The monster took another few arrows to the back of the knee, causing it to slump a little and slow. They didn't go far into the skin, but even an inch or two can hinder one's movement. Add to that, just as he fell to one knee, the charged arrows would come crashing down onto its face, causing massive damage.
It would throw its head back and roar loudly, gripping at where it had been struck. The darkness that kept it together was beginning to unravel, and as it swayed from side to side, it looked as though it were dissolving. A massive, crystal heart would lift from the bulk of its flesh and disappear into the night sky, leaving the dark body to crash to the ground. But the danger was not yet over...
You see, that amount of darkness suddenly escaping a confined space has a way of spreading over an area, desperate to find a new vessel. It would lash out, attempting to enter any heart it could find to save itself, including that of Luna and Agrias!
Meanwhile, above, a light would be shining onto the battlefield. A red, flickering light like that from fire. Should the two combatants turn their gaze skyward, they would see that the towers were beginning to glow, and Robin Hood was swiftly attempting to scale the outside toward the roof. On the other side, a ravenous Prince John would be running up stairs to try and cut Robin Hood off. Those selfsame stairs went from ground floor to roof, providing access to anyone who felt the need to distract the murderous royal, who had a flint lock pistol in the hand he was waving over his head...

The red light would bring Luna's attention to the tower were she saw Robin. "Prince John" Luna said growling to herself. She pulled herself off the ground and walked forward through the dark cloud not knowing what it was,she looked over at the new "Tacticion, and scowled at her "she thinks she so good" she tought to herself
She found herself a good spot and pulled arrow after arrow out and shot them up at the stupid Prince john. with each shot she could feel her anger growing in her, she hated Prince john, she hated him with every part of her, even so much so that she started the growl with every shot she took cursing as she went.

The shot was wild, because of Luna's darkened state of mind. This meant that the arrow came whizzing through the air, barely missing the mane of Prince John as it embedded itself into the wall. He spun on the spot, falling onto his rump on the stairs with a little gasp of terror. However, he growled darkly at this sudden attack and became determined to put an end to at lest ONE pest tonight if it killed him.
"Take THIS, rapscallion!!" he roared from the parapet, and took aim with his old-age flintlock pistol. His aim, however, was practiced. He took his time and didn't let his darkness get in the way of his shot. After all, the darkness in his heart wasn't for Luna... it was for the other fox scaling the wall on the other side of this tower. With a skilled aim, Prince John fired the weapon, aiming to hit the woman in the heart. Allowing for wind speed and the moderate accuracy of an old pistol, though, the actual point of impact could be anywhere in the torso, on the shoulders, or in the arm.
Not pausing even for a moment, Prince John used the distraction of the cloud of gunpowder produced by his shot to make it further up the stairs. As he ran he reloaded his weapon, easily able to do so after so many firearms lessons in finishing school. He turned a corner and was at the roof of the tower, ready to take aim at Robin Hood once he came over the top...

Agrias, after defeating the Executioner , sped off and left the darkness there, never thinking it would cause any more danger, and took the fog as an advantage to sneak around past the chaos or arrows and gun shots. She needed to think fast now, seeing Robin Hood in danger.
She noticed a catapult, and thought of a quick plan to use it. She took a steel arrow ( produced one, thanks to Save the Queen Bow) and took some ropes with her. The thief jumped on it, and aimed toward Prince John's hand!
"DISABLE ARM, CHARGE + 3!!!" called her voice from the corner of Prince John's eye, and by his vision WHIZZED an arrow powerful enough to knock the weapon out of his hands and topple down past Robin's side. If the angry lion would look to where such a blasted mark came from, he would find the Tactician standing over a loaded catapult. "I can't believe I'm bloody doing this..!" she gulped, and launched the catapult with her on it.
In mid air, she tried to regain balance and aimed the arrow to one of the steel rods at the top of the tower. With perfect marksmanship, she locked the arrow with the rope in place on the rod, and began to take the propulsion of the catapult shot into a swing, wrapping around the tower until she swung near the climbing fox.
"SER ROBIN!" She would call out, extending a hand in mid swing to help him move into the area where it would be safest to climb, even use the rope if he wished for better climbing. She would jump down into the nearest ledge so the rope would not break from both their weights, and she began to climb up by scaling the solid walls with two steel arrows, jabbing them into the stone to climb up. She wanted John's attention, and she was in his sights-- possibly trying to make things easier for Robin. Now... she hoped Luna was watching out for her...

