While being ushered away along with the rest of the soldiers, the Black Mage was having a hard time reuniting with both Abby and Ellin, but when he overheard that she was going to check on those who'd disappeared, he was pretty upset he couldn't follow. So he went to the soldiers and aided in pulling back Daphne, and then faced off against the Heartless.
"Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!"

lilith cursed under her breath as she left the room, she trudged through the ship to her quarters. she slipped through and locked her door.
the vampire sat on her bed and brought her knees to her chest while biting down on her thumb... she got back up, grabbed a blood pack and tore the top off with her teeth, she poured the liquid into her mouth some of it missing only stream down her cheeks and down her neck. "its just not enough..."
Lilith was forced to make a hard decision. she went to the door, grabbed the key and threw it out the window. "I can barely control myself any more..." she herself into a ball on her bed, the blood staining the satin white sheets.
the vampire couldn't even cry...

[glow=green,2,800]When Atticus' name was mentioned, Ms. Go let out a loud clap, "YAAAAAY!" She would cheer, hovering out of the room and dashing over to the stage to nearly POUNCE Atticus and giving him a congratulatory hug. She snuggled his pointy shoulder before looking at him, her eyes crescents pointing upward, " Attikin's you won, and I got it all on tape! Oh, everyone back home will be so happy~" [/glow]

Attra noted Daphne's location, moving forward with a big body as cover. Breaking through the ranks with her scythe. The soldiers were not easily parted, but Attra had learned quite a bit from her experience with the sadistic professor in Halloween Town. Once she was close enough to Daphne, she pushed away those who were holding the woman and leading her away, forming a small corridor that was enough for her to pull Daphne down in. She pulled the woman down by her legs, heading towards the Castle of Naught.

The young soldier had seen Daphne made quite the threatening speech, and this caused Ria to etch closer past the soldiers, " Dr. Daphne please!" she tried to calm things down. She was near the ones pulling the woman back from the heartless group. Her blue eyes saw glimpse of something awkward heading their way-- a big body!
She watched Daphne and the hunter, before calling out, "NEXUS!" when his body was tossed aside by the large, roundness of the heartless. Then-- this unknown woman made a reach for Daphne's legs and began to pull her into a corridor!
"DR. DAPHNE!" Ria would squeak, reaching past the soldiers and grabbing the woman's hands- trying to hold her back-- fighting so the scientist wouldn't be swallowed by the darkness.
"RIA!" Maara shouted in the mess that had occurred. Without Agrias, or Beatrix, and the quick exit of the vampire-- all of the soldiers grew disoriented and confused. She tried to call up to Nexus, being that he was the closest. Apparently, Atticus and the others on the stage were probably a distraction, and they could do nothing. This woman attacked from the rear, and with all the commotion, this little dance number was a success!
The young soldier was losing her grip upon this world, and she began falling through the corridor with Daphne, " NEXUUUUUUS!" sounded the frightened girl, holding for her fellow "sister" for dear life!

Nexus stood fast as the creatures headed his way, still having only one working arm, he prepared to strike at the first large one closing in on him, but to no avail. Nexus was caught off balance by the size of the large creature and was sent flying by a swipe of the creatures arm. Nexus heard Ria call out for him as he landed into a couple chairs.
With a bit of a growl, Nexus was back on his feet , lunging at the large creature , swiping with is "Light" blade, slicing the thing in half. Watching as the large one dissipated into thin air. Maara shooting out for Ria caused him to look for her, just to see her being pulled into the corridor. Hearing Ria scream for him caused Nexus's heart to skip a beat.
Nexus leaped from where he stood , diving for the corridor and Ria. "Thud" was all Nexus got when he landed, the corridor closed just before he landed. He was on his hands and knees as he stared at the carpet where the corridor disappeared, shaking his had a couple times, his anger boiled in him for not reaching someone who accually called out for him.
Nexus's anger pushed through him as he lifted his good hand up in a fist and slammed it into the now empty space where the corridor once was. He didn't just hit it once , he slammed his fist down a couple times, each time he hit, the ground rumble a bit more and more, the element of earth surrounding his fist. He hit the ground till it rumbled the room and cracked the floor, then out of nowhere he let out a yelling growl, almost beast like.
After his growl Nexus looked around and saw that he had at least the soldiers attention, and it downed on him, that they were so close themselves but being in disarray they didn't act. He stared at those looking back at him and raised his voice loudly "THAT IS ENOUGH!!!" he began "YOUR GENERAL AND HER HOLY KNIGHT ARE GONE, TWO SOLDIERS HAVE JUST BEEN TAKEN, AND YOU ALL ARE STANDING HERE LIKE CONFUSED CHILDREN!!" he took a breath "GET YOUR ASSES TOGETHER AND GET TO THE SHIP, WE LEAVING NOW TO FIND THEM"he finished. after his speech he saw some of them looking back and forth at each other .
Nexus walked up the middle of the isle and before he got to the door he turned and looked at them again "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?! MOVE IT!!" he barked out as he made his way back to the Red Rose. He headed for the bridge thinking Lilith was there.

