Attra's body fell through the corridor, leaning into what looked to be a beach at night. Her body was too exhausted, having to co-exist with Nivea bugged her. Speaking of which, the person was bugging her at the very moment with some sort of problem.
'We didn't find my parents there! Now you send us to a place with only darkness?! How dare you Nivea?
"You have any brighter ideas helpless little girl?"
'Of course, now give me back my body!' Attra wanted to protest, but her body and mind had done too much fighting back in Halloween Town. She figured it would be a good time to rest, since Nivea was not able to form a way to leave.
Nivea was nervous, her body getting up after what seemed to be three or four needles of pain on each part of her body. "Gah! Attra, my parents...they aren't here..." She spoke, moving around at a snail's pace in an attempt to find some sort of way to find help. The dark creatures around her did not help her feel comfortable at any point of her walk. She wished she had a weapon to keep them from pushing her down or even bugging her.

No sooner had the young woman changed into her human form did she run into some of the more... frightening of the dark brood. The moment the Shadows realized that she was NOT one of them and that she didn't possess any kind of protection from the darkness, they would begin to swarm, and behind them, NeoShadows would follow. And behind them, massive Darksides would begin to show as well.
They all converged on where Nivea was standing, unaware of her little secret. Some were confused, because her scent WAS familiar, but on the general whole, they were all after the woman's heart.
"My, my..." spoke a voice over the madness of the crowd, which instantly silenced the noise and confusion. The heartless would move aside, looking over to the familiar form of the Fallen, who strode forward with his hands behind his back, wings tucked behind him casually, and his eyes trained on the human girl. "This just seems to be our day for unexpected visitors, doesn't it?" he muttered, coming right up to her and stopping to stare her down. His presence, even here, was unsettling.
"However did you find your way to our door... young lady?"

Nivea felt weak at the appearance of all the dark brethren. Part of her wanted power, but felt unable to do so without Attra for help. She wanted to drag Attra out, but the woman seemed to not want to care. "I... I'm looking for my parents." She spoke, her eyes wavering as she glanced towards the most powerful fear she saw. Atticus, he had... He had been the one to grant Nivea her powers.

"Your parents... hm..." Atticus whispered, his eyes staring deep into the soul of the human. One hand would come out to stroke lightly where a chin was presumed to be, though it was hidden behind the shadow of his hat and the lining of feathers around his neck. Those claws grazed over the feathers there, sharp... deadly... and horrible even as the gentle plumes gave way.
"Sorry... but no other humans like yourself have come this way..." he said, his tone strangely sweet... like poison when you don't know when you're drinking. "But we could become your family..." he added, his hand falling away. "If you but... open your heart to us..."
The dark monsters would twitch about nearby, some dancing somewhat in place as they shuffled from foot to foot in eager anticipation. It seemed they were waiting for something... like ravenous dogs forced by their master to watch the meat dangle in front of them before they could take it...
"What do you say...? Would you like to belong?"

Nivea knew that giving in would be best. However, hadn't Attra already dealt with this man? She shook, uncertain because of the deep seated ability that Attra had and she did not. She would always protect her, right? 'Attra! Please.... Please help me!'
"Can't let me sleep for even a minute..." Nivea's body slowly changed, turning into the familiar form of Attra. She had been about to attempt to summon her scythe when she noted what was in front of her. Dark creatures and the one who had given her power! "Oh, Atticus." She blinked, not sure when he had appeared. "She's certainly dramatic, thinking she'll be harmed while I'm here." Nivea muttered, looking towards him. She respectfully bowed to him, realizing she had not payed him proper respect. "I apologize, Nivea can be such a helpless child."

When the woman suddenly began to change, Atticus )as well as the other heartless) was taken aback! Many of the ones that were prepared to attack now snuck forward slightly in an attempt to understand what just happened. Some recognized the heartless woman as having been here earlier. As for the Fallen, he tilted his head somewhat at this odd... turn of events.
"Attra...?" he asked, looking her over appraisingly before crossing his arms in thought. "You... never mentioned this Nivea before... nor that you possess a rather... unique ability..." his hand lifted to his chin, looking at her.
"...interesting."

