Name: "Sai"
Species: Nobody
Gender: Male
Height: 6 feet even
Weight: approximately 180 lbs
Chosen Fight type: Magic wielder
Alleigance: In-Between
Appearance: "Sai" bears many resemblances to a black mage, with a wide-rimmed hat and scarlet scarf covering most of his features, minus two yellowish eyes which glow in darkness. He wears a silvery robe similar to the Organization's black style.
Weapon: Weather Wand, a stylized twelve inch length of wood which is used to manipulate weather.
History: Before the fall of Ansem the Wise's apprentices, a young Black Mage from Cornelia by the name of Sai-Atticus (Sai is a title meaning "learner") learns the secret of using darkness as a means of travel, and how to use these "corridors of darkness" to visit other worlds. He leaves his life at the School of the Black Mage to pursue his new knowledge, finding Radiant Garden after several passages. There, he became friends with a young apprentice named Even, and shared his knowledge of darkness with him and his fellow apprentice, Xehanort. As a result of walking the shadows for so long, "Sai"'s heart was slowly engulfed in darkness, and instead of fighting it, he allowed it to happen, mistaking it for a Black Mage ascencion. It was his transformation from Sai-Atticus to the Nobody "Sai" and the Heartless Atticus that intriqued Xehanort to abandon his own heart and become Xemnas and Ansem. He blames himself for the rise and fall of the organization, though he was never accepted by the 13 due to the fact that his views of how to recover their hearts conflicted with the nobody Xemnas's ideals.
Phase 1: Tornado
Sai uses his wand to levitate participants of the limit in a broad circle around himself, allowing them to attack at high speed. Good for situations where the group is surrounded.
Phase 2: Hurricane
Rain begins to form in the area as Sai creates several corridors of darkness and leaps between them. Each time he re-appears, he blasts the nearest enemy with a bolt of lightning from his wand. Excellent for large groups which are unevenly dispersed.
Final Phase: Maelstrom
All participants stand back-to-back and swipe their weapons from left to right before interlocking their arms. The result is a gigantic storm that lasts longer the more members are involved (10 seconds for just Sai and another, 15 for a third member, 20 for a fourth, and so on). The storm includes Gale-Force Winds, sharp rains, hale, sleet, lightning, and chunks of ground which comes loose as a result of the storm. The reason for the interlocking of arms is for the members to attempt to tough it out in the eye of the storm (more members means less of a chance that someone could be lifted into the storm itself). THIS MOVE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS as it involves a risk factor of 50% (decreased slightly for each member added beyond Sai and another) that the group could be swept up into the attack. This move devestates the immediate area, and can lay waste to buildings as well as any heartless.
Levitate- Sai waves his wand to move an object (regardless of state of matter: Solid, Liquid, Gas, Energy, or Plasma) from one spot to another.
Lightning- Sai thrusts his wand forward, sending a devastating blast of lightning at a single opponent.
Weatherman- Sai has the ability to alter the weather as he sees fit (for instance, he can summon fog to conceal movement, create rain to distract enemies, call forth winds to cover an escape, etc)
Corridors of Darkness- Sai, being a Nobody and thus lacking a heart, can create Corridors and use them freely without fear of darkness growing within.
Scent of Darkness- Sai also has the ability to "smell" concentrations of darkness, due to his standing as a Nobody.
Weaknesses
Logic- Due to not having a heart, Sai is incapable of making decisions OF the heart. This means, if the right thing to do is to rescue a partner over escape, Sai will always choose the latter.
Eternal Search- Because Sai's main priority is to re-unite with his own heart (currently held by Atticus the Fallen) he will at times prevent others from attacking his Heartless. This is a weakness more for the team than for himself, as without a keyblade master they may be under attack for some time.
Weather Dependant- Sai's power comes from weather. If he is in a situation or place with NO atmosphere (within the corridors of darkness, or Hyperspace) he's practically useless.
MP limited- Much of Sai's power depends on MP. This means that he can, and WILL grow fatiqued if he uses magic too extensively within a certain amount of time (minus the use of "levitation" which does not use MP)
UnShielded- Sai is just as vulnerable to his own attacks as his enemies. This means that unless he is taking precautions, he and anyone else on his side will be injured.
Appearance- Much to the dismay of his companions, Sai does share a passing resemblance to his Heartless. This means that in a situation where charisma is needed and they're around those that have been attacked by Atticus, they are less likely to trust Sai.
Emotionless- Sai is terrible at raising morale. Don't expect him to encourage or congratulate, as he'll just as quickly point out all the negatives in his evaluation of a situation as he would all the positives. Without a heart, he cannot be emotional. Period.
