Abigail listened as Agrias began outlining a battle plan. She smiled a little, hoping that this made the woman feel a little better, taking control and being the boss. After all, what good was a sword without the mind to wield it? Agrias might be used to being the sword, but what they needed was her brilliant, tactics-oriented mind. That was their "sword" this time.
When she was addressed, the white mage blinked, looking down to realize she was in fact still wearing the black robe she needed to protect herself against infusion of darkness. "Oh!" she said, then nodded.
Agrias asked if she knew any powerful spells, so she reached into her bag of holding and withdrew the large tome given to her by Shantoto. It floated in front of her as she waved a hand over it, causing it to open itself and flip through its own pages. Eventually, the leaves settled on a certain page outlining the technique to cast Holy II.
"Yes, I have such a spell..." Abigail said, looking up. "I'll need a few minutes to prepare, but I'll only have so many opportunities to cast before my mana is drained. It's a very powerful spell..." she explained.
"What did you have in mind, Agrias?"

As Wall-E was strapped into place with Oeilvert, Kim ran over to a spot which was unoccupied. It would seem from the joysticks near her, that she was in charge of weaponry while Sai was seated at the helm and Oeilvert had manned shields and defensive systems.
They formed a perfect three-person team. Movement, Offense, and Defense. Nice. She smiled a bit, determined to do what she could! She might not have a keyblade of her own (no money to buy some heartsteele), but she could still do ANYTHING!

"Splendid." motioned Agrias, moving to the next board to draw up a different view of The Harbringer, along with two images of portal-like corridors, with the two girls there, " I need thee and Lady Ellin for a very important mission concerning the Darkness' weakness... and that is Light. While Beatrix maintains The Rose's stability, and the command of the Sister Ray, I need thee, Lady Abigail-- to have a holy spell in the ready for an attack within that massive shadow titan. "
"You mean you want me to corridor her to the HARBRINGER!?" Ellin flailed her arms, before crossing them worriedly, "Isn't that a little dangerous??"
"I trust her and thee for this serious mission-- if I was not certain that ye' two could handle it, I would not suggest it. Still, this is a dangerous war as is, Lady Ellin, and such tactics are to be expected." Agrias would assure, pulling Ellin and Abigail to the side, to continue, "I need both to be ready for when you are with charged spell, corridor over to the ship, cast the spell, and corridor back. Ellin, I need you to be that door for Abigail-- and need you to open such door near the heavy cannons to damage them, this way we decrease critical damage's to the Red Rose, and the other ships."
The novice knight turned to them and smiled weakly, " Are there any questions, and or objections to this tactic?"

Nexus had his eyes closed and head leaning against the wall as he listened in as they formed a plan. He leaned forward as Ellin voiced her concern over it being to dangerous, and made his way over to the ladies. He leaned down and rubbed a a small bit of Abigal's cloak between his fingers, as Agrias told them to port over, let off the spell, then port back.
" Are there any questions, and or objections to this tactic?"
Nexus spoke up, "Some Lady Agrais. it's been my experience that if something could go wrong, it probably will." he said with a smirk. He looked over at the monitors that were showing the big ship. He starting scratching his head "Even if you could just "Port" over there, there's no guaranty that there's not going to be someone or something there as well" he stopped scratching his head and slid his hand through his hair and rested it on the back of his neck. "I think an escort may be in order. someone to go through first and make sure she can cast her spell, AND get back safely."
Nexus looked over to Aby and paused for a moment. Smirking again "I'll go through first........ and protect her if need be, and once she gets her spell off then jump back through with her......... and don't worry about the protection from darkness cloak, i use protection like that when i travel in space with Airinose, so it shouldn't be that much of a difference." he finished looking around seeing if anyone had an objection to that idea.

Sarah remained in an idle position at the meeting. Certainly not a tactician, she was certain her opinion wouldn't have been too helpful. At least when it came to combat strategy. As she listened to the meeting, a strange, almost sharp tug pulled at her.she saw what looked to be a puppet string in front of her, but it was unable to be touched or seen by anyone else.
"Cherie Sarah...I am so very sorry..." Acteur's voice started to resonate, as if her were being restrained by something. She didn't know what it was, but there was something wrong with the way his voice sounded. It was filled with so many feelings that she couldn't tell what had actually happened to him.
"And let the end come, at long last..." The puppet string slowly became what seemed to be a myriad, disappearing as soon as she touched it. Slowly, her hand touched her heart, looking up. If what she had seen was indeed Acteur trying to say something...
"There's something wrong with this." Her hand tightened on her heart. "I have a bad feeling that maybe this strategy won't work." She couldn't explain it. It just felt like the plan was going to fail if they continued to talk that way. If Acteur was warning her, then it had to mean something to everyone else.