Mayhem... chaos... it seemed that wherever the heartless went, they brought these things with them. Already, the confusion of the kidnapping was scattering the "heroes" as they retreated to find those that were taken. Good. Less to get in the way.
When Atticus heard his name as the declared winner, he dropped the impresario unceremoniously off the stage, and turned to Kefka, from whom he was able to find the location of the mirror. Why waste time, after all? Of course, when Ms. Go came to him, he scritched affectionately behind her unseen ear to show that he appreciated her praise. Once this action fulfilled its intended purpose of causing the enamoured heartless to either faint or swoon, he turned toward the door and walked toward it, to claim his prize as the victor of this little... excercise.
Walking up to the door, he found it locked. Typical. However, that was nothing that couldn't be remedied. Lifting his hands, he jammed his sharpened nails into the space between wooden door and jamb, ripping it away with little care for the ornate decorum or delicate carvings. He threw it aside and casually stepped inside, his presence literally darkening the room.
Up to the mirror he strode, and into the glass he peered. He saw his reflection there at first, and nothing else. His head tilted a little, and he spoke finally...
"Show me everything..." he muttered... claiming what was his...

While at first Atticus the Fallen only saw his own reflection through the mirror, it did not mean that the being within could not see him. Assessing the situation, the chaos, pervading the Opera House, the Oracle thought about the vile creature standing before her glory. A slight snicker would emanate through the antique structure that served as her home and prison, and after a silent moment she took the place of The Fallen's reflection.
"Congratulations, O glorious cheat," said the Oracle, giving the Heartless a feigned grandiose bow. She looked just like Maria, with only a glow to hint that she was more divine than would truly be revealed. "I have heard of your coming, and have come up with the appropriate images for you to behold..."
With a grin the Oracle stepped through the quicksilver and took her place at The Fallen's side.
"But first, my poppinjay, tell me: What is wrong when it's right but truth when it's a lie?"

Nexus entered the cargo bay, stopping to let Airinose know what had happened in the Opera house. He patted Airinose on the head before he left he and made a b-line straight to the bridge, walking past most of the soldiers as the entered the ship.
Upon arriving on the bridge he expected to see Lilith sitting in the captains chair, but she wasn't, she wasn't even on the bridge, there was first mate Ellis standing at the helm yelling out orders to the other soldiers on the bridge instead. She seamed as tho she was in great haste, as to be expected. Nexus walked up beside Ellis and before he could speak, she through out another order.
"Sylvia, find out where General Beatrix and the other are." she told the navigator, while looking on to the other soldiers "Make preparations to leave once all the soldiers are back on board." she stated before looking over shoulder at Nexus "And what are you doing on the bridge Hunter? and just to let you know, your outburst earlier was highly unneeded" she asked him.
"I've got a reading on General Beatrix, Lady Agrias and on Daphne and Ria." Sylvia said before Nexus could answer"but they all seam to be in different places."
Nexus moved before Ellis could ask and looked over Sylvia's shoulder. after a moment "They also seam to be in three different directions as well............ Beatrix is in the opposite direction of Ria and.... Daphne was it?." he said as he stared at the screen.
Nexus stood and looked over to Ellis already knowing what had to be done. With a slight bow to Ellis, Nexus left the bride and headed to the cargo bay.
Ellis nodded slightly as Nexus bowed knowing what his plans were as he left the bridge, turning to another soldier "Is everyone on board yet?" she asked "The last soldier just boarded mam" the soldier replied "Good then prepare for lift off, we're heading for General Beatrix" she ordered "but what about Daphne and Ria" Sylvia asked. Ellis looked over he shoulder at the door to the bridge and then back to Sylvia "Don't worry Sylvia, Help is on the way to them as well."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nexus entered the cargo bay just as the Red Rose began to lift off. He walked over to Airinose, picked up the saddle next to her and began to fasten it to her
"We going somewhere? she asked
"To get Ria and another soldier" Nexus replied attaching one of the leather straps
"We're not staying with the ship?" she asked
"They're heading the other way to Beatrix" he replied
"I see " she said, she looked at Nexus and something about the way he was being serious about this made her smile
"Something funny?" Nexus asked grabbing his packs and attaching it to the saddle
"Not a thing nexus, i just haven't seen you this serious in awhile, that's all" she said
Nexus placed his hands on her sides with he finished attaching the bags. "She called for me Airinose.............. she called for me and i couldn't get to her...." He told her
"I understand, and i am with you" she told him as she nudged against him with her head
"Thank you " he said as he climbed up onto her back. "Now lets get to her"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The ship started away from the opera house as the cargo bay opened up and Airinose carrying Nexus leaped out. Anyone form the Opera House looking up toward them would have seen to trails of light heading off in separate directions.

