Abigail smiled, giggling somewhat at Ellin's assessment of Lilith. She shrugged lightly, though in spite of herself. "She has a good heart... I can only imagine the life she's lead..." she said, then blinked as an invitaiton was handed to her! She reached out and took it, looking it over curiously.
And then it was said. "By The Master of the Arts, Acteur de La Noir, a rather talented Heartless with a knack for e--"
"Assassin!" Abigail gasped, dropping the letter and going for her staff nearby. She swung it hard, in a downward arch directly into the top of Ellin's unprotected head! She would jump back, her eyes set in a serious expression, her hands gripping her staff expertly. Again, it was a little known fact that Abigail was in fact black-belt level with staff weapons.
"What do you want from us??" she demanded, assuming Ellin was working against them based on her affiliation with the Heartless.

A loud THUD erupted from the top of her head as metal met skull. She would hold at her cranium, whimpering a little and crouching over, rubbing at that small bump that was forming, "OoouuUuCHH!" she squeaked. She would look up, but did not seem angry at all, "P-please," she tried waving a hand, getting up after getting her second wind, "I am only a messenger Miss...! Do not call me an assassin, for I fight for Justice. In my life I have gone against the Dark Arts true nature of destruction for one day to be known as something... something wonderful, like a Holy Knight."
Ellin glanced down at the fallen letter and pouted a little. She walked over and knelt just near it, looking up to the woman. The black knight in her kind gestures did not give an evil vibe. In fact, for a Black Knight, there was not even an ounce of berserker in her.
"I embraces all. The darkness, through me, shall know the true meaning of light in my hold., " she quoted from the book of Cosmos, looking up to her with a weak smile, " Book of Light, Passage Aurora 2:39:23. "
She wiped the letter clean, having fallen on some pieces of hay and dirt, she wished for it to be presentable before trying to hand it to her once more, "...here, you dropped it, Miss Abigail... please?" she was a little tense, a gauntlet ready to protect herself if the staff was to swing down on her again, "I..if anything, you can see his wondrous penmanship...?"

"Assassin!!" was all Nexus needed to hear before he himself closed the small distance acrossed the cargo hold. Along the way he only spoke one phrase "Ice, gift me this day" as he walked. He pulled his blade from it's scabbard acrossed his back. With a long "Hiss" as his blade pulled free, it produced a faint hue of light blue, as well slightly steaming, his sword taking on the characteristics of the element ice. Within less then a moment he was behind the back knight , his sword pointed at her back, looking to Abigail before proceeding further. with one broken arm in a sling, he still stood his ground ready to do what needed to be done

"she's telling the truth..." the blunt statement fell out of the shadows as most of Lilith's statements did. "her heart rate was stable... until you hit her that is, and her scent is pure."
Lilith laid on her back across a crate. "shame... I'm getting kinda hungry, she would have made an interesting meal"

Abigail gripped her staff tighter, expecting some kind of trickery. But she was not expecting this! The dark one knealt down... and quoted to her from the book of Cosmos! She grew confused... shaking her head slightly as her grip lightened and her staff lowered. "...what?" she asked, her voice softer now, more conflicted. Was not a dark knight one who worshipped Chaos?
Then, Lilith spoke. Her head wheeled around to look at her, and take in her message. She blinked a bit, then lowered her staff fully. What was she doing? Who was she to determine who was evil and good? Look at Lilith! A creature of the night who fought with them against the darkness! Look at the words of Cosmos, which definitively states that there is light within all creatures. She reached down to take the letter in Ellin's hand, though her mind raced with questions. Had she... become such a warrior that she forgot how to be a proper priestess? What would Cosmos think? Had she become darkened in her heart?
She looked off, thinking on this, but was interrupted by Nexus' preparation of an attack! She gasped, then moved around between Ellin and Nexus. Holding her hands out, she shook her head. "Hold on!" she pleaded, then lowered her arms and sighed. "Lilith says she's not lying... maybe I just jumped the gun..." she said, then looked at the letter and opened it.
Quickly reading it, she found that it was an invitation to the Opera House, coupled with the promise of an opportunity to win a glimpse into the future! She looked up, then to Ellin with eyes wide. "I this... true?" she asked, clearly startled. "Do Beatrix and Agrias know about this?"

