the vampire scoured the ship, looking for unwary prey, it would slink effortlessly through the shadows looking for just the right person to sink its fangs into, eventually it found a suitable meal, isolated...
Laura, it had seen her occasionally through the ship, nothing special, she would mostly take care of stock and the bird, her blonde hair in curls cascaded down her back, she was popular, she was the kind of person that was easy to be around.
her scent was sweet, inviting.
it would cling to the ceiling creeping slowly towards her, dropping down without a sound, it moved closer.
the knight felt a tingling sensation in the back of her mind, she slid her sword out of its sheath and swung around to meet the vampires gaze.
"l-l-l-lady l-l-Lilith w-what are you d-doing h-h-here?"
it said nothing, it only continued to move closer its eyes were empty, soulless.
the knight was frozen by fear, the presence the vampire put out was overwhelming, she could only drop her sword and stare with horror into the creatures eyes, tears began to stream down the girls face.
the vampire clutched the girls arms and moved its head towards the girls neck, its tongue crawled out of its mouth and slowly moved over the surface of the young knights skin, it was ready the monster drove its fangs into the girls neck.
what followed was only a scream and then it was gone, back into the shadows.
