As Vivi thought he would meet Death very soon, the Cardian's defenses breaking raised his spirits; and just as he was about to doom the creature with one final strike, the Taru gave him new orders; the Cardian was now out of the picture and while the mage toddled over, his master spoke of someone he knew quite well.
When he reached the table he caught the sliding package with swift ease, staring up at Domina with keen determination.
"Yes, Domina Shantotto," he said simply. "I shall deliver this to Miss Abigail as soon as possible; one question: where are they now? Last I saw was we were on the Red Rose when you came to collect me; I've no means of determin--" and then he remembered; the Taru gave him means.
"Ah, yes." With a bow of his head he pulled out the book and found what he was looking for.
"Thank you for your wisdom, Domina Shantotto. Warp!"
And in a flash the Mage had disappeared, on his way--apparently--to the Dark Margin.

[glow=purple,2,800]** From a Whole New Show, Hyperspace **
In this world, not too long after Vivi had gone, a ripple of purple and turquoise would form, and out would appear a rather beautiful figure of silver hair, and golden eyes. Her skin adorned with odd tattoos would make her seem nothing short of mystical. Her wings would flex a little, allowing a few stuck feathers to flow freely out of their hold, withering downward in an odd trail. She watched the teddy-sized mage, as she worked, saying nothing at first, but knowing much still needed to be said.
The witch of time held up a hand, and out of nothing, a note was crafted, already done, and ready for delivery.
"I have one more favor to ask of you, Shantotto." She spoke in that sultry voice, walking a bit forward, to rest the note on the mage's desk, "I need you to protect, and give this to Jenova... it is of up most importance. Protect Terra as well... you will know what to do..."
Without warning, Ultimecia did something rather unexpected, and she wrapped her arms around the small form, in an embrace. She held her tightly there, and at one point, the Taru did resemble a teddy bear by the way she was held, and soon after, the witch let go, "See you soon..." she whispered, allowing the Taru to go into her rants or nagging freely. After a few moments of just watching Shantotto, Ultimecia left in a ripple of time, and warped just outside, at the white fields of Castle Oblivion.
Those tired eyes glanced up at the sky, and took in the deep, cold air around her.... waiting. [/glow]

[glow=teal,2,300]After Vivi had gone to deliver the package, Shantotto went about her business as usual for her soon to come domination. Reading through books and concocting spells within a cauldron, when she suddenly halted but for a moment. Her back was to the desk as her hands still in air from binding a new spell. Her head tilted to one side as she felt an ever so soft breeze pass through her study. Shantotto was the type to neglect her surroundings and become entirely submersed in her work.
Moments after she felt the breeze she had heard a familiar voice came a moment after the breeze.
[glow=purple,2,300]"I have one more favor to ask of you, Shantotto."[/glow] Being so focused on her work, hearing such a voice not only made her twitch, but made her lose focus on the bind which began to create a vast rift above the cauldron. Shantotto could only stand there, hands still in the air as the spell would dissipate just as suddenly as it opened in it's rift.
As the dust of magical essence dissipated, her arms dropped to her side, hands in fists and standing quite stout on her stool.
[glow=purple,2,300]"I need you to protect, and give this to Jenova... it is of up most importance. Protect Terra as well... you will know what to do..."[/glow] After hearing this, her ear began twitching. She quickly turned to Ultimecia knowing full well who was behind her. as she turned, her arm quickly raised and finger pointed right at Ultimecia's face and shouted "How DARE..." but was stopped short. Ultimecia had suddenly grabbed the infuriated Shantotto who was sill in her still standing arm out and pointing, and embraced her with a hug as she whispered [glow=purple,2,300]"See you soon..." [/glow]Shantotto merely stood there a state of awe.
Just as quickly as her entrance was made she had suddenly gone. Leaving the taru in a rather disturbed state. Soon after grasping the reality of things, she let down her arm as her eyes grew wide and ears perked up as she let out a shout in this total disarray of events. "I ... am not .... A TEDDY BEAR!" With a few moments of temperament, she became curious of this letter. After which a long sigh would come out. She would have to put her attention else where, again, putting her world domination plans to a hold.

[glow=teal,2,300]From the corner of her study, the warp rift had opened. Coming through, Shantotto was rather irritated with such a rude interruption of her fun. "That is Karma I suppose." she thought to herself walking back to her table to check on her other students. With a menacing tone she mumbled, "I'll soon show him the proper tone."
She had since climbed upon her stool, and began to use her orb checking her and there to see where her students. Though while searching for her students, she had almost forgotten about the delivery of the letter to Jenova. She quickly waved your little hand over the orb, canceling it's vision. She removed the letter from black coat and started at the simple letter for a moment. After a bit she let out a long sigh, shacking her head. Her ears sloped and eyes squinted, "Well, Ultimecia didn't say how it got to Jenova, as long as it gets there." At that moment she had an idea.
Shantotto perked up slightly and climbed down from her stool. She wondered over to a Cardian that was at the end of the table. "You! Take this letter and seek the one called Jenova. Return only when complete, or it's your mechanical hide I shall beat!" The Cardian standing unflinching took the letter from Shantotto's hand. It spoke with unconditional loyalty. "As*^YouW#Ish$" With that said, Shantotto shouted "Warp II" and away she sent the Cardian to Cornelia, Saying Goodbyes to deliver the letter.

