Hades vs Shego

Rules and Restrictions: No-Holds-Barred fight to the finish. Either Shego dies or surrenders or Hades is rendered unable to fight back to end the battle. Shego's got three full-heal items at her disposal, Hades none. Magic's allowed.
Location: The UNDERDROME, colosseum of the underworld, the big arena six feet under! You're on my turf, babe.

The big event is about to start! The Head Honcho of Hell was waiting center-ring for his opponent, the mistress of the green palm herself, Shego. He cracked his knuckles and his neck before waving to a massive cheering crowd of undead spectators all given the honor and the glory of watching this bloody beat down from choice seats.

This one's... going to be a show.

Shego appeared from above the ring, swinging down in a spiral fashion, until she landed a few feet away from "The Head Honcho." She grabbed the rope she used to get down, and set it on plasma. The fiery green would climb, and destroy the rope in the process, so it wouldn't be in the way of battle.

There were mostly Boos directed at her, but of course, when your SOUL was owned by Hades: Hintidy, Hint, Hint.

She walked to one of the corners, and her hands burst into green flames, turning in place to keep eyes on her opponent, "Bring it, Steamy!" [/glow]

[Hades]

"Hey! Hey!" Hades chuckled, holding his arms up with a wide smirk. "Right on time! Let's get this party started, huh??"

Without a second to waste, the master of the underworld HURLED a massive fireball at the woman, easily three times in diameter that of a regular beachball and hotter than a playboy centerfold. Even if it didn't make contact with the theif after travelling half the speed of sound directly at her, it would explode on impact with the ground, not only leaving a nasty hole where it hit, but sending burning shrapnel and bits of colosseum in every direction. Surely SOMETHING would make contact.

Hades chuckled and started floating forward, hands alit and ready to rumble. "Don't die too quick. These stiffs paid for a show!" he mocked, though did his best to keep away from the edges of the ring, where the river Styx flowed in and encircled the battlefield, providing the proverbial "no way out but down".

"Right on time! Let's get this party started, huh??"

[glow=green,2,700]"Yeah- Let's g-- WHOA!" Shego wouldn't be able to finish when a fireball hurled toward her direction, the best idea she came up with, was bending backward, showing her flexibility as she saw the fireball miss her just INCHES away. When the ball of fire BUST in contact with the pavement, she was thrown forward toward the God of the Underworld.

She flexed a little, trying to gain balance in her airborne state, "BACK TO YA!" she shouted, releasing plasma balls directed at Hades in retaliation![/glow]

[Hades]

Hades chuckled at the sight of Shego comin' FLYING in his direction as a result of his blast, and just as she righted herself to fire at him, he merely snapped his fingers and bam, he was gone. It looked, due to the timing, like her plasmablasts had exploded him, and the smoke obscured the fact that they actually hit the far wall his back was to.

It gave her a moment to savor a false victory. When the smoke cleared, she'd see the damage she did to the seats and he'd lean in close from behind, whispering in her ear in an overly sarcastic tone. "What is this, national can't-hit-the-broadside-of-a-barn day? I thought you came here to fight, not do target practice!" He held up his hand, charging another nasty fireball.

"Hey, good thing you're here, right? Saves the tip to the ferryman on the way in!" he laughed as he threw his hand downward, blasting Shego from close range...

[Shego]

[glow=Green,2,700]The thief gasped, turning in place once she heard the voice from behind. Shego out of desperation hurled a Plasma ball upward, trying to soften the blow of the OBVIOUS that she couldn't dodge this time!

"OH FUU- AAAH!!" The young woman yelled in pain, surrounded by nothing but FLAMES. She hissed a little, bathing herself with her own plasma, trying to ABSORB at the flames to her advantage. She couldn't let this opportunity go to waste, since he probably thought she was dead. She fell backwards, but not on accicent-- She rested a hand on the floor and hoisted herself up by it, and with the other to spin herself in place-- releasing a BARRAGE of kicks at Hades' face and shoulders.

"Taste 5-inch HEELS!" [/glow]

[Hades]

The little sneak-attack green blast to the face was unexpected at best and Hades was started by a sudden blindness and having to bat plasma from his vision. "Huh??" he asked as suddenly kick after kick came at his face and gut, dealing a remarkably respectable amount of hurt to him, but that did little to improve his already short temper.

"ENOUGH!" he roared as his anger literally flared up, red flames engulfing his form and bursting outward like an old cartoon bomb. The intent was to use the force of the rushing air consumed by flame to THROW Shego into the circling river of the dead, effectively draining massive amounts of her life if she hit. In the meantime, it also provided Hades with a layer of protection, making him neigh-invulnerable while the crimson flames engulfed him.