Atticus watched as the woman appeared, and tilted his head slightly to find her familiar face. She spoke to him, then lifted away from the mirror itself. His eyes watched her... observing every motion, every move. She was a threat. He knew that much, but she also had information he wanted. Once he had that, however...
"A cheat, am I?" he asked... taking careful note of her actions. "I prefer to think of it as... strategy."
And now, a diversionary tactic. Something to prolong his claim to what belonged to him. This was becoming insufferable. He had the masters of darkness. All he needed now was to get to the castle of naught... and fulfill his destiny.
"What is wrong when it's right but truth when it's a lie?" the woman asked him. Funny, isn't it, an oracle asking questions? An eye would become circular, demonstating Atticus' disbelief at the situation.
"Riddles... must we? Is this because you call me a cheater?" he asked, then looked away. With a sigh, he bowed his head and closed his eyes. "The answer is a reflection. When you look into it, you see a reversed image of reality, hardly correct even if it shows only what it is presented with and thus is right. At the same time, it is not truth in that there is no other person there, just an illusion. Truth when it is a lie..."
He looked to her, to see if she accepted his answer. "...correct?" Inwardly... he was considering sticking Kefka after this creature once the door opened.

Once Gabranth had left the rear of the stage, he made his way out through the front corridor of the Opera House. Outside he made his way across the ocean front, slowly making his way to the ship. He began to contemplate just how to find Malificent and how to approach her. He showed no concern or fear for the God Hades' himself, the grasp of Hades was another story.
He entered the ship after some time. Gabranth readied the ship for departure within moments of entering. He thought to leave Hercules behind, though his search would be easier to keep him around, at least for the moment. Then over the small intercome that he had been giveing Hercules' voice appeared to come through.
"Gabranth, you there? I've got my eyes on the clown. Are you airborne yet?"
Picking up the device though short, he spoke through his visage. "Ship is prepaired for flight, you have 35 minutes."

a smirk creeped up on her face as she watched The Fallen consider the riddle she'd given him. She waited patiently, her head tilted only slightly, and when he questioned her methods a simple nod was granted. Surely this senior Heartless did not expect to gain something without a price?
"The answer is a reflection. When you look into it, you see a reversed image of reality, hardly correct even if it shows only what it is presented with and thus is right. At the same time, it is not truth in that there is no other person there, just an illusion. Truth when it is a lie..."
When Atticus recited the correct answer to the riddle she suspected to find him staring at her complexed expression; had he been waiting for that, she would be quick to upset him. Nodding with a scoff, she folded her arms.
"That is very true, indeed, Atticus the Fallen. Now, as for your prize. Behold, just a possibility of the future what lies ahead for you!"
Releasing her arms she threw them out before the mirror; her hands glowed, and then the entire reflection within the mirror took on the same, heavenly aura. What The Fallen would see next was his, and his alone.

As the Red Rose lifted off into Hyperspace, the soldiers took to their positions--even those battle-ready--for they feared another encounter with the Harbinger, The Fallen's Heartless flagship. Were they to encounter this, they'd be doomed. The Rose wasn't even completely finished from their last space battle.
"All engines...full-throttle...ready yourselves...move, move, move!" cried Ellis, turning to all the navigators and engineers who controlled the ship's functions.
"We've got to find General Beatrix--she is our first priority...and then...Her Ladyship Agrias, Professor Daphne and our Sister Ria...we've a load of work ahead of us.
"Ensign Leanna, reports? Where do you think the others could be?"
"I've no idea..." said the girl with a glum frown.
"We'll work on that when we find General Beatrix, then...let's go!"

The Fallen watched with hungry eyes as the images of the mirror filled his vision. Everything he needed to know to set up future events were streaming into his knowledge, granting him the tools he would need to ensure his race to continue on forever. Inwardly, he would be laughing with insane delight at the news he was receiving, news which for you dear reader, will remain a secret... for now.
Turning, the dark one left the small room, his wings fluttering behind him as he strode among his fellow dark creatures. A turn of his head to regard them later, he nodded curtly to signal that they had everything they needed. "MeadowSong... Kefka... Miiaxra... let's go home..." he said in a very dark tone, insinuating that when they got there, he had something big waiting for them. A flick of his bladed fingertips would summon the corridor which would lead them to the Altar of Naught, and of course... their destinies.
He sent Miiaxra and MeadowSong ahead of him, choosing to grab Kefka's arm and pull him closer to share a private moment with the man. He leaned in, and whispered a very personal bit of information to the clown, information he was certain would make him quite eager to return...
"Maria is the Oracle..." was all he'd tell him, then nod for him to move ahead. "But business before pleasure..." he muttered afterwards. Once Kefka was ahead of him, he'd step forward as well, and with one foot inside the corridor, he turned to face the Opera House, hearing the rumbling of the Rose outside. Looking to Ms. Go before he left, he nodded a bit to her. "You can come along if you wish, but I believe you had a personal project you were doing with our ally, your counterpart? In the meantime..." he looked up here, and spoke to himself...
"Can't have any cheeky little girls mucking up my glorious deathstroke, can I...?" he asked himself, then lifted his hand to snap his fingers. "Keep them busy..." he muttered, turning into the corridor before it shrank away into non-existance. High above, the battle fleet would react to the command, moving into position to intercept the Rose, and engage in open combat.
Command Stations, Monoliths, and Stingers would stream across the sky, as numerous as the stars beyond. The Rose would have to fight its way free of the Fleet before it, or anyone aboard, could help ANYONE.
