The world around the boy would be dark... Nothing could be seen, but a far distant light. A single step would awaken the doves below his feet and send them scattering off into the void... revealing in small pieces a circular, stained-glass image of a woman with blue hair, holding a stylized keyblade and resting against the left of the image as though sleeping. Around her, images of other keyblades could be seen, and the stylings of Castle Oblivion.
You have a choice to make... the soft voice whispered to the boy from all around. A sword, a shield, and a magician's staff would appear on pillisters, signifying his choice. It's a choice only you can make. By taking up one of these items... you're accepting a road of hardship and pain... but at the end is light, and redemption for those who have lost their way... So... What will you do?

Peter whirled around, not knowing where he was or who was talking. He didn't fully understand what the voice was asking, but it was clear what he had to do. "I choose the road of life. I refuse to die and let all the deaths of the people in this town be in vain."

Strength only comes from the heart. Take faith... and you will find strength... Lose faith and you will fall... the voice whispered, then faded away. It would not come again until he made up his mind. The Sword, the Shield, or the Staff. He could choose to take none, but the only way to choose none was to fall of the edge of the platform and into the darkness... accepting one's fate to fall into nothing and become a Heartless...
It was his choice to make, and his alone.

He thought about what the voice said. "If that's the case, I have faith this is the right decision." He reached out and grabbed the sword. He felt strength surge through his being. It was as if someone had just thrown him into a bathtub with a toaster, but not painful.

You have chosen the power of the warrior... If this is in fact the power you seek... What will you give up in return?
The Shield and the Staff were left behind. He would have to choose one to surrender before things would move forward...

"What will I give up?" He thought, long and hard. If he just chose the power of the warrior, what wasn't important to him? The shield probably represented protection, and the staff probably represented magic. Protection was more important to him. "I give up the staff."

You've chosen the power of the warrior... you've surrendered the power of the mage... the voice whispered... and the sword in his hand would change into the form of a ball of light, which floated in place. If this is the path you choose, take the light in hand... It is a special skill, The Power Strike. It will allow you smash your enemies into one another to get free space...
He wouldn't have much time to make his decision. All around, Heartless would begin to emerge, ready to attack him for his involvement in this whole scenario...

The moment he saw the Heartless, he snatched up the ball of light. The light shone with a brilliance unlike any other. The Heartless had no choice but to run away, for light was their mortal enemy. The light changed shape, to for what appeared to be a very large key. But when the light died down, what remained was significantly different. It still had a basic key shape, but it was twisted, like two things mashed into one. Parts of it were Angelic in appearance, all white with a faint glow. The other parts were Demonic, all black with hints of a red glow about it. They swirled until they met at the end, where they formed a wing, half devil, half angel. He held his new weapon in awe. "Keyblade."

But always remember... whispered the voice, as Peter's shadow would elongate... grow to massive porportions, then begin to expand outward, lifting high into the air. It now towered over him, taking on a nightmarish form, "hair" whipping around in its face as it stood up at the waist, a massive heart shaped hole in its midsection.
These monsters have great fear of this weapon, and they will come after you. They can sense its light, no matter where you hide. You must be ready...
The Darkside swiped at the boy, using its massive size to its advantage...

The massive swipe nearly knocked Peter over the edge. He quickly stuck his Keyblade into the glass floor and pulled himself back up. "Phew! That was too close!" He turned to face the Darkside. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Let's see how hard you fall." He charged at the giant Heartless, attacking whatever he could with his Keyblade.

[sorry, but I need to rush this along and get you into the fray] After a long battle, the Dark Creature would stagger... and fall to its knees. It wouldn't go down without its prize, however, and so it set its yellow eyes upon the keyblade wielder below... and fell upon him. The darkness in its being would explode outward in a wave of shadow, intending to swallow the fighter up, claim him in one desperate move... But remember... you hold the most powerful weapon of all... The boy would find himself under a pile of Heartless back in Traverse Town, keyblade in hand, and a strange item on his shoulder, like armor... The voice in his head would whisper... Now fight!***Moving you back to Traverse Town. You now have a Keyblade and Keyblade Armor. If you need info on the armor and what it does, PM Sai***