Nexus quickly lowered his sword as soon as Abigail entered his path, not removing his eyes from the dark Knight. He tapped his sword on the side of his leg a couple times hing his shin armor freeze up and thaw a couple times from the ice element. he stood patently wondering actually what he should be doing next, one second "Heartless" the next "Hold on"a little confused Nexus just stood there watching over Abigail.

Ellin stayed in place, wanting no one to become startled by her subtle actions. When all was clear was the moment she stood, and dusted her armor off a little. She looked up toward the vampire, and then to the Hunter. She was surprised when Abigail stood between her and someone else to protect her.
"Wha..." she smiled brightly, reaching up to scratch a little at her cheek, her eyes a bright lavender now. Someone was standing up for her, a priestess no less. Lilith, she could understand, since dark creatures could stand for one another but... a priestess?
The blackest knight chuckled, and bowed her head quietly, in true awe to this White Mage. Her eyes glanced up, watching this interesting woman read about, and turn to ask her if this was true.
"Indeed, Madam Abigail." She stood straight now, " Monsieur Acteur never jokes of such things, as Theater is something he takes quite seriously." she gave her a light grin, " Ah, also, worry not for the sudden strike-- I am rather used to it... A bad encounter with the Heartless soldiers I take it?'
Ellin shook her head and gave a heavy sigh, " Frightened they are is all... not all Heartless are evil, as not all Light Followers are good. In the eye of the beholder, yes, Miss Abigail?" she tried asking the woman, trying to figure what was so different about her...

Once she had retrieved her sword, Beatrix made several detours, even though she'd told Agrias that she wouldn't be gone for too long. She had a lot of thinking to do, and not even this sudden invitation from a mysterious dark theatre junky was at the top of her list.
She had been forgiven, not just by Agrias, but apparently so by that White Mage she had been so jealous of. Could the mercy of Cosmos truly be so...easy to receive? Thinking about all the evils she had committed recently, and finally remembering all the other terrible things she'd done in the name of Maleficent in the past...Beatrix would never conceive the ability to just...forgive that. Was she crazy? Was Cosmos? Or the others?
Take for instance Ellin. Back in the commons she had spoken of her dedication to Cosmos and not Chaos, in fact. True? Was Beatrix any less of a Holy Knight as a Black Heart? She had retained her magical, spiritual abilities. Perhaps there was some truth to Abby's preaching...
Now came the hard part...give up the title? Was she worthy any longer? Soul searching...
By the time she made it back to the commons Agrias had left; the general sighed and collected the letter off the U-shaped sofa and trekked back through the halls to her private suite. Opening the door she was shocked to find the room unoccupied.
"O-oh, Lady...um, Agrias. Hello."

The general would find Agrias sitting in the middle of the room with sword in front of her. She had the hilt weakly within her grasp, and there would be no glow from her, nor from Save the Queen. The knight looked depressed, starring sadly at the sword's blade in a strange defeat. She tried gripping at the sword, and tried to raise it a little, but even that was strenuous.
"Hng.." she complain a bit, grunting under her breath before relaxing, " ... "
"O-oh, Lady...um, Agrias. Hello." called a voice from behind, and she turned to look to see it was Beatrix. She gave her a weak smile, and turned to look at her sword.
"...How tired am I?" she started, her smile trembling a little, "...that I am unable to rise my own sword...?" the knight breathed here, "...Save the Queen sleeps without waking."
She allowed the hilt to rest against the ground and held up her arms to stare at her trembling hands, "Tis...bothersome, Lady Beatrix, to be unable to do the most natural of things... in the middle of a war no less... my habitat, " she spoke with a light rasp, her throat still sore, " ... I have to keep trying... even if I must begin from square one again..."

