red,2,300]Beatrix had her smile on this morning, and attempted to make a production about being very happy for this special day. She looked over both White Mage and Holy Knight with a critical eye, and made comments here and there about the splendors of the Sisters' looks, about how well they all looked and how both town and soldiers would fall dead at their sight.
But then Lilith arrived, and so too came the Teddy; Beatrix moved forward some, but was frozen in place, in the middle of a sentence. "What the f--"
A moment later, when time began moving, the general was granted the power to continue.
"iraga!" she cried, moving quickly along the balcony's railing and clutching onto the banister as she made her way up to the Sisters and Lilith, and even noticed yet a male presence. Brushing off her dress, she turned to Agrias.
"Yes, Lady Abigail is right; we should head down into town soon, methinks."[/glow]

Agrias blinked over, thinking she saw a blur, only to be replaced by a rather normal-looking vase. She shook her head a little, reaching up to scratch at her cheek, "... I could of sworn.." she shrugged her shoulders, seeing Nexus walk into the conversation, she bowed lightly to him before looking over to Lilith, "A teddy bear, yes! I thought I saw something s--"
"Girls! It's past 9:30! We need to be moving!!" she heard the mage call out.
"Oh dear!" replied the knight, and she looked to both Beatrix and Agrias, " Boco is not ready yet, but I will prepare him in two minutes flat! Excuse me!" she bowed her head a little, and dashed over to the stables, running low on time-- as if she had room for proper 'lady' walking.
When she arrived, Boco already looked eager. He had been pecking and trying to put on his armor by himself, only to make a bit of a mess. Still, it was nothing the lady-knight could not fix! She placed a nice garb which had white, black, and red colors to match the girls over his neck, before placing his shiny armor on him. He would stay still, of course, for Agrias to do such things.
"Wwark-KWHEE!" would cry the bird happily, wobbling out of the stables and near the entrance of the castle with Agrias. Certain, they would both find the party there...
As they got there, Boco stretched down his neck and pecked lightly at the other two, but not as to mess up their hair.
"Are we ready to depart, Sisters?" grinned the knight, amber eyes glowing brightly.

[glow=red,2,300]"Well then," she called, turning and collecting the lower bits of her dress, and proceeding forward. She turned back to Lilith and Nexus as she passed. "You have outfits waiting for you in the den east of this foyer, right through there. Come along, Lady Abigail. We shall take a horse into the village."
She smiled and closed her eye as she stepped through the front doors of the palace, concentrating her dark energy on forming two immaculate ball-like costumes for her companions. When she was sure they were summoned, she dragged the White Mage to the stables and picked out a white stallion called Sieg; mounting, she lowered a hand to assist her fellow Sister and turned to Agrias. "Nearly."[/glow]

"Ah, many pardons, Lady Beatrix." She nodded a little to her comrade, " Might I suggest that, since Lady Abigail was the victor of the race along with Boco, would it naught be good for them to ride together?"
Boco would wiggle happily next to Agrias, wobbling over to Abigail, he would lightly shove his head against her chest, looking for a hug in a way. He then stretched his neck a little to wiggle his head free to peck at her hair happily. "Kw-kwhee, kwhee, kwhee- WAARK!" his feathers ruffled before relaxing.
"Methinks Boco would enjoy it." Agrias smiled, looking to Abigail, and then at the Chocobo, reaching up to brush her fingertips against his wing feathers.

As they moved outside, Abigail looked to Beatrix with a bright smile. "You even got nice clothes for Lilith and our new friend? That's so sweet and generous of you!" she said, completely unaware that the odd, cold sensation she just felt came from Bea herself. She blinked, and before she could say anything, she was being dragged off to meet Sieg.
Blinking, Abigail was about to take Beatrix's hand when Agrias suggested she ride with Boco. The large bird came over and basically insisted. She giggled happily, hugging the creature's beak lovingly before patting his neck feathers. She looked back to Bea with a little smile and a shrug. "Well... I don't want to hurt any feelings..." she said, then went to mount Boco. She paused a second, and sighed quickly, basically kicking herself for what she was about to say...
"Bea? Maybe Miss Agrias can ride with you? You two haven't had a whole lot of time together since we arrived hm?" she suggested sweetly, even if she absolutely hated seeing the holy knight in another's arms. She pulled herself up onto Boco and giggled softly, keeping up her brave face. "Besides, I think there's more room on Seig than Boco, hm?" she said cutely, then lightly tapped Boco's side.
"Let's go!" she called out, taking off toward the bridge. "Race you!"