"Feel the HEAT!" he demanded, throwing his arms outward and sending a jetstream of red fire in Shego's direction, swiping it sideways to make a full 360 degree whip of fire, in attempt to smack her back in if she tried to jump out of her freefall towards the death lake. The whole of these two combined forces would last only 5 seconds or so, after which Hades would wave a hand over his flaming hair to turn it back to that calm blue and he'd take a deep breath.

"I'm fine, I'm cool, I'm alright..." he muttered, calming down...

[Shego]

[glow=green,2,600]She thought she was doing good with the kicks, until an explosion (she didn't expect)-- Threw her off balance and off her hands toward the edges of the Colosseum. With a hand, burst with plasma, she clawed down upon the marble floor to stop her rush to a disastrous end. She barely hung from the edge when she felt the HEAT of spiraling flames edging to her direction.

She gasped a little, and at one point, it seemed like she slipped, but what she had done was etched herself a hole to hang on to the edge of the wall which made the floor, so she would get little damage from the God's... outburst.

She would wait for a sign... [/glow]
"I'm fine, I'm cool, I'm alright..."

[glow=green,2,600]...and that was it!

She swung back and forward in place, grasping to dear life to that little etch on the small space, and swing UPWARD, again showing her flexibility as her feet touched the floor above her, while she still sank her claws within the little gap. Once she felt the floor bellow her feet is when she let go of the gap, rushing toward Hades' direction as quietly as possible to gain a surprise attack to the face![/glow]

[Hades]

And here's where Hades would get the proverbial drop on her! As she rushed forward, he pretended like he didn't see her at all, and at the point of impact... Shego would pass right through him! Where her solid mass had made contact, his own would seem to waver like smoke before pulling back into place and solidifying. She'd be carried by her own momentum towards the other end of the ring, and he'd be happy to aid her along.

"That all you got?" he laughed, snapping his fingers and causing an explosion of raging fire just behind Shego, attempting to push her into the waters once more. He was toying with her... trying to make her the agent of her own destruction to the cheers and wild applause of the rotten audience.

He'd even walk forward casually, chuckling all the while. "Hey, whenever you're ready to give up, all ya gotta do is die..."

[Shego]

[glow=green,2,700]She was now airborne, yes, and she was out of the ring, plummeting to her doom at the river stix-- but she still had one ACE up her sleeve! PROP TIME! Remember that little pouch that dangles just above Shego's ankle?!

She opened the pouch to reveal a grappling hook. Which she took, and aimed almost instantly at the colloseum wall-- and fired. She came inches from falling into the river, and was now holding onto the wall for dear life. She was also avoiding the grasping hands bellow as she panted for air, "What a rush." she tried to joke, climbing back up to gain a little distance from the clutching souls of the river.

"Yeaah... uuh... Hadeees?" she called to the God, knowing he was listening, "I... kinda see what you were telling me now. This IS ridiculous." [/glow]

[Hades]

"Glad to hear it..." Hades chuckled as he stood over her, on the edge of the ring. He towered over her easily, a tall man already, but add to that the fact she was clinging to the side for -pardon the pun- dear life, he seemed all the taller. "But listen, deal was we go till either you bite the big one or you scream 'uncle' so, until I hear the words 'spare me o mighty lord of the dead, you win', hey, can't just leave it be."

He charged up a blast in his hand, pointing it right at Shego as the crowd began revving up wildly, screaming and cheering excitedly at the thought of "blood in the water". "Nothin' personal, babe, just gotta give the people what they want. All business, pooky, really." And with that, he unleashed a blast so powerful that it would send shockwaves into the walls and chip the chistled marble there, a column of yellow death erupting upward from point of impact.

"Dodge that!" laughed Lord Hades...

[Shego]

[glow=green,2,600]The blast would do its job, and it would CRATER the Colosseum wall, hurling Shego into it-- like burning in a FURNACE. Her screams of agony would echo through the dome. Her clothes melting into her burning flesh as she fell limp there upon the crater, gasping, choking. Amazingly, she was still alive, but barely.

The flames would cool down, at least to a degree, and the thief would try to climb to her knees, shivering in tantalizing pain. Her head still facing the ground before her- watching as pools of blood converged at certain, deeper spots than others.

"You..." She spoke in a raspy, almost regretting tone, "...win."[/glow]
