History: Cloud began as any other person might, a kid who lost his dad to a seemingly endless war. With a strong sense of responsibility towards his mother, he tended to get into trouble as a kid, culminating in his ultimate decision to leave home to become a SOLDIER for Shinra, seeking glory like his hero Sephiroth. He promised to become a real hero, but after years of training and military life, he had never ascended further than that of a common infantryman. He had befriended a SOLDIER 1st Class in the process, by the name of Zack, but that was as close to fulfilling his dreams as he ever got. On a routine mission to check on a Mako reactor in his hometown of Nibelhiem, the unthinkable happened and Sephiroth went insane. The result was a faceoff with the rouge SOLDIER and the subsequent biological experiments conducted on both Cloud and Zack. Zack managed to escape, dragging a Mako-addicted Cloud to freedom only to lose his life in the process. Cloud adopted Zack's identity as his own and became for all terms and purposes a SOLDIER 1st Class, free agent. After teaming up with a rebel group calling itself AVALANCHE and attacking Shinra, Cloud eventually got the reckoning with Sephiroth he had longed for. He, along with the other members of AVALANCHE stopped Sephiroth's bid to destroy the world and became heroes in their own time, even if some did not live to see the fruits of their efforts. It was around this time that Cloud went on a quest to find the presense of Aerith across the stars, finding her only after meeting with the Keyblade Master Sora. They parted ways, but remained tied together via visions in the lifestream back on Gaia. Years later, Cloud became infected with Geostigma, a disease caused by the presence of JENOVA cells in the lifestream. He battled the remnants of Sephiroth, emerging victorious once more. Unable to allow the memory of Sephiroth to run rampant, Cloud took the skies once more, aiding in the battle of a thousand heartless in Radiant Garden before facing off with Sephiroth one more time, disappearing into the ether to battle the memory that had haunted him for so long. Some time after that, he returned to Gaia to lend a hand with the emerging Deepground threat, but chose to play a secondary role at best. Now, he lives quietly in Gaia, resuming his delivery business with Tifa who runs Seventh Heaven near the site where Sephiroth very nearly won it all. He lends a hand where he can, but remains very isolationist in his behaviors...
Limit Break: Omnislash
Phase 1: BladeBeam
Cloud slams his buster sword down hard into the ground, creating a shockwave that knocks enemies upward into the air to set up for the second phase of his attack, dealing massive damage in the process and opening the field for others to take a shot at the helpless enemy.
Phase 2: Braver
Cloud then closes the distance between himself and the enemy, bringing his sword down on top of them to drive them into the ground. Deals twice the damage of the BladeBeam and also leaves the enemy to other allies while phase 3 begins.
Final Phase: Final Omnislash
A variation of Sephiroth's attack, Cloud rushes in and slices the enemy multiple times before leaping up and delivering the final blow. Others can join in the flurry to deal additional damage.
Motorcyclist- Cloud rides the Fenrir, a powerful motorcycle that conceals many of his weapons and equipment.
Acrobatic- Having been enhanced through JENOVA cells, Cloud is very acrobatic and can keep in the air for extended periods of time while juggling attackers and self-defensive moves.
GeoSensitive- Having also been emersed in the Lifestream SEVERAL times, Cloud has a closeness to the planet, allowing him to sense things others cannot.
SOLDIER 1st Class- Another result of the Mako shower is that Cloud is unbelievably strong and swift, attributes similar to those of SOLDIER.
JENOVA- With Jenova cells implanted within, Cloud also possesses an almost precognitive-level awareness of a battle situation, granting him reflexes and responses far superior to even a SOLDIER.
Isolationist- Cloud prefers to fight alone, and to be away from people if he can help it. This tends to put him at a disadvantage when it comes to being outnumbered.
I will never be a memory- Cloud suffers from the belief that his memories of Sephiroth will bring the one-winged-angel back from the grave, an event that has occurred on several different occasions. This tends to be a soft spot for him, and an easy target for those looking to manipulate him.
Not Interested- Cloud has a tendancy to give up on his own, relying on others to motivate him to go on. It usually doesn't take much, but if left to his own devices, Cloud would simply not care.
Magic Deficient- Relying on materia for magic is a crutch. Cloud doesn't carry much in the way of magic with him, preferring to fight with sword and skill alone. This means no healing magic, no status fixing magic, no attack or defensive magic of any kind.
Conductive- Cloud has a LOT of metal on, and not a lot of armor against lightning damage.
JENOVA- The Jenova cells in Cloud's body can be turned against him by those with higher concentrations of Jenova cells in THEIR bodies.
Halucinations- Because of his connection to the planet, Cloud will sometimes slip into a second level of consciousness at the most inopportune times, seeing images of Aerith or even Zack trying to guide him from the Lifestream. Problem with this is, sometimes he'll get a message while driving, and that's just not safe.