[glow=red,2,300]Her hand rejected, she fought the urge to spit out some slurs before considering Abby's next suggestion. She scratched her chin and eyed Agrias, and nodded.
"Yes, perhaps we should, indeed, ride together." Chuckling, she moved her right leg over the other side of Sieg, riding like the average soldier, knowing she'd have to be fully capable of speeding up while racing Abby. Agrias could sit like a princess, the way she should in the dress she wore. Beatrix stared at her own dress, thinking the same, but simply shook her head.
"Well, come along then, Lady Agrias. We've a race to conquer."[/glow]

Agrias blushed and nearly chocked on air when Abigail's suggestion came to be told. She was honestly thinking of walking beside them, until this idea came to mind. Her eyes glowed gold as she stared up at Beatrix, gulping a little, a shy smile creeping her expression.
"Ah.. Splendid idea," agreed the knight, sheepishly, looking at the horse with quite curiosity. This was different than a chocobo-- it had four legs! She frowned a little, climbing up, and nearly losing her balance as she rested on the saddle, "a-ah, dear... 'tis different!" she laughed nervously, seeming frightened by this new ride, she gulped. She showed bravery when she slowly wrapped her arms around the General's waist so she wouldn't fall off.
"Ready when thoust wishes, Lady Beatrix!" smiled the knight over Beatrix's shoulder, " worry naught for me."

[glow=red,2,300]"Superb," she muttered, and clicked her tongue once while snapping the reins. Sieg was soon leaving clouds of dust in his wake as both general and Holy Knight bolted down the wide bridge burdened with the massive Red Rose. Beatrix made a quick glance at its progress and frowned, but pressed on, seeing Abby just reaching the outer gates.
"Tch. Yah, yah! Ride on, Sieg! Ride on! Hold on tight, Lady Agrias, I'm about to mount a full speed charge!"[/glow]

Abigail giggled a bit as she rode with Boco. Admittedly, she had slowed a little to let the others catch up a little, but when they came into view, she began to pull ahead again. "Can't catch us, right, Boco??" she called, laughing a little happily as her dress whipped a little in the wind.
The sight was one to take in, three lovely princesses-looking women riding at full-tilt down a forest road with such skill and precision... really, it was spectacular. Abigail would slow down from time to time to ride alongside Bea and Agrias with a playful smile, sometimes even falling behind because of Bea's skillful riding. However, when they reached the final leg of their littel race, she purposely made sure they were neck-and-neck.
"I'm gonna winnn..." she teased, then patted Boco's neck affectionately. "Almost there!" she said, but before they reached the end... she pulled back on the reigns to slow Boco down. She really didn't feel riding into town at full speed so recklessly would be good for their image, so she was basically going to give them the victory if they kept running. She giggled, knowing Bea would very much enjoy winning.
"Let's go, Boco..." she said, then headed toward the entrance to the town at a trot. "That was so much fun!"