"Nivea happens to own this body." Attra spoke, seeming a bit annoyed at the fact. She slowly settled to sitting down, her body feeling the pain of her adventures in Halloween Town still. "However, she agreed to work with me if I find her parents." She put one hand on her head. "Now it would be nice to have a rest...this body isn't that strong when I have to constantly use corridors..." Her eyes were fighting to stay awake, seeing as her personality was required for combat and protection. She hoped that Nivea would not have to call her again.

The Fallen nodded softly, then snapped his fingers. This prompted several heartless to help the woman to her feet, and begin guiding her toward their little homes just beyond the beach. He would watch them care for her, as a family should, before speaking.
"Rest well, Attra... and when you are ready... I believe I have a mission for you... Afterwards, we'll see about finding those parents she seeks..." he muttered, then turned to walk back down the beach and sit on a comfortable enough rock formation. He'd wait there for a while... until he could give her the information.
He was about to eliminate a hurdle in his way with her...

Attra's eyes slowly closed, letting the creatures guide her to their homes. She wanted to do more than just rest, but the crazy professor was a formidable foe. She could vaguely feel Nivea's relief that Attra failed the point out the clue to her parents, or what she thought was to her parents. In reality, it wasn't even a clue. It was just something that made her shake when she looked at it. By the time the dark creatures had led her to a place to rest, she was only half awake.
----
The voices of the darkness remained gentle, something she seemed to enjoy. Nivea felt safer with Attra out in this place. Her body slowly sat up, making sure that her body had recovered enough to move normally.

"Good. You're awake..." a voice would whisper next to her, and should she turn to face it, she would find the dark one in the room with her, his back to her and his eyes staring out over the horizon of the dark margin. His feathers ruffled lightly before he would slowly turned to face the woman. Clearly, he had gotten tired of waiting on the beach and came here instead.
"I have a job for you..." he said in a grim tone. He faced her fully, walking over to the bedside before sitting on the edge and looking toward the window once more. "Your powers... are quite unique. They give you an edge I had never dared to imagine before... Attra... you possess the ultimate way to blend in with those of the light..."
He paused, lifting a hand to observe his claws somewhat. "That having been said... I want you to venture out into the world...and find the one who calls himself 'Sai'. He's my Nobody, and a threat. I've known for some time that he's been looking for a way to get his heart back, but I cannot allow that when we're so close... That's why I want you to find him..."
With this, he tightened his hand into a clenched fist and lowered it slowly. "...and end him. When last we crossed paths, he was working with the 'heroes' aboard the Red Rose. Find that ship... use your power to blend into their ilk... and when the time is right, strike. I don't care who you have to kill or turn to get to your target... only that you do so efficiently..."
Here, Atticus stood once more, his hands moving behind his back to hold at one another as he walked to the window once more. "You're to start the instant you are able. Bring me his wand to tell me you've completed this mission..." he said calmly, then fell silent to take in the beauty of the distant shore once again.

Attra smiled at the prospect of being able to kill something. She listened to Atticus for as long as he spoke, waiting for him to leave before letting Nivea have a say. She slowly stood up, making sure that she didn't disturb any of the other sleeping brethren.
'Will I find my parents if I help you?'
"Of course, scouts honor." Perhaps she was being sarcastic, but it sounded too sincere for Nivea to be thinking such things. "All we have to do is find this Sai person and kill him."
'Okay, I'll do my best.' Attra opened a dark corridor, making sure to seek out Sai. She moved forward, towards the last world Sai and went to.

When Attra had disappeared, Atticus looked back to the empty bed, thinking a moment. He would pause, clearly caught in deep reflection.
"Can't have some nobody spoiling our hope for the future, now can we..." he muttered to himself, then made his way out of the hivelike building to head to the dark margin...
Someone was there waiting for him, after all.