Just as Prince John was preparing to take aim at the area where Robin Hood would appear, an arrow would come out of nowhere and pin his gun against the far wall, pulled free of his hand! He growled, grasping at his wrist as he looked to see Agrias suddenly taking flight. "You isolant braggard!" the false king spat, running over to where his gun was lodged in order to try and free it.
The process would take him some time, allowing Agrias freedom to scoop up Robin and deposit him. He'd smile to her and nod. "Thanks!" he'd say then begin climbing up the tower on the opposite side as Agrias, giving them the opportunity to flank the Prince ahead.
"HISS!!" Prince John would wail above, tugging uselessly at the arrow. "YOU'RE NEVER AROUND WHEN I NEED YOU! HISSSS!!!!" He continued to tug on the arrow as Sir Hiss, the very same snake that had been sleeping at the foot of Prince John's bed, came slithering up in a nightcap.
"Sir! This is madness! We need to get out of here before the castle burns down!!" he'd cry out, as indeed the flames were beginning to break through the windows, threatening to surround the tower.
"Not yet! Now help me PULL!" John demaded, and with their combined efforts were able to retrieve the gun. However, Agrias and Robin Hood would both be appearing about this time. So, Prince John would have to pick his target.... and while he had a long-standing rivalry with Robin Hood, all this mayhem was the fault of Agrias...
Pointing his gun, Prince John made his decision. He'd take the shot at the woman the instant her head appeared...

Luna stood in the middle of a clouded area staring maliciously up at the tower, she gritted her teeth as she watched as the new "woman" was able to get of the shots that she her self was not. Luna's blood boiled as she watched Prince john still climbing the stairs she gripped her bow and went to grab another arrow, but found that her quiver was empty. she shoot a couple of curse words loudly before she fell to her knees grabbing at her chest, she felt pain like something was pulling at her from the inside out. She looked back up at the tower her teeth bared as the dark cloud seemed to get denser around her.

Agrias knew that the Prince was waiting on either her or Robin, but it was all a 50/50 percent chance of who he was aiming for. She looked about her to one of the arrows that had landed around her, pulling one out and holdint the tip of the metal piece up to use as a reflection to see what was happening above. She was not about to stick out her head where there was a clear shot to it! Her eyes narrowed as she saw the angry lion aiming it to her direction, and what she could do now was make him paranoid.
"Almost there...!" she would call out, hoping the prince would hear her. She let go of the arrow, and began to take off the quiver around her waist and shoulder. "So close to the top~" she teased, holding the bottom of it and holding it up quickly to startle the man and make him lose his shot.
Even then, this would be more than enough time for Robin to take action. The tower was burning, and even she could start feeling the flames. If things did not turn well, she was almost tempted to jump down into the scary looking waters bellow. Oh, how her mind raced to the others whenever she looked up at that darkened sky. . . she needed to return to them!