[glow=red,2,300]Seeing Abby slow down as they neared one of the three village entrances she tilted her head, noting with a sigh that Abby had forfeited the race in Beatrix' favor. The lighter side of her thanked the White Mage. The darker half cursed her for it, seeing it an insult to her skill.
She came to a screeching halt several feet away from the water fountain, having lept straight over it same as when Gaston tried providing for his town a cheating show. Instead, Beatrix meant to avoid the structure, having been too preoccupied with being irritated at Abby.
When they stopped she nodded to Abby, who sidled up with Boco alongside and she dismounted, raising her arms to help down Agrias. Soldiers were everywhere, intermingled with cheerful townsfolk; the place looked ready to party, and the general was quite surprised by their haste. This had only been ordered yesterday!
"My, my!"[/glow]

The soldiers all came unarmed, save for their swords, and wore only their breastplates for armor. This showed the townspeople they were still full of Alexandrian pride, as the emblem was emblazoned across the chests of each woman.
Daphne stood near a bench where her two assistants were putting away their work, and she looked around with a forlorn expression. Where was Sai?
Maria, Linda and Dori spoke with five handsome men and discussed swords and shields, the men being dumbfounded that women were so knowledgeable of such things.
Gaston was pestering Dahlia and Quinn, who seemed to be preparing a team tackle for later.
All in all the Alexandrian Army was happy to be here, ready for the festivities to begin. And then the general and her compatriots arrived.
Everyone stared.
"Oh my goodness!" several cried in unison.

The faster Beatrix rode, the tighter Agrias held. She would look over the woman's shoulder and giggle at the speed, having never had anyone else ride for her was... she felt, well... feminine, for once. When the general alerted that they would go faster still, she pressed herself a little against her, to achieve more aerodynamic status for the rider and stallion, she also hid a bit further behind her, only peeking to see where they were.
She wanted to be fair in such a race after all. She loved Boco and Abigail as well, but a race was a race between two Sisters!
...she was thankful that everything seemed so right, at least for this moment. Boco seemed to be having just as much fun as they were, warking and keuwing all the way to the town square. Pretty much telling everyone of their arrival.
"How exhilarating!" she called to Beatrix, having a feel on how the horse moved parallel to his run. She would see Abigail from time to time ride neck-to-neck with them, and she would chuckle, "Eyes on the road, Sister Abigail, or thoust will find herself seeing dust!"
...She held tighter at the General, her heart beating wildly within her chest as the finish line came closer... she was enjoying herself... and when they arrived, she found it almost difficult to let go of Beatrix, but did so to allow the woman to jump off the stallion. She held her hands down to Beatrix, since she offered to help her down. It was shorter than a Chocobo, so it would prove an easier descent... and she was very light in Beatrix's arms.
She blushed a little, clearing her throat and fixing her dress after the dismount. Looking to the festivities and the cheering soldiers once they saw them. Still, it was Abigail's shining moment, and she would lightly tap her forward to receive the cheers of the Alexandrian Knights. Agrias remained next to Beatrix, looking to her, and then to the Mage to see how she was doing to such attention....
...She was really proud of her.

Abigail came in slowly, choosing to do so simply to take it all in! She let out a soft gasp as she admired the town, so extravagant in such a short amount of time. She felt a little overwhelmed, so many cheering for the sisters as they arrived. She blushed a little shyly, looking at the back of Boco's head as it bobbed this way and that in front of her. All this... because she beat Gaston at a race?
She looked up as the cheering grew louder, and smiled softly. She waved to everyone who had seen the feat, and to the soldiers who had benefitted from the feast. She felt like a genuine hero! She couldn't believe how great this was, this fulfilling sense of... what was the word... self-confidence. She sat taller, her chin raising proudly as she smiled. Boco stopped next to Sieg, and she glanced down to Bea and Agrias, giggling happier than she had in a while. She doubted she'd ever question herself again...
Even if Agrias seemed so happy when Beatrix helped her down from the horse. Abigail, however, wouldn't let that put a damper on her high spirits! She dismounted Boco expertly and stood among the onrushing crowd that even now wanted to shake hands with her or pat her on the back. She would be sweet as always, thanking everyone and wishing for them to enjoy everything before trying to make her way to her fellow sisters.
She looked up at them with a bright smile, almost glowing. "Is this... what it's like all the time?" she giggled, still blushing softly. "Come on... I want to share this!" she said, then snuck between them and raised their hands, hoping to imply to the crowd that she credited THEM for her victory.
From the cheers, she guessed it got across.