[glow=teal,2,300]*From Castle Oblivion > Fragments of Darkness*
From the center of the room a small rift began to open, filling the room with a dark, purple light. And from this rift Shantotto herself stepped through.
She said nothing. She simply walked to her desk and began to gather things from it. Soon, she had a small gathering of items on her table. Calling over one of her Cardian's, she instructed it to gather and carry her belongings. Once finished she stepped down from her stool and began to walk from book shelf to book shelf. Gathering books from each shelf she placed them on the ground. After a short time she called her other two Cardian's over. She instructed the last two to carry her books.
Each of her Cardian's had opened a small rift around the items to carry. The rift was similar to that of warp. This cast however transfered items to a world parallel to there own for easy access and travel.
As the Cardian's worked, Shantotto walked to the center of her room. She began to summon the orb from the Observatory to her study. (Shantotto did this due to dropping her original orb down at the castle doors. With it shattered into pieces this was the only viable option to try and track the other four creatures.) With her hand stretched out front, a small flicker of light shinned from her palm. As fragments of light fell from her hand. As they fell, the orb was resting in her hand.
As Shantotto scanned through the orb, her Cardian's were finishing their task. Once they finished, the three came to their masters side, awaiting orders.
Almost thirty minutes had passed while Shantotto stood with her guardians at her side. Her ears twitched as her eyes squinted ever so slightly. "Humph" was all she said. Soon after that same small flicker of light came to flourish. Just as soon as it appeared, the light vanished, this time the orb went with it. Shantotto then turned to her Cardian's. She had developed an ominous presence about her as she spoke to the Cardian's. "Beyond the orb's reach are the four I seek. Their future survival is bleak. We shall go and hunt these creatures down one by one. For their oblivion has come."
This would be the start of Shantotto's anger and journey to find Ultimecia.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,800]Anger... that was her cue. Soon, as Shantotto's rage increased, so did this one's power. A burst of red mist flooded over the hallways of castle oblivion. A hue of blood would overflow within the many hallways, although it seemed patterned... the thickest of all mists leading a trail to a familiar room within the halls of Oblivion: Ultimecia's Observatory.
The closer one was to to the room, the hotter it would become. If the Taru opened the doors, she would find Ultimecia's possessions aflame, and in the middle of that once-said Sanctuary, stood the creature with the red mask, twisting and contorting in place as time elapsed for it.
"Disrespectful..." It spoke in Ultimecia tone, sounding rather angry, "... Insolent, good for nothing teddy bear..." it continued to feed itself in Shantotto's hidden self-loathing, "...can't even protect a room from chaos... but you would not know how to stop it, would you? Only cause it... and never heal it. You are useless."
The heartless shrieked a horrible cry, and took a battle stance when its gaze turned to Shantotto, " You won't be able to protect a room... much less a child... You don't deserve to be here.. you... plebeian." Oh, this should send Shantotto's blood boiling, and if it did, Anger would prove to be a menacing foe.[/glow][/glow]

[glow=teal,2,300]Beyond the doors of her study lay many infinite hallways. One unsure of the direction to go would wind up lost indefinitely.
From these halls a glowing hue of red was filling. Eventually reaching Shantotto's door. The glow began to seep under the door and start filling the study, giving off a strange energy.
Shortly before giving her Cardian's orders and warping world to world in search of these creatures, her ear twitched slightly. Shantotto had picked up on the faint energy emanating from outside. "The hunted, trying to sneak up on the hunter? Such an audacious act." Almost violent in tone she turns, and begins to walk to the door.
Standing at the door she gives her Cardian's orders to not interfere. Instead they are to stay and guard the study. As Shantotto began to enter the hall, the trio took up arms just as they did when faced against Acteur and Sarah.

[glow=teal,2,300]From the cold snap of the outside of her castle, Shantotto had her encounter with Acceptance. She grew bored of the bitter nagging and summoned her Cardian's to take her place in the fight. Once the three were summoned, Shantotto's Cardian's had quickly returned her to the safety of her study.
Now she had peace and quiet, or so she thought. The voice of the Goddess herself echoed through the air. Hearing the words, she had to think these words would mean something coming from the benevolent one. So Shantotto began to scan through the orb in order to find meaning behind the words.
Though after some time of searching, a strange ominous feeling began to loom over the small Taru. In which the orb quickly switched its view to follow Cosmos. Shantotto was unsure of what she was witnessing at the time, until a very familiar face was shown in the distance..."Terra!" She shouted out loud.
Her eyes widened bigger than ever as her ears quickly drooped. The words of Ultimecia came to Shantotto like a raging river flowed. "Oh... well isn't this quiet the mess. I suppose this was all part of your test..." Her ego began to slowly rise, "Well, it's clear to see this just wont do, she's clearly playing the fool."
As she stepped from her stool her Cardian's came from three separate portals. Badly damaged they began repairs as Shantotto took her leave...
