It has come to my attention that I've made a mistake. It is my job as an administrator of this Role Play site to ensure one thing and one thing only happens, and that's to make sure that you, my dear players, enjoy the game and have fun. However, this having been stated, it has come to my attention that I have failed all of you, and very few of you are actually enjoying yourselves while playing this game. Some find it tedious or boring, others feel they are being cheated of the experience they wish to have, and still more feel that communication amongst players has reached a point of redundancy and has become an effective buzz-kill.
I apologize deeply for my inability to provide all of you with the kind of game I had dreamed of providing. Effective immediately, I'm dissolving the Other Hearts IM group. If you have specific questions for me, I will remain available on my Nghtmarz2 screen name. Further, if you have suggestions for improving gameplay, I am eager to hear them. If anyone wishes to leave the group under the basis that it is no longer any fun, I understand and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your participation thus far.
In one week's time, I will re-evaluate the effectiveness of the game to produce a worthwhile environment. If at that time I discover that I have consistantly been unable to uphold the first and most important rule of the game, "have fun", then I will overturn my position as the administrator, and delete the board. There is no reason my players should accept being part of something that no one is enjoying, and that will be your official release from the game.
Thank you all, and I apologize.