Lilith half heartedly listened to Sai before gratefully accepting his pack. "t... Thank you Sai... I suppose this means a lot" after Sai had left without another word Lilith did a quick loot inside the pack and then stuffed it into one of the many compartments.
The vampire rolled her hands over the handle bars before taking up a decent grip. "c'mon Lilith its better if you go... this is for them..." with that Lilith's foot slammed down on the kick-start and the bike roared into life, after the last moment of hesitation Lilith launched the bike into the air. she decided to just make a break for it, simply get out of there before things got ugly or she changed her mind, the bike hurtled past the harbingers. "did I make it?"

At her command post the general listened intently to all parties involved in conversation around her. Though she absorbed what they had to say, the Harbinger was the most tugging in her mind; it had to be stopped, at all costs.
"General," said one of Sylvia's subordinates. "It appears two of our fleet have taken off without command..."
It was just as Sarah was finished muttering to everybody, yet no one in particular, when she heard this news.
"Everyone, hold! Miss Appleton? You say you feel something is amiss and out of place? What are your suggestions? And Sylvia, open a connection if you can, with those who abandoned us. Also, begin charging the Sister Ray immediately. Once we break through the stratosphere I'd like to be ready to fire when I can."
"General Beatrix," said the soldier aboard Brass' ship over intercom. "We are ready when you are."
"Right. Agrias, are you still sending those two in?"
-------------------------------
"According to the manual, Shields are functioning normally and without any problems." Masheck pet Wall-E and turned to Sai. "We now wait on you, Captain."
I hope you live on, Locke, thought the sorcerer, shaking his head and frowning at his reflection beaming off Wall-E. Forgive me, though, if our bargain has shortened your lifespan...

"I just have this terrible feeling that somehow we're doing something wrong." Her eyes closed, trying to grasp what she had seen. "As if some detail were deliberately being kept away from us." If she said it was a warning from Acteur, would they believe her? She looked up at Beatrix, one hand still holding her heart. "I don't know what it is..."
'All I truly know for certain is that Acteur is trying to warn me about something. The way he spoke, it felt like we will see each other again. Even if he may be in this battle.' She took a deep breath, hand slowly lowering from her heart. "We're planning on attacking just one ship without knowing what else might be out there."
Closing her eyes, it seemed like everything had disappeared. The room was empty and a slight pain began to build in her heart. She had said her piece, but for some reason the string that had been there remained, forming what looked to be something Acteur might have wanted to look like.
She could hear a long, almost bittersweet soliloquy as she focused on it.
"Yes...I love you. This, surely, is my own personal will. Puppet though I was, I had this much. Enough for the Fallen to see it buried beneath the chaos of his own, monstrous form of Darkness. The choices I made regarding you, the feelings I developed...they were mine. The Fallen may have stripped it all from me, but it still existed! In this much, I was real!
Alas...t'is no longer relevant, any of it. I am no longer master of myself. My fate is written. This may not even be coherent thought anymore, but merely a lingering echo. But I wonder...can you survive? Can you end it? For, if my will was still mine, that would surely be my wish--for you to have the resolve to do what is necessary. To put an end to the macabre parody that I have become. To topple the monstorsity that has been pulling my strings. To keep on walking your Twilight path, proving that Light and Dark need not always fight. To play such beautiful music, that moves the Hearts of all who listen to it.
But above else...remember me as I once was. When we had our future ahead of us, with infinite possibility. Perhaps, as long as the memory of me remains in your Heart, I will truly have existed as my own being, and not merely a puppet.
Echo or not...this is my wish...be strong, Cherie..."
Opening her eyes, she took a deep breath. "I will be getting ready." She spoke softly, waking out of the bridge and to the only place she knew would be alright to take a few moments to relax. Sarah held her heart as she stared into the wall next to Boco's stall. She had to send a thought to Acteur, to comfort him and tell him that she would not waver on his wish. Even if he did not hear it.
"In the Beginning, all I did was hate. I let the darkness come because someone had enticed me through looking into that hatred and wanted to let it blossom. I thought that I'd be happy letting the darkness take me, subconsciously.
However, when I began to get to know you, I began to understand myself. I wanted to see what kind of person you were. A puppet or not, you were someone I respected at first.
Somehow, I began to realize the truth behind the hatred I had for my parents. It was because I didn't want to face what I really was. I wanted to have a reason to be alone from everyone else. I didn't understand that they loved me so much, but could not say it the way I wanted."
A tear began to fall from her eyes.
"I realized this as I was slowly falling in love with you. I felt like even a mere second away felt like eternity at times. But, did I deserve it? I often wondered if I had the right. I, who had shunned my own parents and siblings. I found myself forgiving them and finding out who I really wanted to be.
Not just someone who blamed others for their pain, but the kind that takes that pain and grows. You showed me the way to the path of Twilight through your actions and words. I knew that inevitably we'd be separated by death or even worlds if it came to that. I promised myself I'd never waver on my path.
If I had to think of the first time I truly felt your love... It was when you chose to follow my path with me. You have granted so many of my wishes and I have had yet to truly grant one of yours. I will grant your wish and if kingdom hearts can truly grant you a new body... I shall wait forever, My love."
"Forever." She spoke softly, wiping her face with her hand.

