[nexus]

The moment Ria backed away from the Heartless Nexus grinned , showing is teeth "Frostbite Eclipse!!" Nexus yelled out closing his hand into a fist sending all the shards at once flying toward the heartless, harmlessly going around Ria.

Nexus had no time to wait he squared up with the male Heartless, looking to his sword , then over to Ria who was standing with her fists up. "Ria, this might work better m'la..... uhh , then your fists" he said as he threw his sword to Ria having it land afoot away from her sticking out of the ground. The sword itself was still wrapped in Ice, but if Ria would lift it she would find it light and the Ice wouldn't harm her.

Turning his attention back to the Heartless in front of him, "Dance you say?" Nexus said, and with a quick movement of opening his arms (Wolverine like) on each are Ice formed into long blades protruding off of both forearms , the rest of him became covered lightly with a layer of ice armor, his hair adapted frost tips, and his eyes took on the vertical like slits with a light blue hue.

"O yes lets dance" he said as he pushed off and leaped toward the Heartless, arms crossed ready to slash out.

the heartless wasn't expecting the 'bop' on the nose... 'bop' being a bit of an understatement, the heartless was knocked back, just allowing the young knight a slight opportunity.
the heartless brushed her nose, "that actually hurt..."

Attra turned to look at her scythe and saw that it was covered in a layer of ice, she placed her hand on the ice and sent a charge through the ice shattering it off.

and then came the ice the heartless danced out of the way of the projectiles effortlessly constantly with that crooked smile.
when the ice shards had passed the heartless retook her position... and then charged her scythe blade hovering above the ground.

as soon as she was in range the young knight she forced her blade upwards towards the young knights chest.
"Eat this!"

[Orestes]

Orestes watched with mild interest as the young woman was freed from the grasp of the Heartless, then turned his attention towards the man who had formed blades of ice on his hands and charged him.

"That's more like it!" Said Orestes, leaping forward and meeting him mid-swing with a clash. He used his shield as a basher, forcing the man backward, but he held his ground well. Orestes was impressed. This might actually be a fight that he could enjoy. He matched sword-stroke for sword-stroke, realizing that other measures were in effect.

He clenched his fists and looked firmly at the ground at the man's feet. A covering of rock would shoot up, gripping him firmly up to the knees in solid, un-budging rock. Orestes neatly backflipped a few feet in the opposite direction, allowing his shield to crumble into the earth.

He instead allowed the earth to form up into a wickedly sharp spear, and he pricked his own finger with it, smiling in sick delight as he hefted it in one hand, testing the weight and balance of it. Once he was satisfied, he gave a cruel smile towards the man who was held in place, laughing.

"I hope some of your fancy magic can get you out of there...otherwise, you're in big trouble!"

He looked to the other Heartless for a moment, giving her a grin.

"You fancy a kebab? I'm famished!"

Then he reared back his arm, slamming forward with immense power as he flung the spear at his opponent. He'd only have about three seconds, if that, to react, before he was pierced through the stomach, to die a slow and painful death as the acid poisoned his insides...

[The Alexandrian Army]

She heard Nexus' words and felt the blade land somewhere near-- thankfully, while Attra was distracted in thawing out her scythe, she had time to pick it up and hold it in a defensive position over her chest- The tip of the Heartless' weapon digging itself through the icy defense of the Dragon Hunter's sword.

"AFRAID NOT!" the young soldier would reply, and push the villain back against that cold whirling shard attack. She held her foot up and rammed it against the other woman's stomach to create some distance, and she held up the light-feeling sword.

" I am am a proud Alexandrian Soldier, and I refuse to die by your hand!"

[nexus]

Nexus smiled looking down to his feet, he watched as the Heartless flipped away and made his spear. Instead of struggling against the earth at his feet, he bent over and grabbed onto the earth, with a growl he shattered the ice that was covering him, and in one motion, stood up pulled the element of Earth with him. The earth surrounded his legs and covered his torso, extended down his arms and encased his hands.

The Heartless launched the spear, Nexus plated his feet and swung his arms forward and grabbed the spear, being pushed back by it's momentum, eventually stopping the spear. "So your hungry then?" nexus said as he pulled the spear in front of him, crushing it between his hands. "Then eat this!!" he yelled as his slammed his fists into the ground sending a rippling quake in the direction of Orestes, splitting the ground as it traveled at tremendous speed.

[Orestes]

Orestes watched with fascination as the young knight defended herself -again- from the vicious attack of the Heartless. He tut-tutted in her direction, giving her a winning smile.