The general, seeing Agrias so forlorn and lost in her alien situation, moved over to her bed and sat down beside the Holy Knight, resting a comforting, reassuring arm over her shoulder; she brought her hand in and lay it upon Agrias' which gripped the blade and gave it a squeeze. She smiled.
"Perhaps the two of you are exhausted, Lady Agrias."
She ran two fingers up the length of the blade's flat end, feeling no pulse of the HeartSteele; what strange curse was this...something so powerful to seal a connection between heart and Steele...or perhaps it was Beatrix' doing, after all?
The general shot back immediately, feeling a slight spark tingle between her fingertips; she stood up and took two steps back, rubbing her arm what now prickled with goosebumps as she stared at her miserable companion.
"Hm..."
She couldn't come up with the words, instead elected to stand there and stare. What was she doing? What should she do? Ever since her ascension back to light she's spoken to no one but...perhaps it was time to seek council with someone from the dark, as well...like Abby said...ther is light in darkness. Two sides of the story?
"Excuse me...I need to seek out Ellin for some...questions." she said and left the room briskly, seeking out the Blackest Knight.

Agrias nodded quietly, looking toward the General who took her leave. When she was alone again, she gave it one last attempt for the day...
The holy knight got up, holding onto the hilt of her blade, her whole self quivering. Her eyes would narrow, in disbelief of her own weakness, and with a seemingly tight grip upon Save the Queen, tried to hold it up. One could tell the knight was struggling, as sword and arms and knees began to tremble uncontrollably. She couldn't.
Agrias fell to her knees, gasping in exhaustion, feeling like her four year old self that was attempting to carry her father's broad sword. Her sword, unable to hold up anymore, made a loud -ka-KLINK- when it hit the floor under it. The knight still holding it by the handle, resting over her thighs.
This was a scary feeling for the knight; to feel this useless was alien to her. Once Captain of the Lionsguard Brigade, Royal guard of the Late Queen Ovelia, and later on a Sister of Light... what was she now? What was the purpose of her coming back? Why did her comrades in the other world sent her to this? Another test perhaps was needed...?
The once holy one remained there, contemplating on these questions...

Beatrix spent quite a while in search of Ellin Destroix, heading first to Lady Abigail's room and then to the ship's community quarters where soldiers and guests alike rested and enjoyed themselves. She was nowhere to be found.
Until she was accosted by some soldiers who told her they saw a Black Knight heading to the cargo hold. They of course thought she was up to no good, hoping to set explosives, or something, while others thought Beatrix had descended into Darkness once more and was recruiting the Blackest Blade.
The general shrugged this all off and made her way back to the cargo hold. Perhaps she would collect Boco while she was there. Opening the large doors she walked in, attempting to set her hands alight with holy flame once more, only to find that the light was still weak. She sighed and pressed forward, following the sounds of people speaking in the distance.
When she found who she was looking for she straightened up, cleared her throat and took her signature "hand on hip, other hand at her side" pose.
"Ahem...Miss Destroix," she stated simply. "A moment?"

Having walked the halls of Alexandria's prized airship for some time, Vivi came up with the decision to destroy the magicite crystal himself, instead of speaking with Beatrix, Agrias, Lexia, Abby or anyone else. He sat for quite some time at the bow's deck, staring out over the ship side, gazing deep into Hyperspace.
Turning, he pulled out the shard once more and, with a deep breath, threw it hard on the ground, watching as it exploded, shattering to a thousand pieces before his very eyes.
"Miss...come save me from myself..."