"Nay, Nexus." Agrias would pause him, walking over to the charts and looking to the two girls, "I need Lady Ellin to concentrate on Abigail's safety, as I know it would complicate things if two others were involved, one being a large dragon" she then turned to the Dragon master once more, and held up a hand, "I need thee to help the other ships, being that we are lacking help in the hyperspace region, and as Lady Appleton says, we do not know what else we will encounter with the Harbringer."
The knight turned to the sister ray, wondering if there could be some alterations for a mass fire, rather than singular fire.
"Is there a way to use the power of the remaining HeartSteel crystals to scatter the beam, perhaps load some crystals so as the beam is blasted, the Heartsteel can do its own damage to the surroundings as projectiles?"

[[This is a stand-in post for Leon, Culaki, and Orestes. Because he has not responded in the time I've allotted, we're going to push on under the assumption that the following has taken place:
1) Leon has assembled and outfitted his gummi ship for battle and has Zolapaz and the aforementioned soldier onboard. They have already called in their ready.
2) Culaki is somewhere onboard the Red Rose with Freyna (spelling?) and awaiting call to to duty.
3) On her way from Sherwood Forest, Orestes ordered Lilith's ship shot down by one of the Stingers under his command in order to announce their presence. Lilith ship is damaged, but serviceable. She is free to land where-ever she chooses, but I believe it's not unreasonable to believe that something came over the radio just before losing contact with her.
4) The Harbinger is now in Sherwood Airspace. It's time.
I know it's a lot, but I'm not going to hold up the entire game forever, and we need to get airborne. Let's do this!]]

[Many apologies for the delays, but I'm back for good now. Let's do this!]
Leon had watched the repairing of the Red Rose for quite some time. He'd even chipped in a bit, helping to upgrade the various energy systems throughout the ship. Life support, the new grid system, securities, the works. He'd make sure this baby outlasted even the toughest ships that got sent against them!
That being said, his Gummi Ship had also been customized. Extra speed, maneuverability, and firepower were his main concerns, but Thunder would take care of most of the enemies he encountered, and he had plenty of back-up weapons systems aboard the ship. In fact, it was a wonder it got off of the ground, but it did much more than that now!
He'd already given Sai the go-ahead, and he'd already made his regards with Cloud. Their brief meeting flashed through his mind already.
"This time, you won't have to be alone. We're here with you, and this is our fight as well..."
"Yeah...your fight..."
Leon gritted his teeth as his hands tightened around the controls. He wouldn't let Cloud fall. He'd defend him to his last breath, even if it meant sacrificing himself in order to do it. With everything in place, he simply waited for Sai's signal for the group to move out, then the final battle could begin...

A dark, cold, wet appendage sliding around his legs, dragging him to the depths...
His cries of terror, being ripped from his homeland and thrust into this strange, unfriendly place...
His loved ones missing him, and his beloved here along with the others of his command...
All of the pain that he had been through, and yet, his final stand was yet to come...
Culaki opened his eyes, shaking off the demons of his past. He made sure the Lion's Pride was secured to his back, standing up and stretching his lithe and muscular form. His whole life had been preparing him for this moment, and he would not fail his father or his tribe.
Sin may have pulled him from his homeland, but these people needed him. He could feel it. He and those of his tribe would aid Sai Blue-Hair and his friends until their deaths. And should one of them fall in battle, their spirit would be there with the group. Culaki was sure of that.
He padded through the corridors of the Red Rose, assembling the other three Ronso and ensuring that their weapons and minds were as sharp and prepared as he. Then they proceeded to the Bridge, where they simply stood in a circle, awaiting further orders from Sai or anyone who could use them...