"You need to press the attack. Finish her off, before she nicks you with the sword like she did on your nose!"

He chuckled at his own joke, then heard a shattering sound and looked over to see his opponent breaking out of the ice. Not only that, but he took the earth with him, using it to cover his hands and his torso! Orestes smiled grimly, impressed, and dropped the hand that held his sword, clicking his tongue curiously.

"...then eat THIS!" The mad had yelled, and slammed his fists into the ground. A massive quake swept quickly towards Orestes, splitting the ground into two separate pieces. He spun once, twice, dragging his sword across the ground as he did so. Slamming the blade into the earth, he sent a giant blast of equal power at the man's quake.

The two met with an explosion of power and force, casting dust and shards of rock everywhere. Orestes launched himself forward just as the explosion happened, pulling himself through the broken and disrupted rubble. He hoped his opponent was quick on the draw, as he had his blade pulled back at an angle, ready to slice open his chest...

Attra was beginning to enjoy herself, maybe this girl might actually pose a challenge, she grinned rather than cringed when to soldier brought a kick to her stomach.

she giggled as she stood back up, she twirled her scythe through her fingers, much like a baton, the heartless' grin disappeared.
"dusk bolt"
the scythe master brought up her free hand and launched a black bolt of lightning at the girl, with the bolt hopefully throwing her off balance

she charged and brought her scythe out in front of her and slashed at the girls sword with the hopes of disarming the girl, if that worked she would toss her scythe to the side and grab the girls dominant arm before sending several charged blasts to the girls torso.

[The Alexandrian Army]

Daphne knelt behind several large chunks of broken castle nearby, clutching her chest tightly as she peered over the top, surveying the chaos. She'd expended much of her spiritual energy in order to emulate the basic Black Magic spells learned back in Alexandrian training; she had never really been too interested in the whole 'magic' scene, anyway. Science was far too interesting, and so she stuck with what she knew and loved.

"We need to get out of here," she whispered, turning to see if there were any escape routes she could map out and take.

"Ria! Nexus!" she called out. "Formation: Castle-Labyrinth!" She stood up and, with what energy she had left, she ran for Castle Naught, looking back only once to her comrades. She hoped they would understand her message; if they reached the castle interior, they could formulate a confusion method, causing the Heartless creatures bent on capturing and destroying them to lose their prey.

[nexus]

Nexus watched as Orestes flew through the cloud of smoke, "Ria, Nexus" He heard looking out the corner of his eye. Nexus smiled and stood his ground waiting where he stood for Orestes to close the gap between them. Orestes would be pleased and overjoyed to find that his sword had found it's mark, and with a bit of resistance the sword would pierce and find itself buried to the hilt within the chest of that which was in front of Orestes.

While Orestes was dealing with his prey, Nexus slipped away, snickering and thinking to himself "bout time that Earth Clone idea worked for once" he ran up behind Ria and grabbed her around the waist, pulling her out of the path of the bolt of lightning. "Another time girl, me must be off" Nexus swiped the ground with his leg sending a small dust cloud to Attra, releasing Ria's waist, he grabbed her hand and pulled her into a run in the direction of Daphne "Seams she has an idea, might be wise to follow" He said to her as they ran

Nexus really wasn't one to run from a fight but he couldn't fight with everything because he was worried about Ria. ...............wait why was he so worried about her? Nexus looked over his shoulder at her, and down at their hands, He started to feel a little red in the face. He turned his face forward again "Now's not the time to think about this" he whispered to himself

[Orestes]

As Orestes closed in on his prey, he felt the stab of delicious anticipation knotting itself into his chest. His aim struck true, and his blade penetrated itself into his opponents' chest! He saw the blood spurting from the end of the blade, dripping its crimson delight onto the earth below him. He had won!

He pulled the blade free, savoring the splash of dark red fluid that sluiced across his neck and face. Watching the body slump to the ground, he looked over to his heartless comrade, noticing...that the girl was getting away! And the man had her in tow! So he hadn't won after all...

Orestes screamed in rage, tearing after them with incredible speed. He swung in a circle around the scythe-wielding heartless, grabbing her by the slim waist and hoisting her onto his back, piggy-back style.

"Hang on, we've got some fresh meat to catch!"

He blasted off, the earth carrying him across the ground as he pumped his legs. His enemies were far, far ahead, but he would catch them eventually. And he'd make them suffer. He turned his head mid-run to look his team-mate up and down, and gave her a grin.

