[glow=purple,2,800] Remembrance
As I stand alone, once again in this small room, I contemplate in melancholy in what came to this. To forever halt for the love which never came, for the promise of waiting. The little part that is human is alive because of that promise, and nothing more. Slowly, the loneliness poisons me, as all exists while I remain outside that thin margin. Observing, as Time's Guardian.
Still, something new happened today, something I did not see coming...for once. I broke.
A lost one by the name of Jenova. I was to only guard the time-line, and, for some reason or another, I was... compelled... to bring her here. To my sanctuary. It was... nice to have company which was not destructive, in a sense.
Alas, as soon as she came, was as soon as she left. She had her answers, and now, she had her reason to exist... to seek her destiny. Again, I was alone in my un-existence, but the smile countinues... it fails to leave me.
Time... is not a curse, but a passage. To know it fully, and respect it, is to co-exist with it. Time may seem evil... but it was my patience which rewarded me with... a guest. It felt right to expose her to this realm... to truly help her.
I must continue with my promise... but... is it bad to say, I cannot remember my lover's face? Has it truly been so long...? [/glow]

[glow=purple,2,800]Memory
Lately, I have been thinking of a particular child from my past.
...
She is a small one whom would smile brightly at me. This child was different from others, and I know she and I were close. I was not her mother, but her guardian, and I would always keep her safe.
... I looked different... younger... much younger...
I was sitting under a tree with her one day, watching her rest her eyes while she rested her head on my lap, looking up to me.
She would giggle, and I would ask, "What do you find so amusing?"
"That you always look at me." she said, looking at a strange fruit that fell from the tree. "Everyone else thinks that I'm no one." Her eyes lit up, examining the fruit.
... she had powerful eyes for her age.
I remember smiling back then, and I would lean down to tap a little at the tip of her nose, " I look at you, because you are someone." ...I was laughing... I remember laughing with her... "You are very special... my sweet." ... ... what was her name...?
...
"Me? I'm told I was a demon's child and I shall only do evil things." She spoke, looking a little sad. Part of her wanted to break the fruit apart, I could tell.
... the poor dear...
To this, I would look to the child with sad eyes before smiling for her, leaning down, and tickling her sides, "Tell me... would a demon's child have such a pretty laugh?" I would encourage her to think nicely of herself, "Or such a pretty smile?"
When I looked into those eyes, she seemed to be confused, wanting to smile, but was unsure. "Isn't that why no one else looks at me?" she would ask.
... I was suffering like a mother would to this... my dear, sweet friend...
"My sweet child..." I would coo, wrapping my wings around her softly, "They look not... because, well... we are both different, really." I tried to explain, "... but it does not mean we are evil... we have... a similar destiny, is all..."
...a similar destiny... how can I forget someone so important then...? How can I forget her name...? [/glow]
