As nexus was hit he gritted his teeth together and let out a growl. The darkness coursed through him sending a cold shiver up his spine. As the the darkness surged on him he pulled ria away from the heartless in a spinning motion that placed Ria behind him.

Looking back to the heartless , he saw that the darkness had taken over the light, "I see you can switch back and forth at ease then" he said as he pulled his sword out once more "And if you want to play with elements, i have no problem playing too" he held his sword in between the heartless and himself "Fire, come to me, show me your fury." as he spoke the blade of his sword burst into flames.

Ria moved back, growling a little at the dishonorable attack of the heartless, she pointed her sword at the woman and held her ground. Nexus seemed to have control of this, so the best she could do as a barely inexperienced fighter was to guard Daphne as a soft of last defence...

The young one held out a hand toward Nexus and shouted, "CURE!" once, not used to using magic, but able to do so every once in a while. Nexus could feel his injuries lighten, and soon his splinted arm was able to withstand pain better.

"GO PUNCH HER LIGHTS OUT, NEXUS!" She cheered him on.

the heartless chuckled, and brought her scythe out in-front of her in a defensive manner.
"two at once eh? a little dishonourable dot you think?"

she placed her free hand behind her back and began to charge it with the element she new so well.
"so are you gunna fight me or what?"

[nexus]

Nexus pulled his arm out of the sling and bent it back and forth a couple times trying it out. All tho not fully healed it worked well. He smiled over his shoulder"hopefully, i'll be looking forward to more of that" he said with a smile.

He looked back to the heartless, clenching his fist "ICE, come be my brother" his grin widening as the element of ice covered his arm and fist.

Nexus leaned forward before launching himself toward the heartless, swinging his sword, and using his arm and legs. Fire sparks, when blocked or parried, ice would shard off, and the wind form the legs would give gusts.

With a growl his stuck overhead with his sword.

the heartless giggled a little as the sword was raised, she darted to nexus' side, away from the sword, and whipped her scythe around to the other side of him, with one swift motion she would begin to spin forcing the dragon hunter into the blade and pulling him off his feet.

she continued to spin picking up more speed before throwing nexus into ria.

Ria continued to hold that defensive position, keeping Daphne behind her while she acted as her shield. "Cure!" she would call again toward Nexus-- the man being wrapped in a soft green light, moderately healing. A weak spell when used once, but spamming it as much as one could had good results. When she saw Nexus spin about within the scythes hold, she squeaked and dashed forward to help...

... but just as she did this, the dragon hunter's body slammed into hers, "OUMF!" she would cry a little, but she would not hit the ground yet. She may have been the youngest of the soldiers but it took more than a man traveling at quick speeds to knock her down. She was able to catch Nexus, and place him on the ground quickly, "C-careful Nexus! You can do it!" she cheered, and tapped him again,"Cure!" a soft light, and it was gone. The girl looked a little pale, "Th-thats all I can do for now, Nexus-- Go get her!"

Nexus smiled as he was flung through the air "I've never actually fought some one with a scythe before, he he" he thought to himself. AS he was being caught by Ria, he would shift his weight to help slow his own force by digging his feet into the ground.

Once again he felt a soothing feeling wash over him. He looked and saw that Ria was getting tired from the support she was giving him. He slowly slid his hand down her arm, softly grabbing her sword be fore she dropped it and helped her to the ground. Kneeling before her "Worry not m'la....... um Ria, rest a bit" he said as he grasp the sword in his left hand. "I'll just barrow this for a bit" he said as he stood and walked away from her, he laughed a little "How bout i try this again " he said as he raised both swords up, one burst into flames again as the other was sheathed over with a layer of ice that began to steam off a bit.

He leaned forward like he did before, launching himself forward again both swords crossed in front of him ready to strike.

From the sidelines Daphne watched in horror as Dragon Hunter and Heartless battled it out for both hers and Ria's sake. The Head of the Science and Research Development team sat on her knees, her eyes wide and puffy with tears.

"Ria!" she cried, watching the sister soldier's risky move. "Be careful!"

"I'm gonna..." She held her shaky hands together, building up another spell she'd learned back during training. Though it was weak, it would at least provide some irritation and distraction for the Heartless captor.

"Blizzard!" Erupting from her palms a blue light flashed and, all around Attra the air would grow mildly cold, icicles and hailstones whipping around her in a spiral.

the heartless was startled by the sudden change of temperature but she took the sudden concealing ice to her advantage, she corridored out of the ice and behind Ria.

Attra snuck up slowly and quickly cupped a hand over the soldier's mouth and brought her scythe blade to her neck.
"shh, this is gunna be good, so mister flamey hands... how about you go get Sai before I slit this young girls neck"
the heartless grinned every part of her being was enjoying this, she couldn't wait for the dragon hunters responce.

