Nivea wandered towards her house but stopped at the door.
"I'm not sure if I want my parents to see me like this and im not sure i want you near them"
we know what you mean, we have a habit of killing people.
Nivea sighed and her face tightened up as she walked away from her home.
she reached the edge of town and stared into the forest.
"what do we do now"
if I were in control I'd go back to Atticus
"but your not in control are you"

(Sorry I had mass then went to lunch)
Nao judged the distance between her and the next tree before taking a deep breath and leapt. She flew through the air for a few seconds feeling weightless before gravity came into affect and she began to fall. A gust of air came rushing out of her lungs as she bashed into a tree branch but she latched onto it and took deep breaths getting her breath back. She pulled herself onto the branch and leapt again. She frowned as she realized that she wouldn't make it to the next tree. She hit the ground and immediately rolled forward, when she came to a stop she rubbed her legs which were numb before looking up to stare at a person standing in front of her.

nivea seemed pretty content that she was in control, it felt good to be back in her own body again.
you may be in control but who know how long for

before she could come up with a retort a new face landed at her feet, confused she knelt down to get to face level with this new person.
"oh, hello there, are you okay?"

Nao frowned as she glared at the other girl "What is it to you?" She asid irritably as she stood up only to whimper as her legs ached from the drop. Ignoring the pain she looked back to see if she could see any of the shadows still chasing her. "Seems like they have given up good." She muttered as she ran a hand through her short hair and looking herself over. Her clothes were very dirty though it was hard to tell if it was from her time in the cell or the run through the forest. "I need new clothes and a sword now great." She growled out before turning back to the girl "Do you know where the nearest town is?"

Nivea's face drew back at the harsh statement, she swallowed before shallowly spouting out.
"n... nothing I guess..."
she watched the girl through her fringe as she talked to herself.
"t... there's a town just over there" she turned her head towards where she just came from.
"I... can wash your clothes, my house is just a short walk from here"
why are you helping her, this kids a dick
she ignored the voice in her head.
"but... really, are you all right?"

Nao looked up a little surprised the girl was still being nice to her before rubbing the back of her head "Um sorry about being so harsh and I thanks that would be nice I guess." She said before running a hand through her hair again and sighed looking back into the forest nervously before shaking her head "Lets go." She muttered as she began to move in the direction that the girl pointed "My name is Nao Uzuma by the way." She said introducing herself.

Nivea was pleased by the change of attitude, she began to walk alongside the new girl and guided her on way to her house.
"I'm Nivea"
she walked cautiously towards her house, she looked at the floor only occasionally peeking at the newcomer.
they reached her front door, Nivea pulled out a key and opened the door.
"mom! dad!"
there was no response.
"good, come in..."

"Nice to meet you Nivia." Nao said uncertainly as she followed the girl sending nervous glances around every now and then. When they reached Nivia's house and frowned when she said good when her parents weren't home. She paused in the doorway eyeing Nivia warily "Why is it good your parents are not home." She asked

she turned around to Nao.
"it's... complicated..."
she let out a soft smile and brushed her fringe out of her eyes.
"the bathrooms upstairs, y...you can leave your clothes outside the door and I'll wash them for you..."
she looked to the side and turned to go to the kitchen.
"um... are you hungry at all?"

Nao shook her head before giving a soft smile. "Thanks but I am not that hungry." She said before heading upstairs and quickly finding the bathroom she took off her clothes and set them down in the hall before turning on the shower. She ended up taking a longer shower than she had planned because she hadn't been able to take a bath or shower in what seemed forever.

Nivea grabbed an apple and took a few bite out of it as she went to get Nao's clothes, she held the apple in her mouth to free up her hands so she could carry Nao's attire.
she chucked the clothes in the washing machine with some detergent and switched it on.
she walked back to the kitchen and sat on the counter.
she took another bite out of her apple.

Nao sighed as she dried off before rubbing her forehead and glared at herself in the mirror "What am I doing in some strangers house?" She asked herself angrily before shaking her head "She is being nice but I thought the same thing about..." She paused before shaking her head "And even my best friend stabbed me in the back in the end." She muttered before thinking 'I'll give her a chance.' She frowned at herself in the mirror before wrapping the towel around herself and opened the door slightly "So you have any clothes I can borrow?" She called.

Nivea upon hearing the call, ran to the bottom of the staircase.
"yeah! my room is through the door to the left, you can wear what you want!"
she'd better not touch my stuff!
nivea bit her bottom lip
"um.. except for the stuff in the red cupboard!"

Nao raised a eyebrow before shrugging "Alright!" She called down the stairs before walking into the room at the left looking around she took note of the red cupboard and walked over to to a dresser. opening it she looked through before grabbing a white sleeveless top and black jeans and put them on. stretching she smiled as she headed out of the room and down the stairs "Thanks for all the help Nivea." She said before her stomach growled and she blushed glaring at her stomach.

Nivea giggled.
"thought you'd be hungry, I'll make us something!"
she walked quickly to the kitchen and threw open the cupboards and the fridge and in no time she'd made a modest lunch for the both of them.
she set the plates on the table and layed out the knives and forks.
"dig in!"