With Luna
As the vixen struggled with herself--her rage towards the avaricious Prince John, her frustration at her impotence relative to the likes of her otherworldly allies, and the crushing sensation of something inside her being dragged away--her internal torment seemed to be reflected in the Stygian cloud that surrounded her, getting thicker and darker by the moment. And then it happened--as the shadowy cloud became nearly all-enveloping, an otherworldly presence appeared within its depths. A rift in the fabric of reality, rimmed with a corona of dusky purple energy. Were Luna to gaze on, the rift would grow, spiraling outward into a swirling portal that seemed to be darkness incarnate--the same jet-black as the surrounding cloud, and rimmed with penumbral violet. The vortex pulsed with a steady rhythm, contracting and expanding in a manner akin to one's heartbeat.
Akin to, perhaps, the heart that beat in Luna's breast.
And then, from the shadowy portal, a black-caped figure emerged, plunging to the ground as though it had been thrown from whence it came. Some feat of magic saved this interloper, however--just before it could hit the ground, the stranger's fall abruptly slowed, causing it (or rather, he) to land in a rather graceful crouch. As he rose slowly to his feet, his sable cloak gathered around him like the wings of an owl, the mysterious intruder's visage would be revealed--or rather, his mask. For, beneath a wide-brimmed hat worthy of the richest nobleman, this person(?) hid his features behind a shield of bone-white porcelain, featureless save for a crescent-shaped smile...and eyes that peered from angular slits, ghostly yellow and seeming to glow with their own eerie light.
But above all else, there was the aura of this being--even for a mundane such as Luna, it would be intrinsically apparent that he was not of this world. And, perhaps, more native to the dark cloud that now surrounded her than to any earthly domain.
For a moment, this mysterious figure looked about, as though getting his bearings...then, as though drawn by some elusive scent, those spooky yellow eyes found Luna's. There was a sibilant, whispering sigh from the mouth of that theatrical mask...and then a voice, smooth, elegant, and ghostly all at once. And then the figure threw his cloak over one shoulder with a grand flourish, revealing himself clad in elegant purple finery worthy of the greatest performers. But just what sort of art did this mysterious stranger practice?
"What a chaotic jest, this divine comedy called life," the stranger mused, his voice rich with cryptic, almost sinister wit. "But lo, there are constants, and this is surely one of them. After all, darkness shall always call out to its own."

SHHHHBOOOM!!
The flintlock pistol fired the instant that quiver came into view. And not a second later, Prince John could be heard cursing about deceitful women as he hurriedly attempted to reload. Next to him, Sir Hiss would be scurrying about nervously.
"Sir! Ssir!! The castle! We have to-"
"Be STILL, insolent snake!!"
Then, the sounds of struggle. Robin Hood had made his climb over the wall and had tackled Prince John to prevent him from using the gun once more. Over Agrias' head, the ornate weapon could be seen at the height of an arch which terminated in the mire below.
"Lady Agrias! Jump for it!!" Robin Hood called, clearly holding the Prince back in a fisticuffs duel to the death! "Round up the others, and meet me at the forest's edg-AHH!"
The sound of an impact. Apparently, Prince John was quite skilled in one-on-one combat, which was ironic considering his usual crybaby nature.

Agrias heard and watched as the weapon fell past her along with the quiver that was shot earlier. She looked back to see what in the world Luna was doing, but became preoccupied when Robin called for her.
"Prince of Loxley, this castle-- t'will fall soon! Ye must hurry out at most haste-Oh!" Who was Agrias kidding? As IF she would leave a man behind! She quickly hoped over the crumbling roof, and joined Robin in the fight, holding out a single arrow that was left to her, she pointed it over toward the Lion, " T'is over, False King! Surrender where you stand, or have a fool-finish! If we do not move from here, we will all perish in the flames! Ye' should listen also to your adviser!" she spoke of Hiss, who clearly seemed the rational thinker, and hopefully her words would reach the snake to help them all survive.
"The battle is over!" she called out, taking the rope from her catapult stunt that was still attached to the previous arrow, and latching it to the single arrow that was left. She was going to make a path for them to slide down with this silver arrow-- she would see no more to blood shed. With careful aim, she called out "charge + 4" and released the weapon and rope at a tree near the safe line, and hit right on the mark! Agrias secured the rope with the existing arrow above and made sure it held tightly.
"With haste now! Ser Hiss, Ser Loxley, you two go first. Prince John, you are with me! Hurry!"

