Jenova saw Edgar speaking to Terra, her cells still quite active in him. She walked towards the two, bowing respectfully to the others. "I see that you are both well. I apologize profusely, Sir Garland had to help me right away." She spoke, sounding sincere, yet using her influence over Edgar's cells to make sure that he didn't suspect anything.

Edgar hopped from his place on the bed and threw out his arms. "Ah, Jenova! What a pleasure to see you again. I was afraid that you had abandoned us on the highway when the Knights of Cornelia attacked us. But as you can see, we are fine, and are now here not only as prisoners, but medical guests. How was your business with the knight? You fulfilled your mission, correct?"
He folded his arms together and moved to Terra's bed and sat down. "Yes, we had a bit of a problem with the Knights at one point after your departure, but in time we'll be well enough to travel."

"Yes, Sir Garland helped me what I needed to fulfill." She spoke, looking relieved naturally, though it was quite an act. "I hope that you will be able to travel soon." She spoke, sitting down on a chair to be able to talk a bit more comfortably. Her hand gently touched Edgar's.

[glow=teal,2,300]Seeing a few promising ... adventurers, Shantotto set out to find these few to see how truly promising they were.
Upon reaching the the door to the three where they sat, Shantotto's warp rift had opened right before, shinning it's purplish light. Out stepped the short stature taru, and her Cardian follower. (A strange looking apparatus with a staff.) They began to wonder about looking around at the place she had entered. "What a droll place this is ..." was all she would mutter to herself before stopping for a few moments only to hear voices from behind the door.
Shantotto in her infamous way opened the door and walked through as though she owned the place. She paused a few moments to look about the room while her Cardian stopped just behind her. Eventually setting her sights on who she sought. "O~hoho such a young little girl I have in my sights, I wish for you to assist in my plight." She spoke these words with little worry for Edgar and Jenova. She did however come peacefully even though escorted by her personal Cardian. "Terra was it now, you show promise in the spells you wield, however you lack the skill and patients on the field. Now that my personal plans have been made aware, a proposal I put out hear me if you care." She spoke this as she made her way over to where Terra was sitting next to Edgar wondering what she would make of her plight. Her Cardian stood just shy of the group ready to engage if even one hair was threatened on Shantotto's head.[/glow]

Terra tugged on Edgar's sleeve "Edgar........ please tell me i'm not the only one seeing this...." she thought to herself, as she slid up the bed a bit letting the teddy bear sit.
Terra noticed that Edgar had to be feeling better seeing as tho he was about to turn into his normal flamboyant lady talker, if Jenova kept showing him that kind of attention. She already saw the grin appear on his face, so she turned her attention on the bear
When the bear had finished rhyming, it took Terra a sec to decode it. "ok so what exactly are you asking of me?" she asked "Or how can i help?"

Edgar shrunk back at Jenova's touch and smiled, taking up his hand to rest just over her own. "Yes, once we're able to--"
"Yes, Terra, I see it too..." he let go of Jenova's hand and put his full attention on the Teddy Bear spouting ominous nursery rhymes, and furrowed his brow. "What on Cosmos..."

Memories of the Golden Saucer came to mind as Jenova looked at the stuffed teddy bear. Her mind began to go back to the various attractions. Part of her mind wanted to look further, go into more detail on why that certain event was important. A strange body combination between a cat and some big white creature. Something with a video game... It all made no sense, her eyes losing focus. She began to go inside herself slowly.
"...first off, it bothered me how you looked exactly alike. Two completely different people, but look exactly the same. The way you walk, gesture... I think I must have seen him in you... But you're different. Things are different..."
A woman with a pink ribbon and braided brown hair was speaking. Who was she? Why was she starting to seem to take over?

While Jenova went off to meet her friends, Garland set to the work at hand. She went to speak with the two strangers and he went to speak to the semi-conscious Biggs, tapping his shoulder and calling for a secret meeting. Within moments, the entire area was devoid of soldiers, and they had missed the entire dealing with Shantoto.
He brought the men into a room, and proceeded to address them all. "We all know this day has been coming..." he muttered, standing tall and removing his helmet. "More and more of these strangers invade our home, and what does the king do about it? Nothing... absolutely nothing..." he turned to look at them, frowning.
"While WE put our lives on the line to protect a kingdom that doesn't acknowledge us! Aren't you sick of our men taking the brunt of the pain and sacrifice and still living like commoners, unable to see your loved ones, your wifes and children??" he demanded, raising a strong sense of outrage from his men.
"But no more..." he whispered, holding a fist up in righteous fury. "Tonight... that changes... Tonight, I make my play to show the royalty who the true rulers are! This is where you make your decision... Do you live in squalor? Or do you rise up, a united force... and STRIKE!!!" Garland slammed his sword into the ground to prove his point, prompting more cheering from his men.
"Tonight, I kidnap Princess Sarah... and if you HONOR a kingdom that doesn't stand for madness and terror... you WILL lay your swords down and allow me safe passage. Those who do not... I'm sorry, but there will be no place in the new kingdom for you. Those that do... will find a peaceful time for themselves and those they love. You have the word of Garland. WHO IS WITH ME?"
Was it any wonder... that no one stood against him that night?