"Is there a way to use the power of the remaining HeartSteel crystals to scatter the beam, perhaps load some crystals so as the beam is blasted, the Heartsteel can do its own damage to the surroundings as projectiles?"
Blast! thought Beatrix, scratching her chin as she thought back. When she glanced back up to Agrias she shook her head.
"No, I don't believe that the duke left us with enough raw deposits to load into the Sister Ray, as I'm pretty sure he thought the souls of his automatons would be enough to serve as proper firepower. Perhaps...maybe that which we do have will suffice, but I highly doubt it."
Then she turned to Sylvia. "Open a connection with Sai. We should ask him about that." She waited a moment until the navigators had done as she ordered. "Sai? This is Beatrix. What can you tell me of raw HeartSteele other than its connection to the heart and ability to craft magic weapons? Is there any possibility to boost the power of the Sister Ray Cannon--mind you it is powered by artificial souls already..."

To "feel" is an odd sensation for a Nobody. Perhaps, it's not even the right word. Sai knew, one way or the other, that he could at least sense the presence of darkness better than most. A keen nose was all it really took, and Nobodies could detect the foul odor even from great distances.
The air was growing more sour with each passing second. The Harbinger was near, possibly already within radio's distance or closer. While this did not stir in Sai any particular emotion, it didn't take a great amount of empathy to recognize urgency. He was just about to make a note of this to the main ship when his radio crackled to life.
"Sai? This is Beatrix. What can you tell me of raw HeartSteele other than its connection to the heart and ability to craft magic weapons? Is there any possibility to boost the power of the Sister Ray Cannon--mind you it is powered by artificial souls already..."
Interesting. Just the person he needed to alert, but first to answer a quandry. Tapping the console on his right, he pulled up communications commands.
"Raw Heartsteele is a reactive metal, responding to the heart as stated. However, it is theoretically possible for a soul to influence the material somewhat. It will not take a new form, as the power of the heart would compel, but perhaps this alternate fuel source will at best irradiate the metals, lending them weapons-grade levels of heat. I do not see the Heartsteele effecting the cannon so much, however, with a decent amount, one could create a 'shotgun blast' type of effect. This would also mean any heartsteele loaded into the cannon would be lost upon firing..."
A pause, then Sai would continue. "Whatever your plans, I suggest you put them into action immediately... The Harbinger is upon us."
Looking up from his vantage point in the cockpit... Even the ringed sillouhette of the black sun had disappeared. They were now within the Harbinger's shadow.

When Abigail heard Agrias' plan, she nodded firmly. "Alright, then!" she said without question. Standing up a bit straighter and holding her staff, she tried to demonstrate the confidence she hoped Agrias was regaining. Nexus tried to join in, but Agrias reminded him that he was needed elsewhere in the battle, especially after Sarah's and his own reservations that the Harbinger might not have come alone despite all evidence to the contrary.
"I'll need a turn or two to prepare the spell, but once it's ready I can cast any time..." Abigail added, alerting both Agrias and Ellin whom she was to team with for this mission of the time she'd need. Obviously, this was a tremendous spell, so it couldn't just be casted all willy-nillylike.
"Also, I need some space to begin the incantation. This spell requires components and a casting circle, so I can't do it here on the bridge. Maybe the hold?" she suggested with a look around.
Agrias made another brilliant suggestion as well, the idea of loading heartsteele into the cannon to spread the effect. They had to consult Sai on the matter, to see if it was possible, though. But, when they did... what he had to say after confirming the fact was a little frightening.
The Harbinger was there! There was no more time for talking or planning. They had to get skyward right this second!
"I'm going!" Abigail said, then turned toward the exit of the bridge to start running to the hold, where she'd have room to cast Holy II...

Nexus nodded to Agrias as she spoke out her plan and let him know the faults in his. Nexus smiled "I see what you mean" He nodded again and made his way out of the small group and toward the door, "I'll make my way down in preparation"
As the door opened he stepped halfway through it before looking over his shoulder. the Harbinger casting it's shadow, he stepped back to let Abigail run past before tuning down the hallway himself, with a smirk he let out "This is going to be one hell of a ride" to no one in particular as he made his way to Airinose in the hold.