The Lion looked between the heroes, realizing he was being overwhelmed. He growled, then threw something of a temper tantrum. "No no no! It's not fair!! Mommmyyy!!!" he cried out, then started sucking his thumb.
"Sir... please... what little dignity we have, can we just maintain it a smidge longer???" the snake pleaded, then looked to Agrias as she secured an escape for them. "See, sir? It need not be all bad!"
"Oo-de-lally! Great show, Lady Agrias!" Robin cheered, then smiled with a nod. "Let's get going then. I don't know how much I trust this snake though..." he said, pointing to Prince John. "No offense to you, of course, dear advisor."
The snake merely "shrugged" then made use of the escape rope. Robin would smile and nod to Agrias, giving her a thumbs up. "Jolly good. See you on the other side then!"
Robin Hood was about halfway across when something unexpected happened. "I may have lost my castle, but I won't lose my REVENGE!" yelled Prince John, who swiftly ran to the rope and sliced it with a knife. This would cause Robin to drop into the depths, uncertain if he survived or not! The Prince then turned to Agrias, grinning. "Two heroes, then! First Robin Hood falls to his doom, then the charming witch meets her fate in the fires!!"
Something about him was... darker...

"SER ROBIN!!" Agrias called stood there in shock before looking to the Prince with anger, "HOW COULD YOU!?" she growled, holding her bow up as if it were a sword, "Tch-- a sorry excuse for a lion! You, fiend, are not worthy for the crown!"
She had used up the last of her arrows, and with the rope cut, there was no escape-- except to plummet to the waters bellow. She would watch the false king with much distaste, knowing well that she could not die here.
My Son... A lesson comes from corruption: That is to know when to stand up against a tyrant. Ye might be alone in a battle against someone mighty, but ye shall have your pride to know that it is for the country! Always think of all, and not just that one, My Son... Ye may be a knight... but with such thoughts in thine heart... you truly think like a king!
"I HOLD MY WEAPON FOR THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD, and they say NAY to your ways!!!" Something unlocked, and Agrias' form began to glow, along with her bow...
Soon, a bright light would emerge from her, and cover a wide radius over the crumbling tower. Her thief/archer-like clothes would morph and turn solid again, like metal. She would acquire shoulder guards, a chest plate, shin guards, all a silver color. Her Save the Queen bow, would also morph within that light, to turn straight and metal like. Its proportions would thin in some areas, and widen in others until it took the shape of a broadsword. She pointed her new weapon at the Lion, and her eyes glowed a soft caramel, " Choose your fate wisely, False King... for the true King Richard, the rightful leader of this world, will be not far from your tracks. If not I to bring you to justice, surely the True King will!"

"ENOUGH!!" roared the lion at the mention of King Richard. "I am king! KIIING KING!!!" He wailed, and was about to attack her when suddenly flames lept up between them. He backed up, angry, but grinning. "Let these flames take you, then!" he called over the roar of fire, then turned and ran.
"HISS! You're never around when I need you!!" the false king wailed, leaving Agrias to her fate... He would not be seen again until after the true King returned...

the shadows swirled around Luna seemingly attracted to her like a moth to a flame, on her knees she looks up at the new masked figure her anger obviously not being held back. "And what do you want?" she growled as she asked the new figure

If the elegantly-dressed performer was at all alarmed by Luna's anger, he didn't show any sign of it--if anything, his jovial, larger-than-life demeanor seemed to match the wide, Cheshire-worthy smile that dominated his theatrical mask. Presented with the vixen archer's demand for answers, this otherworldly figure crowed with laughter, tapping gloved fingertips to his temple as though the demand was a mixture of philosophical inquery and fantastic jest. "What do I want from you, cherie?" he echoed. "No, no, no, my dear..t'is what you want that has brought me here. After all, I spoke truly before...darkness calls its own."
Here, the puppet-master paused, tilting his head to one side...as though listening to voices only he could hear. Then the keen yellow eyes behind his mask found the vixen's, gleaming with an eerie radiance all their own. "But the darkness is not completely dangerous...for those who know how, there is power to be found, as well." With a flourish, he pointed towards the high tower. "Power" he added with a crafty tone, "that would easily bring about the end of he who oppresses you, as the shadows have spoken."
Then the mysterious performer extended his gloves hand, spindly fingers outstretched towards Luna as though to shake her paw. "Will you accept?" he asked with theatrical imploring. "Will you walk down the path that so many others fear to tread?"