"You comfy up there?"

Attra watched as the dragon hunter made off with her target.
"DID YOU JUS... WHAT JUST HAPPENED!"
and before she knew it she was whisked off her feet and onto the other heartless' back.

"You comfy up there?"

"no, just keep going..."
she crossed her arms and leant on top of her 'steeds' head."
"well this sure went to hell"

[The Alexandrian Army]

The young soldier felt she was in over her head, but still she had to try her hardest to rescue Daphne, and help Nexus. While the plan was set in motion, and Nexus held at her hand to start running, she couldn't help but be a little confused at first. What in BLAZES where they going to achieve by going into that labyrinth of a place that was HEARTLESS territory!? The girl gulped and took sword tightly, watching their tails as they ran from the two.

"A-ah!" She gasped, seeing them beginning to catch up, "N-Nexus, Daphne- they are right behind us!"

When they continued to run, she decided to cast a few supportive spells she learned, "sh-shield!" she cried three times, growing tired, but this would allow them to have some sort of armor against their physical attacks. She stumbled a little, but quickly picked up her pace, blushing at the Dragon Hunter's support. They made many turns in there, and she wasn't certain if they were some sort of safe or not.

...She stayed quiet and alert for any surprise attack upon the three.

[nexus]

Nexus looked over his shoulder as they ran through the labyrinth, he couldn't see the heartless but he could feel them getting closer. He knew that running through this place wasn't safe let alone easy, there were small heartless popping up here and there as they ran. When they turned around a corner, Nexus reached out and pulled Daphne out of the way of one of the Heartless minions striking out of the shadows. With a quick elbow strike, still being imbued with the element of wind, the heartless dissipated as the strike left a hole in it.

Nexus glanced up at the castle on the other side of the labyrinth, he noticed that there was a small tower on the southern end of the castle. "She could land there." he thought to himself. If he could of he would have just called Airinose awhile ago to get them out of here, but he knew that the two Heartless following them wouldn't give them time to do so. The tower could offer a quick exit to this place, but he could feel them closing in. they'd never make it before they caught up. He was still holding onto Ria's hand, for some reason he didn't want to let go. With a big "Sigh" he let go and turned to Daphne.

"Daphne, we aren't going to make it out of the labyrinth at this rate" he said as he pointed to the tower "If you two can get to that tower, all you need to do is call for Airinose, the dragon i came on, she'll come down for you" he took a breath and looked to Ria for a second then back to Daphne" When she lands tell her i told you all to get the hell out of here" he told her a started back down the path they came down. "Even if i'm not there get out of here" he looked over to Ria "Don't worry tho, i'll get out of here, one way or another." he smiled mentioning for them to get going.

[The Alexandrian Army]

Ride a dragon!? cried Daphne inwardly, her eyes wide as she turned her head back momentarily to glance at the two Heartless hot on their trail. She continued to run, cupping both hands around her lips as she nodded at Nexus' order.

"Airinose! Please, come get us, please, please, please!"

She ran again, awaiting the swoop-down from the dragon above, and turned her attention to the havoc happening just beyond the walls to the castle and nearly skidded to a halt.

"The labyrinth is a battleground...others are here!"

[Orestes]

"Well this sure went to hell..."

Orestes chuckled at the heartless' response to his question, putting on a burst of speed as they neared the labyrinth. Entering its musty, dark corridors, he breathed deeply, feeling himself oddly at ease with the presence of his heartless minions strewn about its black and serpentine tunnels.

He clapped his hands each time he made a turn, signaling for his beasts to close in for the kill. The passages echoed loudly, and Orestes knew he would have to act soon to prevent them from getting to the tower where the mysterious "Airinose" was awaiting. Orestes didn't know who or what it was, but that didn't matter.

He snapped his fingers, opening a corridor of darkness as he ran. Knowing his heartless ally wouldn't have a problem with it, he disappeared into it at full speed. As he floated through the inky blackness, he opened another one, the destination glowing through the black miasma of darkness: the courtyard just past the labyrinth.

As he hurtled out of it, skidding to a halt about a hundred feet from where Nexus was running, he pulled his hands up, collapsing the corridor behind and in front of his enemies.

"Better start running faster next time..." He said, watching the last remnants of rock fall into place. If they found a way out, he'd be impressed, but all the more eager to do battle with them.

"Game. Set. Match." He dusted his hands off, neatly pulling his ally off of his back by her waist and setting her down.

"You're welcome."