With so many people suddenly coming to the cargo hold, Boco began to feel nervous, and backed away slightly, his feathers ruffling. He was getting images of the last thing he saw before being tied, pulled, and hung upside down by his "ankles."
He warked and kwheed nervously, flapping his wings and making distance from the black knight, vampire and white mage. It was getting too crowded. Suddenly, a sword was held toward the black knight the moment Abigail shouted "assassin" and whacked her over the head with her staff. Boco retreated to the farthest corner, keeping away from everyone and trembling in place-- was it happening again?
"K-kwhee.." it would whimper, wondering where his master was, and why she hadn't visited. Was she hurt? Was she...
The chocobo shook violently now, warking loudly, and flapping violently. He JUMPED over the crowd and made his way PAST the dragon and out of the hold, running through the crowded hallways of the red rose, as he tried to find the Holy Knight.
"WAARK!" It would shout, flapping its wings to ward away anyone trying to take hold of him.
-----
At Beatrix room, Agrias found herself listening to the cries of her trusty "Steed." and she gasped, getting to her feet and rushing out the door as fast as she could. "Boco...!" she gasped, making her way to a big hallway before doing a familiar whistle done in wartimes of Ivalice.
"Booocooo~" She would call out, a smile on her expression. She held herself up with her dulled sword, which she dragged with all her might to where she stood now.
----
At the sound of that whistle, Boco turned his head, his eyes widened- seeming relieved to hear such a threatening sound, and he rushed to it, evading holds of soldiers.
"WAARK" it would sound again, following the whistle, until he arrived at that large hallway with Agrias in front. The feathers of its head stood in end, and gave a loud "KWHEE" when he found her, wobbling over to her, and curling his neck around her form lovingly, "kwhee...!" it would cry softly...
---
"Oh Boco, you little-- " She found herself crying at the sight of him, "you've gone-- are you-- have you--" she shook her head, wrapping her arms around his neck softly and holding him in a hold, happy to see he was safe, "....Boco...shh...shh, I'm alright....shh... "
The sword fell on the floor while she held Boco sweetly.
The knight understood his worry, for it was the same as hers. They were the only ones left of Ivalice... each others' tie to the motherland. She cooed him a little, running her fingertips across his top feathers lovingly before petting at his beak, "It will be alright Boco... I promise.."
----
The chocobo was so emotional, it would continue to cry, grateful to see his Master safe. After a while, he would stretch his neck up, and lovingly peck at her hair like he always did. It caused the knight to giggle, and it convinced him it would all be fine.
"Wark..!" he sounded better, and sat on his rump with a thump, wrapping a wing around Agrias to keep her warm. Her loyal Chocobo until the end.

Abigail sighed softly, smiling a bit to Nexus, who seemed as confused as she! She looked to Ellin, who assured her that this invitation was genuine, and reminded her that not everything is so black-and-white. She thought a moment, nodding a bit before slipping the invitation into her bag of holding. "I suppose..." she said softly, responding to Ellin's statement.
Then, the General came into view, asking to speak with Ellin. For unknown reasons, this caused Boco to completely freak out and leap over all of them in a break for the open door! Abigail gasped, then took off in a run. "Boco, no!" she cried out, turning in place as she ran to face everyone. "I'll be back!" she assured them, then ran at full speed after the rouge Chocobo!
"Boco, please stop!" she called up to him, but he was in full panic. She kept chasing through the entire ship, trying to catch him and try to calm him down, but let's be honest... no one without supernatural powers could chase a chocobo down! Still, the fact that she was keeping pace was genuinely amazing.
The whistle sounded, and Boco took off in another direction. She tried to catch him as he turned back on her path, but only managed to fall over herself. She growled in frustration, then got back up and started running again, now horribly behind! By the time she finally caught up, Boco had been reunited with his master.
She gasped and wheezed for air, coming to a stop just beside the two. She doubled over, trying to catch an entirely different oponent now. Oxygen. She held up a hand, assuring that she was fine before finally finding her breath once more and standing up. "Bo...co... why dinnit... you stop...?" she wheezed before smiling a little to Agrias.
She blinked, noticing the woman was still undressed and shook her head with a sigh. "Agrias... you're in the middle of a hallway filled with women... and you're naked..." she said, then tugged lightly on the robe. "You might want to get dressed or class-change into something comfortable?"
