Name: Sir Arthur Cornelius Tweedbottom
Species: A being of darkness.
Gender: None, although his appearance is based on that of a human male.
Height: About two meters tall.
Weight: I'd say a good 85 kilograms whenever he's solid.
Chosen Fight type: Pretty much depends on his current mood.
Allegiance: Who ever signs his Contract.
Appearance:
Arthur has three main forms, but his most used form by far is that of a semi-solid ghostly apparition:
Second is the appearance of a charming young fellow, wearing the same clothes as above, yet solid. With curly brown hair bound into a pony tail, a stylish goatee, and yellow eyes, this is the form Arthur prefers when he doesn't want to frighten onlookers or to gain the trust of a person of interest.
His last form is his 'true' form so to speak, which is a shapeless cloud of black mist.
Weapon: He can materialise two flintlock pistols at will. They apparently do not need to be reloaded.
History:
Mostly unknown. How he came to be is a question that has puzzled many. Some say he always existed, others say he actually is a small portion of the Dark Realm itself that gained consciousness and sapience. A few obscure rumours even tell that he used to be a mad scientist who somehow found a way to separate his Heart from his Body without becoming a Heartless in the process. Arthur himself happily contributes to these stories, as he prefers his past to be multiple choice. It's all part of the fun.
His modus operandi for the last couple of dozen years is to have individuals (of both Light and Darkness) sign his Contract. This dark artifact binds him to said individual in servitude, on account that he may have the fellow's Heart upon death, and the Hearts of those they kill.
Abilities:
Regeneration - In his physical form, Arthur is capable of regenerating very quickly from wounds inflicted by non-magical weapons. In fact, he rather enjoys letting himself be shot or cut to pieces, only to rise up fully healed a few seconds later.
Mindwalking - In his mist form, he can enter an individual's body through any available orifice. Weak-willed beings can be controlled like a puppet, while strong-willed ones limit him to mind reading and being a source of annoyance ("Hello! I'm the little voice in your head!").
Necromancy - He can summon the Hearts of those who have died and form them into Shadows or Neo-Shadows to do his bidding. His 'employers', should they fall in battle, usually become much more powerful Heartless variants.
Locomotion - This ability allows him to bring inanimate objects to life, either for personal comfort or combat purposes (inspired by 'Bedknobs and Broomsticks').
Corridors of Darkness - His personal means of travel. As a being of pure darkness, he obviously won't be affected.
Weaknesses:
Arthur is extremely vulnerable to most forms of magic, which is in fact the only way to give him some lasting damage. Light magic could even give him grave injuries that are difficult to regenerate, assuming it doesn't outright destroy him. Keyblades and enchanted weapons are another way to hurt him, with the former capable of similar results as Light magic. On the other hand, Dark magic will hardly affect him and might even bolster his power.
Also, his tendency to underestimate opponents and overestimate himself will most likely be a hindrance in the near future.
