First Time Flying

Peter was having trouble flying his new ship. He literally had no clue what made it go up, down, left, right, or even fire the weapons. He messed around with the controls a bit, nearly hitting a few asteroids as well, until he finally started to figure out what did what. "Ok, so this is up, this is down. Left, right. Fires weapons. Ok, I'm good."

***From And So it Begins, in Traverse Town***

[glow=Yellow,2,300]Peter's speed was impeccable, but Kefka had the advantage of billowing fire out of his hands, rocketing and propelling him forward as he sped along into space.

When he reached the limit, he had to obtain a ship of some sort. Instead the mad clown opted to wrap a bubble around him, which crystallized into a solid ball. A white-hot light engulfed its surface, and it rolled through Hyperspace like an average ship.

Now this wouldn't last for very long, and Kefka knew it. He'd have to make this quick. He sped up, rose high, and then barreled downward in hopes of knocking into the boy's vehicle.

"Die, die, die!"

The mad clown should have opted for stealth instead of his mad rantings.

"Die, die, die!"

Peter looked up and gasped. He veered to the left and turned quickly, firing off a few shots at Kefka's makeshift ship. "Not today, clown boy!"

[glow=Yellow,2,300]Kefka's crystalline ship was struck from the side as Peter made his brave maneuver. The clown cried in anger, and quickly opened a portal over the large break in its side, for him to fire off some of his magic and to ensure the shields within. Within he called on the power of Ultima, an incredible spell firing off missiles of radiant, divine light.

A sister portal opened up on the outside of his craft, facing Peter's ship. Burst after burst of magic came pouring out, arching and twisting to hone in on the enemy. When the Ultima blast had been activated, he launched his next wave, fireballs.

"You're not going to get away from this alive, you little worm!"[/glow]

Peter's eyes widened. He hurriedly tried to dodge the blasts being shot at him. He managed to dodge a few of them, but there was just too much coming at him. His ship took too much damage. "Shoot!" He tested the accelerator and to his surprise, it still worked. He revved up the engine and shot off. "I hope I can make a quick escape. My ship won't last much longer if I keep this up. Darn that clown!"

[glow=Yellow,2,300]"Oh, you just love dragging out your inevitable demise, don't you, boy!?"

Kefka laughed maniacally, spinning the ball-ship around and throwing his hands forward. He opened up two new portals in front of his hands, their counterparts appearing on the outside, directly opposite the originals. He launched a rocket-worthy jet of flames from each open palm, and they caused his ship to speed up.

When he came upon Peter's location, he came up to the side, and reopened the portal to his left, creating window-of-sorts to get a better look.

The two rocket portals merged, and he continued firing into it with one hand, while the other went through the opening at his side, lightning flaring up down the length of his arm.

"Now, Child of Light, you can taste the delicacy of electric death! Thundaga!" He released the energy in his forearm, and it barreled from his index fingertip, making its catastrophic journey to the vehicle adjacent to the mad clown.[/glow]

"OH SHIIIIIIIIII-" BOOOOOOOOOOOM!! A thunderous explosion attacked the ship viciously. It had suffered too much damage and was forced to revert to Keyblade form and disappear. Peter was sent flying off into Hyperspace, not knowing if Kefka realized his body was still intact, but unconscious. His body hurled through space until being pulled by a nearby world's gravitational field. It was a world that was being ravaged by fierce oceans, panicking islands, and pirates galore, Port Royal.

(Moving to Port Royal. Not sure if Kefka's gonna follow or not.)

[glow=Yellow,2,300]"Bingo! I sunk your battleship! Kwee-hee-hee! Hahahahahahahaha!"

The deranged harlequin sped on, turning with this sudden change of direction, and following the Keyblade Wielder fast; seeing the world he was heading for, he escaped into a Corridor, reappearing only seconds later down on a familiar-looking beach in the world below.

He directed his attention upwards again, to where he saw his victim falling towards him, as well as his large ball-like crystal ship. He grinned, watching and waiting.

He crouched and then, with this boost, jumped, propelling forth and soaring to meet his enemy in the sky. When he reached the boy he grabbed onto him, his arms and legs wrapping tightly around the body. He covered only himself in a protective spell while holding the kid steadfast before the oncoming attack by his abandoned ship.

He backed up, descending with his captive, until he was hovering only eleven, or so, feet above the beach.

"Sorry kid, but it looks like you're time's up." His already-tight grip became even more constricting; Kefka was adamant in not letting Peter go.[/glow]