Ria had just finished another cure spell, until she saw the heartless woman vanish from sight. The next thing she knows is that she has cold hands over her lips and a cold metal against her neck. She would shriek into the hand, and reach up to grab the dull end of the scythe, trying to keep it at a safe distance, "HRMrm!!!" she would try to warn Nexus.

Within the evil one's hold, she would tremble, unknowing of what was to happen next.

[Orestes]

High above the clouds, several hundred feet in the air over the combatants, a corridor of darkness would suddenly open. A loud whooping, as though someone was immensely excited, could be heard.

"Woooooooohoooooooooo!" Orestes burst from the corridor with intense speed, careening towards the earth at a wild pace. Just before he slammed into the ground, it molded into a sort of cushion, gently bringing him back down to earth. He looked around, grinning, as his eyes locked on the Heartless.

Sleek and good-looking, wearing black and red. Just the kind of girl he though he could get along with. He neatly flipped over to stand several feet from where she was, observing some sort of attack she did by utilizing darkness.

"Whew," he whistled, looking her up and down, then giving the soldiers of the Alexandrian Army a grin.

"Let's dance!"

Nexus was in mid lunge as the spell of blizzard was cast, he watched as the heartless disappeared, and stopped just short of the spell. Nexus turned and looked for the woman, and caught his breath when he saw her capture Ria. The new heartless landed next to her as nexus turned and looked at the blizzard spell.

Nexus took the sword of ice in his left hand and plunged it into the spell as it went of, using it to collect more Ice magic. When it was done turn with the steaming sword and looked at the two heartless. she spoke but he didn't hear her, the chill of seeing Ria in danger still rushing over him.

he took one step further and planted his foot "Teacher let this work" he thought as he threw the sword of ice toward the Heartless, keeping his hand outstretched . When the sword was close enough he opened his hand and yelled "SHATTER!". By command the ice amd the sword itself cracked and broke into many small pieces, spread out in a dome shape surrounding the Heartless and Ria.

With a twitch of his finger one of the shards flew out of the air, barely missing one of the Heartless woman's ears. Nexus bared his teeth and yelled out "Release Her, by the goddesses of Alundra, of my world of Dragons. Release her or no matter what dark powers you posses, it won't bring you back from where i'll send you!!"

The ice shards began to slowly spin in mid air as Nexus held firm to them. His flame and Air element dissipated from him and were replace with Ice, The element covering his other word with ice as it had done the other, and covered his legs with a light covering, to do what he was doing he could only control one element at a time.

[Lilith]

the heartless giggled and pulled the scythe further into Ria's neck she let her let her hand of the young knights mouth slightly.
"tell him to stop, or you die"

she grinned at the new heartless.
"care to help at all?"

[Orestes]

Orestes flashed the woman a toothy grin as she asked for his help, then nodded once.

"Gladly!" He turned towards the man who was fighting his heartless comrade, sizing him up once.

"Oooh, you got a nice sword there, pal!" He smirked, slowly changing his glance from the blade to the man's face, searching for any response. When he simply threw his sword, Orestes stood back, leaping neatly out of the way as it whizzed past his body, missing him by a centimeter. He whistled, about to remark on the man's throwing arm, when he attacked.

"SHATTER!" Orestes looked on as the female heartless was surrounded by flowing, razor-sharp pieces of ice, and he tut-tutted softly, slamming his fist into the ground. Tons of small rock pellets rose from the earth, slowly binding themselves to the woman's body. Her hands were affected as well, but allowed her to keep grip on her prisoner.

Orestes beamed a radiant grin at her, tipping his head. "That should keep you out of trouble for now. Take care, and don't be afraid to yell if you need help!"

With that, he turned to face the man who'd thrown the sword, his hands flat at his side as earth floated up from the ground, coating one arm in a wide, standard heater-shield pattern and the other in a wickedly sharp hand-and-a-half earthy blade. He twirled once, the weapon zinging through the air as he pointed it towards his foe.

"Let's dance, big guy! Show me what you've got!"

The feel of that sharp edge squeezing tighter against her neck caused her to stand on her tip toes, trying to avoid being cut, "Mhrmm!" she would sound muffled before her lips were free to pronounce words.

"NEXUS!" She would cry, looking back to the Heartless woman, glaring at her with the corner of her eye, "F-fight with decency darn you!!" She held rightly at the blade within her grasp and cursed a blizzard spell-- making the scythe bulk up with ice, and dull the blade within its icy hold. She then reached over and BOPPED the girl on the nose with a closed hand to try and escape!

If the bop on the nose worked, she would make a distance between the two (Still within that ice dome) and she would turn and holding her fists up.

"Hmph! Y-you don't scare me...!" The knight would lie, trying to seem strong for Daphne... Ah! Daphne-- She wanted to see where her Sister soldier was, but the circumstances weren't kind. With her sword broken... she was weaponless, unless the irons of her knuckles counted as them.