[glow=teal,2,300]Shantotto would mention something of an empire ... though short and brief her visit, she had more pressing matters to deal with.
"My presence is known and power is great, a perfect world order will arise, one that exists solely for my pleasure all the way to the skies! So I ask you this are you on the hero side, or Shantotto's side? I will soon see you again, for my greatness is summon O~hohohoho"
Soon after speaking she would utter a few words and a warp rift would open fourth, consuming Shantotto and her Cardian, leaving nothing more than mere footprints till later to come.

Terra was now more confused than before the teddy ever showed up; she gazed over to Edgar and Jenova, catching her breath to speak. "Okay, sooo...let me get this straight. That little teddy bear was asking me to come help her take over the world?" she asked, confused. "...and wait, did it say I lack skill?"

"Honestly, Terra, I am just as confused as you are..." He thought about how Shantotto just appeared and began spouting her nonsense; the king was not impressed with the way it just intruded, accosting Terra the way she did. And when the Tarutaru finally disappeared, he was happy for it.
"Hm...taking over the world. Very much like Kefka...What do you think, Jenova?" He turned to face the Calamity and noticed she was in a sort of day-dreaming trance. He propped himself off the bed and moved close to shake her, grabbing her by the shoulder. However, when he did he felt a sudden surge of pain rushing through his body and, through his eyes he began seeing something, something unfamiliar to him.
A...Golden Saucer. A Gigantic Chocobo statue and...a girl? A red ribbon, tying up immaculate chestnut hair. Who was this woman, and for what reason was the king of Figaro seeing this?
He pulled away from Jenova and was shot back to the floor, where he cradled his smoking hand in his other, and he seethed.

"I'm searching for you."
Jenova felt the presence still trying to take over. This woman who she didn't even know.
"I want to meet you."
"But I'm right here." Jenova spoke, her voice almost a whisper. Her hands remained in her lap. Her eyes began to shut, the presence starting to take over her body. One last bit of her called out towards something, anything. 'Atticus...' It was the last thought she could send before she collapsed to the ground.

After the little "conference" with his men, Garland stepped out into the main area once more. He saw the two he had his soldiers deal with talking, and Jenova on the floor. Walking over, he pushed Edgar aside to pick her up lightly. "What happened here?" he demanded, looking right at the man. Without waiting for an answer, he walked over and laid her down on one of the White Mages' tables and stood there a moment, brooding.
Slowly, he turned to look at them. "Your trial awaits you. She'll have to stay here for observation while you answer for your presence here..." He nodded to a few of his men, who would escort them to the hearing room, Biggs would be standing next to Edgar's right side as they walked.
"Don't worry... I'm sure it's no big deal and you'll be free to go after the magistrate hears what your intentions are. Just tell the truth and you'll be fine..." he muttered, Garland's words of conquest on his mind. He felt if he could get these new people out of the castle, it might be best...
-----------------------------------------------------
In the Courtroom, the two "heroes" would find themselves surrounded on all sides by high benches, on which sat old men and women in powdered wigs, eyeing them judgementally. The cheif magistrate would bang his gavel loudly once everything was in place. "ORDER! ORDER!" he demanded, then looked at the two.
"You stand accused of plotting an attack on this kingdom... what do you have to say for yourselves?" he asked, fingers intertwined as he leaned forward...

This whole "court system" was a bit different than Edgar'd ever seen, him usually judging over all trials of Figaro. He stood in his box with Terra, surrounded on all sides by the demanding crowd and stared up at the magistrate, his eyes baggy due to exhaustion, sadness and confusion.
"Your immaculate honor," he began, and turned to address the whole courtroom. "I had never even heard of this world before I met the woman Jenova. Myself and this girl hail from a world called Cosmos, where I am king of the land of Figaro; one night we were attacked by strange phantoms from the darkness, children of Kefka, no doubt...and when I tried banishing them...we were sent to some strange, foreign world where we met the other woman. She told us of her important need to meet with a man named Garland, and when we arrived here we--by some string of luck--found him. Though he was not too pleased we'd been warped inside an evil temple, or something, and attacked us."

Terra stood silently at Edgar's side, she thought that letting him do the talking would be in the best interest, seeing as tho it's his specialty.
Terra took a moment to take in the court room full of people, but found herself not being able to focus on faces or specifics of the people there. She was still tired, like she was just out of energy. Her only other problem, that kinda concerned her, is the fact that she was feeling a little nauseous .
